Happy Tuesday my loves! After a long weekend down in Nola for Essence Fest, I feel so inspired to get back and get back to my bombshells! Today, we’ve got Dodos from Nigeria:
She says, “My name is Dodos and I am from Nigeria.”
“I frequently visit England though!”
“My style is Minimal, Elegant and Effortless.”
“My style is my self-expression.”
“I like to perfect a signature look and create a unique collection of simple items.”
“I am inspired my life, flowers, nature and Images.” See more photos she sent along:
WERK DODOS! I love your looks, your hints of minimalism but classiness and sass. Cute! If ya’ll want to see more of Dodos looks, head over to her Instagram: @iamdodos_style. So what do you think of her style?

Happy Tuesday, folks!
Am I alone in thinking the day after a holiday should be a holiday?!? Woo!
At any rate, yesterday, I celebrated the 4th of July with Revolve, who threw a fabulous party in the Hamptons, hosted by Chrissy Teigen.
Ms. Teigen was too busy to take pictures, though we did capture the chic style of the many lovely attendees.
Take a look:
Party Promoter Legendary Damon looked dapper in a three piece, red, white, and blue infused short suit. I just love him!
DJ @Maad_Moiselle smiled in Philosophy stripes and Missguided platforms.
Nelly Moudime was spot on in a red dress, American flag printed denim jacket, and a gorgeous Afro. Hot!
@ErinMulcahy and @Jennareyy kept it easy and breezy in sheer pieces and short hems.
Lastly, this attendee felt the 4th of July spirit! She struck a disco fever pose in a printed crop top and matching shorts. Cute!
As for me, I rocked a DSquared2 plaid shirt, Topshop shorts, and Prada sandals that got woefully dirty in the grass:/
After we took pix, we enjoyed a Bomb performance by Jeremih:
It was lots of fun and I’m inspired! I want Fashion Bomb Daily to have a Hamptons party next year! Who’s in?!?

A handful of brands have now switched the locations of their tried and true fashion shows to a different fashion capital: whether it be for a special occasion or a much-needed change of scenery. The latest to jump on that bandwagon is Akris which will show its Spring 2017 show at NYFW—a departure from its usual showing in Paris:
The change is taking place for a very good and momentous reason, as Akris’s Creative Director Albert Kriemler is receiving the Couture Council Award for Artistry in Fashion—to be celebrated at the Couture Council Luncheon, which traditionally marks the start of Fall Fashion Week in NYC.
Fergie stepped back on the music scene with a hit single that represents MILF’s across the nation. Her star-studded video, “M.I.L.F. Money”, (Mom’s I’d Like to Follow) features tons of fashion-goodness from some of pop cultures most talked about mommy’s.
Kim Kardashian, Chrissy Teigen and Ciara showed off their post baby bodies in the retro-chic themed music video. Creative director and stylist for the video B. Akerlund gave a sexy, feminine touch to the video’s wardrobe. Let’s get into some credits, shall we?
Riri was spotted out a couple of nights ago in London (with Drake, no less). For the occasion, she wore a Balmain Resort 17 blue coat and dress, Dsquared2 sandals and a Dior ‘Diorama’ bag:Rihanna wore the look almost straight off the runway, removing the gold necklace from the model and adding a black lace bralette underneath.Rih finished the look off with some baby blue strappy sandals and a metallic clutch. Cute!I always love how Rihanna wears things…while I originally wouldn’t have given the look a second glance, Rih shows us how it’s done!
What do you think of Rihanna’s London look? Hot or Hmm?
The 2016 BET Awards were filled with plenty of musical surprises, including Beyonce’s shocking performance of her motivational anthem “Freedom, but the red carpet was just as equally tantilizing! First up, we have television personality/designer Nandi Mngoma who left onlookers speechless as she donned a black and white frock from her own clothing line, COLOUR. The eccentric gown features a sequin bodice and peplum detailing, sheer panels and an elegant train. She’s just so gorgeous, it’s hard not to love this!
Actress Meagan Good was also on hand for the 2016 BET Awards. The stunning 34-year old uplifted an emerald green Lorena Sarbu number that boasts a sky-high slit, a plunging neckline and double side cut-outs. She added a bit of spice to her look by incorporating shimmering metallic platforms, a berry lip and beautiful long faux locs. Hot!
R&B songbird Christina Milian has been killing it lately, no? The fashionista served major face while attending GQ’s 10th Annual Love, Sex and Madness Issue Party alongside a few of Tinseltown’s finest including John Legend, Chrissy Teigen and bestie Karrueche Tran. Christina turned heads as she flaunted a little shoulder in a strapless, gold ruffle dress by Lexi Clothing, patent leather pumps and an embellished clutch. Cute!
Our First Lady Michelle Obama, the First Daughters Sasha and Malia and the FLOTUS’s mother Marian Shields Robinson traveled to Morocco earlier this week to promote the Let Girls Learn initiative which motivates young girls to attain a quality education to ensure that they reach their full potential. For the occasion, the lovely ladies attended the traditional Iftar dinner with Princess Lalla Salma, Meryl Streep and other members of the Moroccan royal family. Our fashionable First Lady chose to rock a flowy Altuzarra Fall 2016 scarf print dress, patent leather pumps and dainty curls. I’m here for it all!
Janelle Monae shut it down at the 2016 BET Awards! The songstress delivered one of the most energetic (and memorable) performances of the evening as she belted out “I Would Die For You”, “Kiss” and “Pop Life” in the highly-anticipated Prince tribute. She had the entire audience on their feet grooving to every beat and it was beyond amazing! But, prior to hitting the stage, all eyes were on the style maven as she made her grand entrance in a Sass and Bide striped sequin suit, gold accessories and her signature wide brim hat. Let’s face it, no one can rock black and white like she can. Werk!
Taraji P. Henson tended to her duties as a presenter for the 2016 BET Awards while slaying in a sheer Steven Khalil embellished pencil skirt, a strapless black bodysuit and delicate ankle strap sandals. While the actress’s choice of attire received mixed reviews via Instagram, she garnered a resounding 10,000 likes! It was clear that our followers were feeling her risky ‘fit and it was easily labeled as one of the evening’s faves. If you ask me, she looks fantastic!
