And in preparation for my trip, I’ve done a little shopping. One of my recent purchase? Topshop’s Limited Edition Olive Green Embellished Midi Dress:

The flirty racerback dress shines with light catching sequins.


It makes a serious statement, so simple sandals are all I’d add to make this look complete.

Gotta admit, at $280, it’s a bit of a splurge for Topshop. That said, I’ve seen it in person, and it is poppin!

Rihanna was spied out on the town the other day in a Molly Goddard dress in the same $578 Aquazzura Pom Pom sandals Karrueche wore to an event in LA:

While Rihanna rocked a Phresh off the runway princess-like green dress, Karrueche went for form fitting in Topshop separates.
The playful heels are decorated with bright raffia pom-poms.

Both ladies are gorgeous, but I’m leaning towards Kae in this style showdown.

Supermodel Karlie Kloss was all smiles when she made an appearance on The Tonight Show to share a few laughs with funny man Jimmy Fallon.  The leggy blonde looked smokin’ hot while wearing a $2,073 David Koma Spring 2016 Cutout Nappa Leather and Cady Dress and $670 Gianvito Rossi Pointed Toe Black  Suede Pumps.

 This saucy number features shoulder straps and back zip closures.  The nappa leather bandeau and front and back cutouts show enough skin, but the length on Karlie’s version offsets the look with subtle modesty.Front slits with zip closures give the option to reveal even more skin, should the mood to do so strike you.  Partial cady lining and a fitted waist make for a comfortable fit on a long frame.

Her Gianvito Rossi pumps are hand finished and timeless.  These four inch heels work especially well with everything from skinny trousers to party dresses.

There’s no denying Karlie’s impeccable style.  But at almost $3,051, do you think it’s worth the splurge?

Actress Paula Patton beamed on the red carpet during the London premiere of her latest film, Warcraft: The Beginning.  A far cry from the green-skinned, battle clad Garona, the warrior heroine she plays in the movie, she showed off her newly toned physique in a $2,781 Maria Lucia Hohan Peach ‘Aveny’ Dress:

With the finale show of Britain’s Got Talent right around the corner, co-judge Alesha Dixon has been pulling out all the stops lately with her wardrobe.  From Fausto Puglisi and Mugler to Sergio Hudson, she’s had an impressive season as far as looks go.  For this week’s taping, she donned a $1,070 Dsquared2 Striped Elastic Bodycon Dress and a $1,039 pair of Pierre Hardy ‘Kaliste’ Sandals.

This Dsquared2 number features a racer front with multi straps crisscrossing at both the front and back.The full length two way front contrasting zip closure offers ease of entry and an additional pop of color.  Front and back cutouts up the ante in terms of sexiness.  If co-judge David Walliams is ogling her Pierre Hardy sandals, we can see why.  Pierre Hardy’s ‘Kaliste’ sandals are made from black suede with bold yellow, pink and lilac leather straps, and are elevated with a 4.5 inch slick stiletto heel.

 Many may deem the look too distracting given the onslaught of colors.  Alesha has a complexion that compliments just about any color well, even if there’s an abundance of hues in one look. Bandage dress were big in their heyday circa 2007-2009.  But Alesha’s take on an almost decade old trend is a bold one.  Too many colors for my taste, this seems like more of a party look and not a semi-final look for one of the biggest shows on television.  But, I’m here for her gold geometric earrings, bright red lip and cornrows.
