Self Portrait‘s intricately woven dresses have been worn the world over by quite a few of our favorite celebs.  So it’s no surprise that Power star Naturi Naughton was snapped in this $520 Tiered Guipere Black Lace Mini Dress while at a press event for the show on the weekend. She posed between her co-stars, 50 Cent, who executive produces the show, and lead actor Omari Hardwick, while slaying with boxer braids and a pair of Stuart Weitzman ‘Nudist’ Sandals.But a few weeks ago, Jennifer Lopez also rocked the same fabulous frock during the final show of Broadway’s Hamilton in New York City.Slay-Lo also brought the heat with shimmering plum lips, a high ponytail, and strappy sandals to vamp up her look.And back in January, actress Lucy Liu glowed on the red carpet of the Kung Fu Panda 3 Hollywood Premiere wearing this dress. She opted for a side part with minimal makeup, black suede T-strap pumps, and gave a pop of color with her red clutch.

With its Victorian-inspired neckline, long sleeves and tiered skirt, it’s not hard to see why this dress is loved by so many.  Exuding femininity and sexiness with the use of guipere lace, this dress features lining for coverage underneath. Unfortunately, this dress is such a hot commodity, it’s sold out *cue sad violins*.  But if you want to spy other options, you can take a look here.  So, would you wear?

‘Basketball Wives LA’ starlet Malaysia Pargo looked absolutely fierce on Instagram while donning a $91 House of CB ‘Martella’ Khaki Canvas Skirt, a sensual cutout bralet and gold-embellished heels. But, the gorgeous Draya Michele first rocked the piece while hitting the streets of Los Angeles. The fashionista paired her version with a seamless stretch bodysuit from the brand, a leather choker and killer Tom Ford sandals.

The ‘Martella’ houses a pencil cut, a peplum waist, a full length back zipper and a clean silhouette. You can style this little number in so many ways: add a tank top, a sleek button down, an off-the-shoulder stunner… I mean, the versatility is endless! I’m leaning more towards Draya’s laid-back take on the skirt. I’m in love with the choker trend and her sandals are the accent for this luxe piece.

Rihanna struck a quick pose for the ‘Gram while uplifting an off-the-shoulder ‘Katja’ Bustier by Fortie Label, embellished round sunnies, a pair of $3,995 Rihanna x Manolo Blahnik ‘9 to 5’ Thigh-High Denim Belted Boots and loads of accessories.

The eccentric top features oversized sleeves, a relaxed fit and stretch cotton detailing. And, it looks great when styled with denim cutoffs!

The songstress also slipped into a couple of her own designs! And, the Rihanna x Manolo Blahnik ‘9 to 5’ Thigh-High Denim Belted Boots are quite the statement-makers. These luxurious kicks boast an almond toe, a 4.5-inch stiletto heel finished with embroidered sequin trim and a jewel-buckled waist belt. Interested in splurging? Cop your own here!

As I examine this ensemble, half of me absolutely loves it. But, the other half is like “What’s going on here?” So, I guess I’m torn on this one. In other news, the boots are life!

Our Instagram followers were on fire after we posted this on social media! We got threats of being “unfollowed” and we were even called “tasteless” but, we couldn’t help but recall another instance where we asked the question “Who Wore It Better?” while featuring Blac Chyna and our Editor-in-Chic Claire Sulmers in another House of CB creation. No one had anything to say then…

With that, I’m moving forward with this post. I just believe that there is an issue with the contenders themselves rather than the dress. Tough. Anywho, Blac Chyna was spotted while out and about in House of CB‘s Santina Champagne Velvet Thigh Split Dress but let’s not forget that style maven Kylie Jenner also rocked it before in a past appearance on the Ellen DeGeneres Show.

The form-fitting piece feature a high neck design and a nipped waist. It also boasts a center thigh split that showcases a little leg.

And, honestly, I don’t like the dress on Blac Chyna nor do I care for it on Kylie. I’m not sure if it’s the material or the overall look but it’s a no for me. On both ends.

Karrueche the cutie stepped out in celebration of Kylie Jenner’s 19th birthday wearing a $128 Brian Lichtenberg Prince Bones Hoodie and $995 Yeezy Season 2 High Knit Boots:

The over sized purple hoodie features an image of Prince in a skull and bones design.

Karrueche’s beige, tall, stretch-knit boots features an elasticized collar, almond peep toe and a cut-out accent at heel counter.

The over sized sweaters and thigh high boots trend doesn’t work for everyone, yet I love it on Karrueche.

Though this up and coming makeup mogul/reality starlet’s nineteenth birthday isn’t until August 10th, Kylie Jenner prowled through a throng of paparazzi and started celebrations early at LA hotspot The Nice Guy last night. She showed off her sexy side in a $1,960 Balmain Sheer Arabesque Jacquard Knit Jumpsuit and a pair of $700 Valentino ‘Fusion 100’ Lace and Leather Court Pumps. This long-sleeved jacquard jumpsuit, though ornately patterned, is unlined and sheer, which leaves little to the imagination.  A ribbed collar, cuffs and hem accompanied with a black and gold rear zip enclosure offer a slight break in texture and a means for getting in and out of it easily.Kylie continued the lace motif with a lacy pair of Valentino pumps.

This slip on, lace and leather pump exudes sexiness and utter femininity.  This four inch heel features a pointed toe and a lace floral lace upper.
