Muva Rose has always been one pretty fly gal. Over the years we’ve watched Amber Rose grow from model to video vixen to entrepreneur, muse to girlfriend to wife, and party gal to mother.
While we’ve watched Amber Rose take on a variety of roles over the years, we couldn’t help but delve into her style choices and her evolution over the years! Plus, she definitely puts on for all the curvy girls out there!
Amber Rose has always been a natural beauty, sporting her blonde buzz cut and curvy frame as part of her marketed aesthetic. Her style has always been pretty simple, however, she shows us that simple certainly doesn’t mean basic!
Even in her Kanye days (which was how many of us learned about the statuesque beauty), Amber’s approach to fashion was simple, clean, and form-fitting. One thing that Amber has constantly shown us over the years is if you’ve got it, flaunt it! Her natural ‘party girl’ and edgy look have always been spotted in her style, where the majority of her day to day looks might include leggings, moto jacket and a poppin’ pair of sunshades.
Though her style has definitely changed over the years, Amber continues to remain true to what she knows rocks for her and her body. Colorful looks, stepping up her designer wares, and sporting her simple-yet-chic style, Amber Rose is definitely a fun one when it comes to the fun world of fashion.

Taraji P. Henson picked up The Lucy Award for Excellence in Television at the Women in Film 2016 Crystal + Lucy Awards. For the occasion, she slipped on a Marc Jacobs Fall 2016 Black Leather Embellished Ruched Dress:
Taraji eschewed the runway’s striped socks and sky-high platforms for simple black pumps that let the showstopping dress play centerstage.
On the fence about the dress, but her hair and makeup were on point! And no one is more deserving this year of this award.

*And you know Taraji gives a great speech! In it, she addressed the gender pay gap stating, “If I do a job just as well as a man, people tune-in every week, they see me, they root for me just like they root for him—why should my pay be less?”
She also implored all the women in the audience to have each other’s backs and stand up for one another. “We’re all we got ladies. If we don’t support each other who will?”

Taking advantage of the sunny weather in New York City, Chanel Iman was snapped shopping it up in SoHo in a $372 For Love & Lemons ‘Mia’ Peach Maxi Dress.
This nylon-blend peach colored number features vine like, white embroidery throughout, elevating its ethereal appeal.Its sheer mesh panels and lack of lining makes this frock ere on the sexy side, but is offset by a modest length and flowing silhouette. Chanel Iman always manages to look effortless, even when she’s not all glammed up or sauntering down the red carpet in the finest designer duds. But is her summertime frock worth the $372? Heidi Klum was spotted in NYC in the same $845 Stella McCartney Stretch Denim Overalls both Jourdan Dunn and Hilary Duff have already worn:
Heidi paired the denim all-in-one with $139 Michael Kors Playa Norte Sunglasses and a Birkin. A white t-shirt and Adidas kicks were Jourdan Dunn’s accents. And last, but not least was Hilary who wore it similarly to Heidi with no top underneath.
The 70’s-inspired overalls feature snap-fastening shoulder straps, a fitted bodice, wide legs, and pressed creases.
All three ladies looked cute!

The beautiful and pregnant Kerry Washington stopped by Washington, D.C. to attend the Wonen’s summit clad in a white Hugo Boss Fall 2016 dress, $760 Maje Bonnielace-lined leather jacket and $995 Christian Louboutin ‘Pyrabubble’ Heels:
Originally seen down the runway, Kerry’s dress sports a beautiful sleeveless component while also exposing a flowey hemline.
Her covetable moto jacket is made of lambskin leather, features a small high neck collar, shoulder tabs and lapels with press studs. Chic and definitely rocker girl friendly!
Lastly, her ‘Pyrabubble’ louboutins sport a 2.75″ heel, are embellished with goldtone and gunmetal-tone pyramid studs, and feature ankle straps and an open toe.
Ya’ll know I love me some Kerry Washington and she wears pregnancy so well! I also am in full support of this outfit choice, though I don’t have the coinage for it (yet).

Ayesha and Stephen Curry are known for far more than whipping in the kitchen and throwing the perfect shot. The Curry’s have been making waves in fashion, and we have one woman from the sixth side to thank. Meet, Sheraine Robinson, 25 year old Toronto native, and wardrobe stylist to Golden State Warrior Stephen Curry.
Not only is Sheraine Steph’s stylist, she’s also wardrobe stylist for his wife, Ayesha, who just released a baby mocassin line in collaboration with Freshly Picked. We had the chance to catch up with the Sheraine during the finals, one of the most busy times in the NBA, to give you tips on how she broke into fashion.
She says, “I got into fashion seriously when I was in high school. People would always comment (good and bad) about the outfits I put together. Soon people started asking me to help them find outfits. That’s when I knew there was something there.”She explains that she knew fashion was for her at a very young age, “As a child, I was always pretty vocal about what I wanted to wear.”
The budding stylist attended University of Carleton as a psychology major. Eventually, Sheraine’s love for fashion lead her to her dream occupation. She practices the art of mixing high and low pieces to create the perfect ensemble. Sheraine describes her personal style as, “Versatile; I never stick to one trend. I literally just wake up and put on whatever I feel matches my mood that day. I’m the girl in the club wearing sneakers one day, and then a bomb pair of heels the next. I get dressed up some days and I’m not even going anywhere. It really just depends on how I feel!”
Sheraine cites June Ambrose as one of her style influences, “I’ve always called her my fashion fairy Godmother. [I’m also feeling Rihanna’s style.] I love the carefree ‘do what I want’ attitude she has when it comes to her style.”
She discovered her love for fashion as a child, studied psychology in college, and she chooses ensembles based on her mood. So, how did she land a gig styling one of the best basketball players in the league? “Knowing Ayesha for many years, she’s watched as I’ve gone through the motions of turning my love of fashion into a career and lifestyle. After starting out doing closet revamps, about a year ago the opportunity was presented to me to be their stylist.” Currently Sheraine works solely with the Curry’s. What a client’s dream it must be to have a stylist all to themselves!
Sheraine describes the Curry’s personal style as young and fresh, she says, “They stay pretty true to themselves, but are still open minded to try new things.”
Styling isn’t all glitz and glam, just like every other occupation! The job has its downsides, like hauling a dozen bags down the street! In reference to the best/worst parts about being a fashion stylist, Sheraine offers, “I can honestly say that every part of my job is the best, I’ve been blessed to be able to do something I love, see places I’ve never seen, and many people don’t get that opportunity. The most exciting parts for me would be the fitting process, and then seeing the actual looks in motion. The worst part for me right now would be carrying heavy garment and shopping bags! I always think about how funny I must look walking down the street with what seems like a thousand bags sometimes. I’m still pretty fresh in the game, so I’m sure that may or may not change in the future!”
In terms of advice for aspiring stylists, she says, “Network, It’s really a major part of the industry. Be resilient, always work towards your goal. Intern and/or job shadowing, hands on experience is priceless!”
There is nothing more rewarding to a stylist than a client that understands their vision, and trusts their stylist enough to know they’ll never steer them wrong.
