In the post, I reminisce on how my relationship began with Lasheya Diaz, the designer behind Shades of Shea (whose catsuit I’m wearing above, and whose dress I’m wearing below).

I wrote, “I first discovered Shades of Shea when I co-hosted The UGA F.A.M show in New York City. The designer of the line, Lasheaya Diaz, gifted me a dress at the show, and later revealed that she figured out my measurements just by eyeing me and studying my pictures. She’s a genius!”

“After I wore her dress for the first time (and loved it!), we decided to collaborate again.”

I continue, “Here’s a tip for young designers. If you want to get your items seen or ‘discovered,’ try to find a way to get close to someone with a following, whether they’re an Instagram star, editor, celebrity, actress, or singer! There are a million brunches, shopping, and cocktail events (!) going down around the nation, where you can potentially meet any of the above.”

“I’d suggest you, the designer, wear one of your pieces. I always ask designers if they’re wearing something from their line. You’d be surprised how many times they say no! You have to be a walking billboard for your brand…”

Lady Bey gave us a quick snippet video on Instagram posing with Blue Ivy in matching fashion. It appears like Beyonce was sporting a similar style to this $4,950 Gucci Denim jacket with Embroidery while little Blue was rocking the $860 children’s denim version:

Although not the exact same, Bey’s jacket definitely contains intricate embroidery throughout the frame, with animal motifs and phrases patched on. You’ll see many of the recurring Gucci themes here, including birds, flowers, the lion and butterfly.Blue’s jacket is blue bleached denim, and features embroidery throughout as well, perfect for a little one stepping into the realms of fashion.

Tamar Braxton was spotted out and about rocking some real style! She wore a $1,475 Victoria Beckham Floral Swing Coat and finished her look out with a pair of  $1,490Tom Ford patchwork metallic sandals: The coat featured oversized flowers and animals, cut in a very mod style with draping and layering throughout. 

Her shoes are definitely celebrity favorites, and feature metallic detailing throughout with an ankle tie at the top and open-toed.

Fashion extraordinaire Rihanna was spotted out and about at The Nice Guy in Los Angeles while rocking a full lilac ‘fit featuring a lace-up corset, a classic flowy button-up, a white utility jacket with pleated detailing from Dior‘s Spring 2016 RTW collection and a pair of $995 Givenchy Mesh-Paneled White Leather and Lace Mules.

The versatile topper was presented with a scallop-cut short set and a printed choker. And, let’s not forget about those popular ankle wrap slingback pumps!

Chicago Med actress Yaya DaCosta took to the red carpet of  The Nice Guys Los Angeles Premiere in a $1,890 Herve Leger Kasie Rose Multi Textured Flutter Sleeve Flared Leg Jacquard Jumpsuit:

She looked glam rocking a textured updo, lashes for days and a hint of pink on her pout.

She’s quite the stunner, no?
