Today’s Fashion Bombshell of the Day is reppin’ for the A. Meet Dionne:
She writes, “My name is Dionne, also known as the Closet Whisperer! I am a fashion blogger based in Atlanta and I’d like to be featured as a fashion bombshell.”
“I’d say my style is a mix between current & classic. I don’t necessarily gravitate towards trends per say. However, If I see something I like & it fits me well, then I’ll wear it.“
“I love clean lines, understated accessories, & every now & then i’ll throw in something that pops. I, also, love dresses and a good suit too.“

This time around, Kourtney complemented the sandals with Saint Laurent shades and $99 J Brand Maria jeans. In March, she wore Unravel Black Skinny Lambskin Leather Pants and an on-trend dad hat.
The sandals boast sky-high 5″ heels, fur trim, and buckled ankle straps.
With all the attention current Presidential Candidates are receiving (both positive and unwelcome in their respects), some homage must be paid to one of the most successful and well-loved Presidents of the United States and his First Lady, Barack and Michelle Obama, as their departure from The White House is looming over our heads. Actress and producer Tika Sumpter took heed and is set to play the leading lady in new film Southside With You (produced by John Legend and her) hitting theaters this Friday. Playing mean girl Raina Thorpe on The CW’s hit show Gossip Girl to troubled soul Jenna Rice on BET’s The Game to her current role as devious temptress Candace Young on OWN’s The Haves and the Have Nots, Tika has proven she has the acting chops: not being limited to the small screen since she’s also been in block buster films Sparkle, Ride Along and its sequel. But what draws us in even further is how stunning a woman she is.With deep ebony tones, Tika knows exactly what works for her complexion. While some pictures may lead you to believe she plays it safe with makeup, others will have you in awe. Any person knows the foundation (no pun intended) for a great beat is a perfect canvas. Even sans maquillage, she still glows. I mean, does she have bottled water running through her pipes? If not, we need her beauty regimen, stat! And the gorgeousness only continues from there. Tika loves a nude palette and focuses on highlighting with deep golden tones while demonstrating a muted shade on her pout. Every now and then, she livens things up with a ravishing matte red lip, adding a touch allure to any look.
Tika likes to take things even further, introducing prominent pink shades to frame her gleaming grin, while warming her cheeks with a subtle tint.
Even in costume wearing 1920’s garb and as Queen Nefetertiti, she slays in brooding reds and deep plums accompanied by expertly applied eye shadow to widen her gaze.
Not only is her mug always on point, but so is her hair. No matter the style, it’s always flawless. From tight curly tresses to precise blunt bobs and long, bone straight ponytails, nary a strand sits out of place when it comes to this beauty. Edges? Present!
But best of all, she’s adding one of the most important roles to her résumé: mom. That’s right. The actress is pregnant with her first child, and looks phenomenal. So here’s to this week’s Beauty Crush Wednesday, Tika Sumpter! We wish her success with her upcoming film, future projects and on her new journey toward motherhood! What say you? Do you love Tika Sumpter as much as we do?
Happy Wednesday, Bombers and Bombshells!
We have soooo many exciting things going on behind the scenes, including taping several episodes of Fashion Bomb TV! Yesterday I had the distinct pleasure of sitting down and chatting with Nigerian Bombshell and singing sensation Tiwa Savage.
Referred to by some as the Beyoncé of Africa, Tiwa’s musical repertoire contains a slew of robust hits, including Kele Kele Love, African Waist, Eminado, and many more (each of which counts millions of views on YouTube):
Savage recently signed with RocNation with the goal of bringing African music to the world (Africa to the World!). I sat down with her yesterday to discuss music, inspiration, and style!
In addition to her art, Tiwa is known for her scintillating on stage outfits, bold video ensembles, and chic red carpet looks.
Isn’t she bomb? After our interview, we posed on Lenny S aka @KodakLens‘s golden couch for one of his signature polaroids.
The interview was lots of fun. Can’t wait to show you guys!
We still have a few video recaps of Cocktails with Claire x Miss Diddy LA to post this week; our interviews will go up next week!
Until then, are you familiar with Tiwa? Are you a fan of her songs?
