After the show, it’s the after party! Stars showed up for HBO’s post-Emmys celebration in bold prints, vibrant hues, dramatic silhouettes, and head-turning embellishment.
Let’s get into the ensembles!
After an ethereal Ralph Lauren gown, Tracee Ellis Ross opted for a fierce black velvet, animal print embossed gown. Hot!
We’re calling RuPaul “Prints Charming” this week after his blue and white patterned tux at the celebration. He never disappoints.
We’re accustomed to seeing Issa Rae in more casual looks, but with the debut of her new HBO show Insecure coming in a just a few weeks, we expect many more red carpet sightings from her! This cobalt color was magical on her.
Ballers actress Jazmyn Simon shimmered and sparkled in a silver embellished gown for the night.
We’re pretty much using any excuse to constantly post pictures of Kerry Washington’s ensemble. She didn’t change for the fête, but would you with a gown like this?
J.Alexander uplifted a simple all-black look with a paillette-embellished top. I want this in my wardrobe right now!
Vice Principals star Kimberly Hebert-Gregory went bold in a green off-the-shoulder gown with dramatic sleeves.
Keri Russell brought the drama in a white gown with a trained back. Gorgeous!

It’s a dreary day in the Big Apple—the kind of Monday that puts you in a bit of a somber state after the glitz and glamour of the Emmys last night. But luckily, we’re getting a pick-me-up from one of our favorite blonde babes: none other than Amber Rose. The beauty stars in Missguided’s latest campaign, modeling their steal-worthy designs with aplomb:

History always manages to repeat itself. Platform sneakers, slip dresses, and chokers were the rave all summer ’16. The latest company to follow the “return of the 90’s” trend is cosmetic brand Urban Decay with today’s Bomb Product: their 90’s Vintage Vice Lipsticks.

