Vanessa Simmons and Trina were recently spotted rocking the same hot pair of embellished turquoise peep toes:
Vanessa wore hers as an accent to her American Apparel Chambray Jumpsuit for a birthday celebration in NYC. Trina went for the jumpsuit route as well, but opted for a much tighter catsuit in all black set off by an onslaught of cascading chains and stacked bracelets.
Both women brought their own distinct style, but who wore it better?
I like Vanessa’s take better. She let the shoes speak for themselves… Trina is doing a lil’ too much.
I can’t believe that I’m typing this but I think Trina wore it better.
Vanessa’s outfit looks a bit helter skelter while Trina’s outfit highlights the shoes and her stacked bracelets ensure the shoes do not have to stand alone. I don’t love the necklace though.
I think Trina’s outfit put a better spotlight on the shoes, BUT that catsuit is NOT the bizness. Imma need her to find a skinny jean ASAP.
I like Vanessa’s outfit tho, but I think she needed a different shoe.

I love both styles…it proves how versatile the shoes are.
I think Vanessa did them justice although the American Apparel fit seemed thrown together- Trina makes these Christian Dior Cruise shoes stand out a little more against the all black fit.

Vanessa. I think she made her outfit simple enough to make the shoes the highlight of the outfit which worked perfect. Trina i just think that “catsuit” is a little too tight for my liking. but to each his own.
I do like how Trina’s outfit highlights the shoes. So I *reluctantly* choose Trina. I love Vanessa. and I want Trina to STOP wearing those “You don’t know Na’nn” leggings from ’95. *sigh*

I think that Trina def got it wit the all black catsuit, Vanessa is trippin with the vintage, baggy jumper that has NOTHING to do with those shoes AT ALL. Trina has NEVER looked ghetto, she comes out and shocks and surprises with her fabulous fashion style and unique approach to sexy. TRINA IS DA BADDEST B*TCH, GET OVER IT!!
