Rowland, 42, made quite the scene at designer Rahul Mishra runway show in an elaborate white and silver organza bow dress that was impeccably embroidered with a sequin tiger, and embellished florals.

Underneath her adorned bow was a black form-fitting corset underpinning, and a black sequin mini skirt that showcased her exceptional physique.

Rahul Mishra has made serious waves as a designer, being one of the first Indian designers to showcase his collection at Paris Haute Couture Week, and has since gained an international following.

Perhaps one of the best aspects of Rowlands look styled by, Wilfordlenov was her breathtaking glam by makeup artist Sheika Daley and hairstylist, @JStayReady that felt like Kelly circa 1999 when she was a member of Destiny Child.

It’s safe to say that this is one of Kelly Rowland’s best looks thus far, and if this is any indication of what’s to come later this year, then may praise be upon her.

Givenchy Blesses Paris Fashion Week with Parisienne Minimalism and a Nod to Aubrey Hepburn

Classic yet unconventional. Timeless yet en vogue and current. A breath of fresh air sans reinventing the wheel. All words and phrases encompass Matthew M. Williams’ latest outing for Givenchy.

Sharp wide-shoulder tailoring has a strong presence within this collection. A Williams’s staple complemented with notch lapels and peak collars. The sleek blazers ––thoughtfully constructed out of in-house wool and leather–– created a powerful juxtaposition alongside the lineup’s plentiful eveningwear. Silk topcoats varying in soft pastels to bold jewel tones layer over sheer dresses and skirts. A delightfully tasteful contrast in texture, color, and proportions.

These days, it seems less is certainly more. With the introduction of “quiet luxury” and her trendy little cousin “vanilla girl“, paired back looks are having a major moment. Cue then Givenchy Creative Director Matthew M. Williams, who sent a splendor of Parisian minimalism down the runway for Spring 2024.

The show opened with a monochrome look of black and white. An outspread double-breasted blazer paired with a knee-length black skirt over a white crewneck blouse and styled with high-denier nylons, ankle strap pumps, and a wavy wire headband. An instant look at a modern take on a classic and the perfect foreshadowing for the well-executed tailoring and refined details that followed.

High jewelry makes a strong appearance too. A nod to the brand’s recent collab with Tiffany & Co. came down the runway in Audrey Hepburn references (the unwavering jewelry house’s muse) with bow-adorned opera gloves and a variation of Hepburn’s iconic LBD by Givenchy. The Spring 2024 variant features a slim keyhole cut-out and frontal skirt slit.

Diamond-crusted ear cuffs and hoop earrings, floral and buckle embellished bags, and dangling pearl rings round out the collection, inserting an air of effortless everyday glamor.

Rick Owens Distinctively Debuts his Dark and Gothic “LIDO” Collection during Paris Fashion Week

Dark, gothic and edgy with a touch of avant-garde, the Dark Lord of fashion, Rick Owens has done it again with his elaborate display of high fashion grunge.

Attendees gathered around the customary stage at Palais de Tokyo with neon pink and yellow fog filling the sky as models walked around the garden in the most demonic and iconic silhouettes.

Inspired by Icelandic Artist, Björk who’s concert he attended earlier in September, Owen’s collection was a symbolism of hope.

I went to a Björk concert earlier this month, and her intelligent, life affirming energy made me kind of embarrassed of my own mopey adolescent pessimism…and hers wasn’t a Disney escapist obliviousness, but a concerned and thoughtful trust in moving forward. She expressed hope,” said Owens.

We saw hope shine through with Owens advancement of color from dark to light throughout his collection, along with the flower pedals that fell from the sky.

From black on black ensembles paired with sheer face masks and motorcycles jackets that had over-exaggerated and pointed lapels, to soft pink blush asymmetrical dresses styled with bright mustard colored gloves, Owens crafted his LIDO collection with an architectural eye.

We saw Owens mix chiffon, sheer and leather fabrics into unconventional designs and when it came down to accessorizing, he introduced his latest platform heel with thick straps featured across the front that complimented his signature square toe.

Models got into full character with their eyes blacked out for an eerie and dramatic aesthetic to carry out the dark theme.

As the show progressed with ultra saturated shades, Owens was nonrestricted when it came to innovative and fresh shapes such as the silk voluminous parachute trains on various of his garments.

If you anyone was thinking outside of the box during Paris Fashion Week, it was certainly Rick Owens who allowed attendees into the evolution of his dark and mysterious fashion world.

We definitely see hints of Rix-Ueno through the bold prints, and use of hand-painting exhibited throughout Akris Spring 2024 garments.

Kim Kardashian and North West Coordinate in Vintage Chanel for Kourtney and Travis Barker’s Baby Shower

After a lush Italia wedding, Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker are welcoming their first child together, aw!

During a Blink-182 show in June, Kardashian revealed the big news with a sign reading ‘TRAVIS, I’M PREGNANT’ a throwback to the visuals of the band’s 90’s hit All The Small Things.

The celebrity couple announced that they are expecting a baby boy this fall, and much like their wedding, their baby shower was nothing short of magical. Inspired by “the happiest place on earth,” the shower was Disneyland-themed with a Baby Barker sign resembling the park’s It’s A Small World attraction.

Fashion Bomb Reunion: The Original Members of Destiny Child Reunited at Beyonce’s Renaissance Concert in Silver Ensembles

Beyoncé’s critically-acclaimed Renaissance World Tour is coming to an end on October 1st, and what would her tour be without her original cast members making a debut over the weekend to show their support?

It still would be fabulous of course, but perhaps seeing Latoya Luckett, LaTavia Roberson, and Kelly Rowland who Beyoncé initially started Destiny Child with was a full circle ah-ha moment for the Queen who went solo in 2003 with her studio album, Dangerously in Love.

If you recall, Destiny Child first came out in 1998 with their album named after their group that was released by Columbia records. The album ended up selling over 1-million copies in the US alone and the remix to their infamous song entitled, “No, No, No” became #1 on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop single chart.

The group who reached massive success in such a short period of time ended up departing ways in 2000, with Roberson expressing to People magazine that she was in fact dismissed from the group. She discovered she was no longer in the group after the “Say My Name” video released and she and Luckett were replaced with singers Michelle Williams and Farrah Franklin.

As we all know there’s 3 sides to a story, each person’s side and then the actual truth but it looks like they have let bygones be bygones.

Luckett stayed on trend with her silver corset and black cowgirl hat, while Roberson wore a black lace embellished catsuit with dangling diamond earrings.

In addition to Luckett, Roberson and Beyoncé’s sister Kelly, Farrah Franklin and Michelle Williams also made a pitstop at the Renaissance tour to see Bey perform in all her glory.

Although Franklin only lasted in the group for a few months before personally choosing to depart, she arrived all smiles in a black two piece crystal corset and pants combo, while Williams wore a black crop top that had rhinestone fringe and was layered with a silver sequins blazer.

Rowland, who never disappoints opted for her bedazzling silver top that shined brighter then a midnight star.

It was great to see all the cast members of Destiny Child show up to the Houston leg of the Renaissance tour to show their support and admiration for Beyonce, and who knows a few years from now if like SWV and Xscape there will be a reunion.

Only time shall tell, and just in case, we may want to start saving our coins for a reunion tour.
