So I was sooo excited to find out The Fashion Bomb won Judges’ Vote for Best Style & Fashion Blog in the Black Weblog Awards!!!

Yes!!!

I was in the middle of watching The September Issue (which I LOVED!) when I received the news via twitter.

All I can say is: THANK YOU. I started the Fashion Bomb as a personal tribute to style three years ago, and nothing feels better than when your efforts are acknowledged!

THANK YOU to the Fashion Bomb team, Adriana, Vuitton, and Eileen, for all your hard work, creativity, and commitment. THANK YOU to my friends and fam for supporting me, offering critiques, and holding me down! And THANK YOU to all my fabulous Bombshells out there reading.

Also, shout out to my fierce and fabulous fellow finalists: Christian from Fresher than Chris, Rae and Gabriel from Stuff Fly People Like, my girls from Black Girl with Long Hair, and popular vote winner, Mane & Chic.
