Seoul and Tokyo Fashion Week are happening at the same time! The former is one of my absolutely favorite cities for fashion and a brand like Bourie shows exactly why. After a smash debut last season, Eun-hye Jo returned with a sleek, modern, and monochrome collection with her expert tailoring and construction skills on display.

Stripes felt classic on button-front maxi dresses and matching skirt sets.

Suiting was strong with power-shoulder blazers, bermuda shorts, breezy trousers, and obi belt-inspired cinched waists. An element of sexiness showed through with exposed décolletage peeking from underneath the pieces’ wide-notch lapels.

Pops of blue injected color into the assortment and really spoke to our need for vibrancy after a long and harsh winter.

The assemblage proved that simplicity still packs as much of a punch as glitzier wares.

But an abstract floral print played on the season’s timeless pattern and added a sense of whimsy to the designs.

Sexy dresses—and those that could be tailored to appear as such—made the case for red carpet dressing and celebrity appeal. A white ruffle midi dress looked like just the thing for Kim Kardashian, while a peter pan collared-LBD would look phenomenal on Jennifer Lopez.