Originally launched in 1996, these shimmery shades were used in almost all of the 90s music video’s giving everything from edgy girls to pop princesses urban edge.
These $17 “lip bullets” feature nine shades: Pallor, Asphyxia, Oil Slick, Smog, Roach(already out of stock), Bruise, Plague, UV-B, and Frost Bite.
The capsule collection can be found at Sephora.com.
What do you think of the vintage shades? There’s nothing more nostalgic than being able to own a piece of the past and add a modern twist to it. Personally, I love the Vice collection, especially the deep “Roach” shade! Leave your feedback below.
The 68th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards are going down right now! We’re seeing loads of embellishment, sweetheart necklines, rich textures, and strapless silhouettes ruling the red carpet.
Let’s get into the night’s ensembles, shall we?
Kerry Washington was the hottest mommy-to-be ever, sizzling in a custom Brandon Maxwell cutout gown.
Padma Lakshmi dropped more than a few jaws in a silver long-sleeve, sequin embellished Naeem Khan gown. Easily one of the night’s best dressed!
The highest paid actress in TV, Sofia Vergara, looked like a few million bucks in a one-shoulder embellished Versace gown.
Viola Davis’s husband matched his bow tie to her Marchesa gown in the same shade. Could they be any cuter?
Taraji P. Henson was a ray of sunshine in a yellow Vera Wang gown. This is her color!
Laverne Cox was gilded in a gold, sheer beaded Naeem Khan gown. Positively regal.
Tracee Ellis Ross never disappoints on the red carpet. Her one-shoulder, cutout Ralph Lauren gown looks Emmy Award-winning worthy, doesn’t it?
Angela Bassett went bold in a chartreuse cape gown by Christian Siriano. Take notes ladies and gents! This is how you rock a red carpet.
Yara Shahidi was ethereal in a white and gold Clara Rotescu dress. This was delightful.
A Nina Garcia sighting at an awards show is rare, but always welcome. A long-sleeve, floral embroidered Valentino gown was her choice for the evening.
Emily Ratajkowksi certainly turned a few heads in a navy Zac Posen gown. She’s always flawless!
Priyanka Chopra was red hot in a pleated design with an artfully cutout bodice. Werk Priyanka! I can’t wait for Quantico’s return.
Regina King was pretty in pink, slipping on a strapless Elizabeth Kennedy gown in the rosy hue. Simply stunning.
Emilia Clarke was the epitome of chic in a blush strapless, embellished Atelier Versace column gown.
Ariel Winter went glam in a crystal-encrusted Yousef Al-Jasmi dress. I loved this!
Tori Kelly channeled old Hollywood glamour in a black strapless velvet Paule Ka gown. This is definitely her best look ever.
America Ferrera shimmered and sparkled in a black Jenny Packham sequin gown and red earrings for a pop of color. Pretty!
Niecy Nash was a vision in a white strapless Christian Siriano gown with a dramatic, trained back. She’s never looked better.
Porsha Williams wore a long-sleeve illusion Jiki Monte Carlo jumpsuit with a sheer panel bodice and bow-detailing. This wasn’t my favorite look from her, though there’s no denying Porsha’s a beauty!
E! News Correspondent Zuri Hall skewed sultry in a curve-hugging black gown with a plunging neckline and thigh bone-high slit.
Liz Hernandez showcased her curves in a strapless, curve-hugging gown with a crystal-embellished choker. I always love her simple and chic style.
Trevor Jackson repped for the fellas in a contrast lapel velvet tux. So dapper and unexpected!
Lilliana Vazquez chose a strapless floral jacquard mermaid gown with a sweetheart neckline by Michael Costello. Gorgeous, no?
Shiri Appleby was a blue dream in a sequin DVF stunner with a low-cut neckline. Hot!
Sarah Hyland tipped her proverbial hat to the last days of Summer in a strapless floral, embroidered top and black skinny trousers by Monique Lhuillier.
Va-va-voom was the best word to describe Trace Lysette’s figure-skimming gown with a sweetheart neckline and front slit.
Neve Campbell hasn’t aged a day since the 90’s! She served up dark romance in a black strapless gown with a lace-accented bodice.
An awards show isn’t complete without a star in Zuhair Murad. Kristen Bell donned one of the brand’s gowns—the literal belle of the ball in a floral printed beauty.
Few make a red carpet gown like Oscar de la Renta. And few can carry off a high-fashion design like Michelle Dockery. The fashion powerhouses combined forces, with the actress slipping on a black and white, ruffle-detailed confection from the fashion house. This was fabulous.
Mandy Moore is coming back to our TV screens! Her tangerine Jason Wu with cascading ruffles was simultaneously fun and elegant.
Claire Danes charmed in a gold sequin Schiaparelli number.
A Givenchy moment was bound to happen and Kirsten Dunst was the one to do it! Her beaded black Givenchy gown was a total win.
Flesh was on the agenda for Heidi Klum in a Michael Kors Collection custom white diamond pavé silk-crepe cutout gown.
Sarah Paulson picked up the Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Limited Series or Movie for The People vs. OJ Simpson: American Crime Story! Both her award and her Prada dress definitely made more than a few women green with envy.
Who had your favorite look at the awards show? Stay tuned as we update with all of the night’s looks!
Fashion has been steeped in the 90’s for a few seasons, but Spring 2017 is a definite return to the 80’s. Topshop Unique played on the decade’s biggest (and we mean big) signatures from supermodel hair to party-ready mini dresses.
The collection was in a word? Bold. Animal prints, thigh-high slits, off-the-shoulder silhouettes, and transparent fabrics were all on the agenda.
That trademark 80’s power dressing was given a modern spin with a pleated peplum vest paired with leather trousers, a tuxedo-inspired dress with a slight peek of a contrast white bra showing through, high-waist trousers, and a grey blazer layered over a black patent dress.
And accessories were no wallflowers either. Hot pink pumps, dangling pearl and crystal earrings, spike stud anklets, and oversized safety pin baubles were just a few of the accoutrements on display.
The brand is also taking see-now, buy-now to the next level by making pieces from the collection available to consumers now. With prices starting at $98 and going as high as $1,100, it’s probably best to stick to a piece or two so you don’t completely shatter the bank.
There’s no shortage of celebs in Topshop, from Nicole Scherzinger to mommy-to-be Tika Sumpter. Fewer stars wear the brand’s more expensive offshoot, but a sultry slit pencil skirt, patent shawl-collar jacket, black and white double slit printed dress, and navy strap-accented mini seem like good reasons to make a change for Spring.
What do you think of Topshop Unique’s springtime designs?
Niecy Nash saluted the last days of Summer at the BBC America BAFTA Los Angeles TV Tea Party 2016. For the celebration, she slipped on a $279 Ted Baker Deony Tapestry Flora Dress:
Her dress features a sweetheart neckline, buckle-adjustable shoulder straps, a sleeveless silhouette, an allover mirrored-floral print, and midi length.
