Red Carpet Fashion Awards noted that Rihanna and Beyonce seem to be taking style notes from each other, sporting Matthew Williamsom’s gathered leather coat on different occasions:
Rihanna fashioned the coat into a dress for an NYC outing late last month while Beyonce chose to rock the trench with a dress and wedge heels.

Ok – here it goes: They both look nice; however Ri rocked it best because she is a risky dresser whereas Beyonce played it safe.
Ri gave the coat a versatile look by wearing it as a dress. Whereas, Beyonce wore it as a coat – any body would do that!

I do think Rihanna wins b/c she made the coat a dress & it looks good, not stupid. Beyonce wore it like anyone else so Rihanan gets the extra points.

I think they both look stunning in the coat, but I would have to agree with everyone that Rihanna looks the best. It’s more daring. But I would wear it like Beyonce myself as I like to play it safe myself.
