Women all over the world want to look like Solange Knowles: she wears bold prints, high-fashion silhouettes, and vibrant colors with ease. The multi-hyphenate style maven is now giving ladies around the globe the chance to do that with her very own C/Meo for Saint Heron capsule collection:
You’ve already seen a couple of the assemblage’s designs on Solo, as she slipped on the $190 Take Care Bustier and $220 Golden Age Pant a little over a week ago.
The assortment features seven designs right now, though there’s no telling whether or not there will be more to come this Summer and down the line.
Fur slides were never on my radar until Rihanna released her Puma x Fenty collection. Once those sold out within the blink of an eye, designers followed suit and began to make their own versions. Today’s Bomb Product of the Day are the $49 Zara Faux Fur Slides:
The flat contrasting color slingback sandals feature a tricolor faux fur detail on the vamp. With the sole lined in black velvet, these slides are guaranteed to be comfortable.
Chic footwear for a casual stroll through the city or running a few errands.
Actress Anne Hathaway was on hand for the Hollywood premiere of her new film Alice Through the Looking Glass while uplifting a Christopher Kane Fall 2016 Striped Floral Detail Off-the-Shoulder Mini Dress and Christian Louboutin x Jonathan Saunders PVC Ankle Strap Sandals.
The new mom was all-smiles as she greeted fans and waved to the cameras upon her arrival.
Her breathtaking frock boasts bold floral appliques, an off-the-shoulder feature and a sleek silhouette.
Although her exact look wasn’t showcased on the runway, Christopher Kane did debut a few similar designs which include similar stripes and (of course) the in-your-face florals.
Interesting!
Check the footwork! Her Christian Louboutin x Jonathan Saunders PVC Ankle Strap Sandals were the perfect accent to her whimsical ensemble. Unfortunately, these lovelies aren’t available for purchase yet.
Today’s #BombBlogger is a little special. I discovered this young woman through one of my followers via Instagram (heeeeyyy Karen!)! As most of you may already know, I’m always asking for suggestions regarding up-and-coming fashionistas; therefore, when Sharlene-Monique of Be Uniquely You was directed to me, I knew she would be an excellent pick for our feature.
Not too soon after Karen reached out to me, I received an inquiry email from Sharlene herself which read:
“I launched my blog in March 2015 because I’m very passionate about empowering and inspiring women and young adults. I spent many years from my teens into my twenties struggling with who I was, and now because I have overcome it, I want to help others. I blog about self confidence, my relationships and fashion…“
Initially, I already had a potential blogger in mind for today’s article but (after perusing this style maven’s site) I found myself immediately smitten by her contagious smile and her unparalleled elegance.
Sharlene-Monique’s style is chock full of color, vibrant prints and endless plays on texture. This fashionista’s wardrobe staples include a classic leather moto jacket, statement-making eyewear and tons of shine (c’mon sequins!). I also find it refreshing that she always discovers a way to let her personality shine through her outfits. It’s clear that she knows what she likes and she sticks to it. You better glo, girl!
Slay on, hun!

It was all about prints for Lupita Nyong’o at the 61st Annual Obie Awards. For the occasion, she slipped on a Prada Multicolor Pleated Dress:
I couldn’t pinpoint Lupita’s exact dress on the runway, but it seems to be a mashup of a few styles: namely the prints shown on the Spring 2014 Menswear runway and the silhouette of a dress from Fall of the same year.
The hair choice is a bit distracting from the showstopping dress, but the look is gorgeous otherwise!
Sarah Jessica Parker channeled her inner Carrie Bradshaw while attending The New School’s 2016 Parsons Event in a Valentino Fall 2016 Transparent Plastic Studded Maxi Dress, a navy crewneck tee and shimmery footwear.
The eccentric number was presented on the runway with a black turtleneck and leather leggings.
The same pieces were also shown in an alternative ensemble with the eye-catching dress serving as an underlying piece. Neat, huh?!
Honestly, I wouldn’t expect anything less from Sarah Jessica Parker! She’s all about taking risks and it’s always a delight to see her shut it down. Oddly, I’m feeling it!
June Ambrose attended the Parsons Benefit last night, donning a $1,340 No. 21 Pre-Fall 2016 Exaggerated Bow tie dress, Tom Ford black clutch and $650 Marco De Vincenzo black ‘Braided’ heels:
The dress was originally sported down the Pre-Fall 16 runway, donning a simple ‘little black dress’ appeal with an exaggerated metallic silver bow as an accent.
June then paired the stand out dress with equally impressive Marco de Vincenzo black braided sandals, so appropriately named for the braided velvet material that goes across the foot.
This is a winner in my book! Then again, June never gets it wrong, huh?
Her black heavyweight stretch knit dress boasts a scoop neckline, sleeveless silhouette, cut-away shoulders, midi length, lace-up front, and gold-tone metal eyelets and drawstring toggles.
Her black suede boots feature peep-toe fronts, lace-up detailing, zipped sides, and 4.3″ metallic stiletto heels.
