Revolutionary, noteworthy and unconventional would describe the Original UnBraider tool that has changed the trajectory of taking down your braids.

While many of us enjoy the beauty and convenience of getting our hair braided, we often dread the take down process which can take anywhere from hours to days. Now there is a tool that enables you to take down up to 8 braids at one time.

To alleviate and minimize such a tedious and time-consuming task, Founder Natasha Anderson created the Original UnBraider tool in 2004 to find a more effective way of taking down her daughters braids.

After taking a hiatus from her business, in 2021 Anderson’s daughter Khadija Imara stepped up to assume the role of CEO and relaunched it in February 2023 because she saw the high-demand for the UnBraider ,and knew that it could benefit our community.

“For a while weaves were in and there weren’t as many people wearing braids, but now there’s a renaissance of natural hair, and a celebration of the protective styles so I though it would be amazing to bring back a company that focuses on that,” Imara told Fashion Bomb Daily.

After releasing a video in the beginning of the year showcasing how to utilize the innovative tool, the video went viral, amassing over 4-million views and received positive feedback, calling for the need of the Original UnBraider.

“No one has a comb yet like we do to brush out braids,” expressed Imara. “The maximum amount of braids that a customer can take out using our comb is 8 braids, however the smaller the braids, the more you can get in there which is a great time reduction.”

In addition to the Original UnBraider, Imara is focused on the expansion of her business and reach, and also offers a Comb out Spray Conditioner and No Itch Shampoo which she hopes will one day be easily accessible at local retailers.

“The root of the product was to be helpful in taking down braids, but I would always like to point out that it’s a product that we wanted for our community by our community,” said Imara. “Our alliance, resources and beauty innovations are often admired by others but are not always put in the best position for us to all succeed.”

With an emphasis on community, Imara’s intentions is to serve as a catalyst and corner stone for Hair Stylist or take-down businesses to become more profitable simply with the use of a $27.99 comb.

“That my best friend, she a real bad b***h” are the lyrics to rapper Saweetie’s hit single, “Best Friend” and perhaps that song should be Kim Kardashian and Lala’s anthem song based on how often we see the two styling and profiling together.

The besties bet on black while attending a REFORM Alliance fundraiser event over the weekend hosted by Jay-Z, Meek Mill and Mark Rubin.

You know everyone came fresh to death, and dressed to impress to the Gala held at Ocean Resort Casino in Atlantic City in honor of raising funds for justice reform initiatives.

The event which amassed over 24-million in donations, was star-studded with celebs like Kevin Hart , Lil Kim, Tom Brady, Fat Joe, French Montana, and Travis Scott all making an appearance.

Lala who is single, ready to mingle, and we’re sure on a few rappers wish list, stepped out in a black Tom Ford silk and lace maxi dress that was sexy and seductive. She pulled her hair into a tight bun with her baby hair perfectly laid.

When it came down to her glam, the Queen of hosting TV opted for peachy eye shadow with a nude lip which complimented her gold statement square earrings.

Similar to Lala, Kim Kardashian wore a black sheer Alaia bodycon dress that was form fitting on the reality star turned Actress. She kept her accessories to a minimum, layering with two cross diamond necklaces, and black open toe heels.

Kardashian looked pristine and her make-up and her long hair parted down the middle was flawless. For two women on the prowl, both Kim and Lala looked like their next beaus should have a few coins in the piggy bank.

Overall, we loved how chic and sensational they both looked, and they both embodied the true essence of femininity which we were so here for.

Today marks the last day of Paris Fashion Week, and as we reflect back on all of our faves who made a sartorial and extravagant arrival, one person in particular who had us glued to our screens was singer, Kelly Rowland.

Rowland, 42, made quite the scene at designer Rahul Mishra runway show in an elaborate white and silver organza bow dress that was impeccably embroidered with a sequin tiger, and embellished florals.

Underneath her adorned bow was a black form-fitting corset underpinning, and a black sequin mini skirt that showcased her exceptional physique.

Rahul Mishra has made serious waves as a designer, being one of the first Indian designers to showcase his collection at Paris Haute Couture Week, and has since gained an international following.

Known for his remarkable hand-weaving and hand embroidery, completed by over 1000 artisans, Mishra noteworthy designs has enabled him to reach massive success.

Opting for metallic pointy toe Jimmy Choo kitten heels , Rowland’s look was tied together with black Otra eyewear and silver Eera fine jewelry.

Perhaps one of the best aspects of Rowlands look styled by, Wilfordlenov was her breathtaking glam by makeup artist Sheika Daley and hairstylist, @JStayReady that felt like Kelly circa 1999 when she was a member of Destiny Child.

It’s safe to say that this is one of Kelly Rowland’s best looks thus far, and if this is any indication of what’s to come later this year, then may praise be upon her.

Classic yet unconventional. Timeless yet en vogue and current. A breath of fresh air sans reinventing the wheel. All words and phrases encompass Matthew M. Williams’ latest outing for Givenchy.

Sharp wide-shoulder tailoring has a strong presence within this collection. A Williams’s staple complemented with notch lapels and peak collars. The sleek blazers ––thoughtfully constructed out of in-house wool and leather–– created a powerful juxtaposition alongside the lineup’s plentiful eveningwear. Silk topcoats varying in soft pastels to bold jewel tones layer over sheer dresses and skirts. A delightfully tasteful contrast in texture, color, and proportions.

These days, it seems less is certainly more. With the introduction of “quiet luxury” and her trendy little cousin “vanilla girl“, paired back looks are having a major moment. Cue then Givenchy Creative Director Matthew M. Williams, who sent a splendor of Parisian minimalism down the runway for Spring 2024.

The show opened with a monochrome look of black and white. An outspread double-breasted blazer paired with a knee-length black skirt over a white crewneck blouse and styled with high-denier nylons, ankle strap pumps, and a wavy wire headband. An instant look at a modern take on a classic and the perfect foreshadowing for the well-executed tailoring and refined details that followed.

High jewelry makes a strong appearance too. A nod to the brand’s recent collab with Tiffany & Co. came down the runway in Audrey Hepburn references (the unwavering jewelry house’s muse) with bow-adorned opera gloves and a variation of Hepburn’s iconic LBD by Givenchy. The Spring 2024 variant features a slim keyhole cut-out and frontal skirt slit.

Diamond-crusted ear cuffs and hoop earrings, floral and buckle embellished bags, and dangling pearl rings round out the collection, inserting an air of effortless everyday glamor.
