Garcelle Beauvais beamed at the premiere of SONY’s Sausage Party in the same $328 Michelle Mason Black Cutout Jumpsuit that Vanessa Williams originally sported back in June:
The runways of Michael Kors, Alexander Wang, Miu Miu, and Kanye West have re-ignited a trend that must be stopped: biker shorts.
Kim Kardashian West has been one of the trends most ardent fans, rocking cropped spandex shorts and heels with leather jackets, tees, and oversized buttons downs.
Sister Kylie wasn’t far behind, pairing a crop top and Balmain jacket with abbreviated spandex shorts.
This trend has trickled down to select street style stars…
Fashion Week darling Nausheen Shah paired biker shorts with a button down top, oversized bag, and flats.
All black works! This young lady skewed chic in an all black ensemble.
Ditto for this young London Fashion Week goer.
Hmm..while it looks aiight in some situations, I think this is one of the trends that was better left in the 80’s/90’s.
It was cool here:
Nazanin paired the piece with round shades and black thigh-highs, while Karrueche anchored the design with those coveted $994 Yeezy Season 2 Thigh-High Boots.
The oversized purple hoodie features a Prince portrait over a skull and bones motif.
Our friends at BSIDE Agency tipped me off to let us know that Sephora has lots of new bomb products on tap! From skincare to cosmetics to haircare and fragrance, there’s a lot to love!
Head over to The Bomb Life to get the scoop on some of my favorite makeup artists in the country!
An Excerpt:
So I travel a lot, and am always on the look out for Bomb makeup artists!
Lately, I’ve been taking to Snapchat to ask followers for recommendations when I visit new towns. Y’all always come through!
But in my travels, I do have my favorites in different cities. Check out my main beauty crushes from New York, D.C., Atlanta, Miami, and LA.
In no particular order…
1. New York: Camara Aunique (@CamaraAunique):
Camara is my go to makeup artist in NYC! So 99% of the time, if I’m in town, my makeup is by her!
Camara contours for the GAWDS, beats my face to oblivion, and gives me all the lashes I want.
She is the artist behind all of these bomb looks:
Latasha Wright’s client list reads like a who’s who of the Atlanta socialite scene. She does everyone’s makeup, from Kandi Burruss to Marlo Hampton to Tiny and more. Whenever Kelly Rowland pops into the A, Latasha gives her the Wright look: manicured brows, glowy skin, and loads of glamour.
Her purple french terry skirt features a maxi length, elasticized waistband, “Sexual Fantasies” text in red at the side, raw edges at the hem, silver-tone hardware, and tonal stitching.
Not my style, but Ms. Fenty can rock just about anything!
The unexpected piece boasts a halterneck feature, frayed denim accents and a unique silhouette. In the presentation, the model completed her look with simple embellished ankle strap sandals.
In addition, Amber flaunted a pair of pricey Giuseppe Zanotti’s ‘Lavinia’ Metallic Chunky Heel Sandals. The Italian footwear showcases a serious platform, an adjustable buckle ankle strap closure and a leather upper. Honestly, I’ve always loved these stunners! No matter who rocks them, they’re always the primary fixture of any outfit. Purchase your own here!
The fearless television personality also emanated cool girl vibes as she donned the highly-coveted Dolce and Gabbana Rose Embellished Square Sunglasses. Although they’s sold out everywhere, Amber proves that statement-making eye candy are absolute must-haves! Cute!
Oh, Amber! I’m still on the fence about this one. But, in some weird way, I believe she somehow pulled this off…
Kim Kardashian stepped out in Thousand Oaks, clad in her favorite Manolo Blahnik Estro Sandals and forthcoming Savage Graphic Biking Shorts from her Kimoji line:
No telling how much they will cost, but they should be affordable given the prices of the rest of the Kimoji merchandise.
I love a good pair of biking shorts! I’m actually wishing I had these right now in this unbelievable heat.
