This black Alexander McQueen jacquard short tier dress is a seductive piece from the label’s Resort 2016 collection, which displayed a mix of both old and new. This intricate silk-blend dress features thin black straps, a fitted bodice complete with boning, built in bra construction, organza layering throughout the skirt and a back zip fastening. Green and pale purple embroidery has been worked into the dress which grows in size towards the hem.

 A fitting choice for a charitable occasion, the dainty embroidery and slightly modest length offset this black frock.  But at $2,395 is it worth the splurge?  Well, Paula seems to think so. Should your wallets agree as well, you can shop the dress here.

When A$AP Rocky makes a move, it seems the whole world stops to pay attention. The same week the artist’s capsule collection with J.W. Anderson went on sale, Rocky has now been named as one of the newest faces of Dior Homme.

Few should be surprised by the sartorial risings of A$AP Rocky, who immediately took the men’s fashion world by storm and is now seen sitting front row at some of the most prominent fashion shows around the world. His fashion accolades are quite impressive, ranging from his campaign with Guess Jeans to his collaboration with Jeremy Scott.

Speaking to WWD, Dior Homme creative director Kris Van Assche said, “I really like (A$AP Rocky’s) personal style and taste. He’s a real fashion lover. He feels like fashion really influences his own work, and he has strong opinions on that.”

Van Assche’s new campaign also features a number of other rising stars across several creative fields — Kids filmmaker Larry Clark, French actor Rod Paradot and model Dylan Roques.

“I mean, it’s dope when you can mix it. It’s all about taking two worlds like streetwear and high-end and kind of mashing them together,” A$AP Rocky told WWD about his latest collaboration.“But when it comes to Dior, it’s just prestige and elegance in my opinion. It’s almost like Coco Chanel was for the lady.”

Though we frequently delve into the world of #BlackGirlMagic here, it is always heartwarming to give our Bombers of the world some love too. Rocky is the first person of color to become a face for Dior Homme, plus he is always a frequent reminder that fashion no longer has just one aesthetic, look, or face.

If you haven’t noticed, Adetoun can rock a bomb pair of pants! Lawwwddd! I mean, she can dress them up, dress them down and still make them look good. This style maven also has a taste for killer designer kicks, eye-catching bags and eccentric hair. I also adore this #BombBlogger’s effortless ability in turning even the simplest of pieces into some of the most glamorous accents!
