Happy Friday, everyone!
Yesterday, I touched down in Baltimore, Maryland, to attend the National Urban League conference. Because the conference is sponsored by Toyota (and I’m a Toyota ambassador), I was invited to cover the festivities and speak! Yesterday, I joined Prudential Senior Vice President and Strategy and Chief Marketing Officer Dorinda Walker, BET’s President of Broadcast media Sales Louis Carr, Strategic Group’s Associate Vice President Aria Wright, and BET Senior Vice President Michele Thornton for a talk about millenials and building a presence in a digital landscape.
On it, we offered tips on how to successfully navigate ones career, from seeking mentorship and dressing the part to working hard and going over and above!
For the occasion, I wore a Zara top, Raoul skirt, and Prada sandals.
I accessorized with Dior sunglasses.
At any rate, today Pierre and I are gonna kick back just a bit, then hit the Convention Center for even more street style. Stay tuned to this space and Instagram for even more chic from the National Urban League conference!
Smootches!

Happy Friday Folks!
We’re one day away from Cocktails with Claire Atlanta! But before I fly Down South, Pierre and I were commissioned to cover the fashionable aspects of the National Urban League Conference in Baltimore, Maryland. We hit the Convention Center, looking for Street Chic.
Check out what we found:
Life Coach Dee C Marshall looked absolutely lovely in a printed skirt from Boutique 316 and Christian Louboutin peep toe pumps. Yes, red lip!
Blogged Dayne Dayne rocked a Boohoo blazer, Nordstrom shorts, and Call it Spring heels.
The Boss Network’s Cameka Smith looked pretty in purple, prints, and pink Valentino shoes.
Fashion Bomb reader Melissa also had purple on the menu, via a slick pencil skirt, which she paired with a white vest, black top, and heels.
Lastly, Fashion Bomb enthusiast (and aspiring stylist) Natasha worked all black and chunky sandals. Cute!
Later on that night, we got gussied up for a Toyota Dinner at the Four Seasons…
Publicist extraordinaire Kim Blackwell is the bomb! Get into her Tom Ford Dress, Valentino sandals, and Cartier jewelry. Slay on!
Lastly, we had to give the fellas some love! @IncognitoVirgo looked well pressed in a suit and a snazzy button down.
Hot! We’re on the scene again today, with an eye out for style.
Who had your favorite look?

To culminate our Atlanta week, we’re featuring a Fab Several Time Fashion Bomber, David from the A (formerly from Massachusetts):
He says, “I recently graduated from Boston University in May. I am now figuring out the next phase in my life pursuing a marketing career in the fashion/retail industry.”
“I am having a ton of fun with menswear whether that be wearing a pink suit or playing around with fabrics such as a silk shirt.”
” I am enjoying summer and all the different types of adventures that come with it.”
” I love having my outfits reflect and mirror the setting and journeys that I take.”
” Recently I became a Brand Ambassador for Schwinn Bikes.”
” You will notice two of my pictures have my favorite toy (bike) in them. Whether I am riding my cares away or sailing the waters fashion is always a way to feel like 007.”
” Among all my outfits my favorite outfit has got to be my cap and gown!
“I hope these pictures fit the description that would qualify me to be placed in the running as a fashion bomber. I was fortunate enough to be featured in the past. Hopefully these new pictures show another angle of my style. As always thank you Claire and the incredible FBD team for giving me the fashion news that I love. My instagram name is @doublelowe7.”
Hey David! Fab pix! Thanks for the support and I hope to see you tomorrow at Cocktails with Claire!

How To Get Away With Murder star Karla Souza took to the Disney ABC Television Group TCA Summer Press Tour in a Michael Kors Collection Fall 2016 Black Metallic Floral Embroidered Brocade Dress:
NeNe Leakes is no stranger to many of us as far as television is concerned. Getting her start on reality TV with The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Nene used her breakout star status to her advantage. From Dancing With The Stars to primetime sitcoms, from Broadway to comedy show tours and even operating as the driving force behind her eponymous HSN clothing line, NENE by NeNe Leakes, there’s no stopping NeNe. We’ve watched her as the years progressed, and it’s safe to say her style has evolved exponentially, right along with her repertoire
In the early years, NeNe sported darker, longer hair with subtle honey blonde highlights, usually rocking halter satin dresses or oversized knits during her casual days. Since then, she’s upgraded her look ten fold by downsizing her mane to a beach blonde bob. NeNe’s also traded in those printed cotton frocks, costume jewelry and hardly any makeup to a full on glam squad and some serious designer duds. Not to mention how much of a fan of diamonds she’s become.
She rode into diva territory and took no prisoners as soon as the likes of Hervé Léger, Christian Louboutin, Tom Ford, Chanel and Hèrmes appeared in her wardrobe. While every day may not be a day to wear expensive gowns that sweep across the floor, NeNe stills dolls it up in casual outfits, bringing together a chic blazer, distressed jeans, a designer tote, and fierce heels.
But when it’s time for red carpet appearances and galas, this “Glam-ma” lives for couture and all things designer. From Lela Rose to Givenchy and Pedram Couture, she’s definitely become one to watch as the cameras flicker.
Not one to back down from a verbal spat, this fiery Atlanta native shows no signs of slowing down, especially not in the style department. So, let’s peruse the gallery above and witness her style evolve.
