Claire’s Life: Celebrating Alaska Pacific Insurance Agency’s 25th Anniversary with Tracey Parrish, Dr. Courtney Hammonds, Yvette Crocker, and More!

Bombshell and all around Boss Business Woman Tracey Parrish celebrated 25 years of her company Alaska Pacific Insurance Agency (APIA) with an electrifying celebration at Captain Hook Hotel in Anchorage, Alaska!

Fashion Bomb CEO Claire Sulmers hopped on a plane to the Last Frontier, and hosted the red carpet in a red strapless Valdrin Sahiti gown with red gloves, that she layered with a white fox fur bolero from the Fur and Leather Centre to support APIA successfully being in business for a quarter of a century .

The founder of APIA Insurance, Tracey Parrish pulled out all the stops to ensure and unforgettable event, and looked amazing doing so in a black bodycon dress from 4th Avenue Boutique that draped off her shoulders and had a semi-long train. Later on in the evening, Parrish slipped on a fur black and white houndstooth coat that was classy and posh, adding even more glamour to her formal attire.

The entertainment was nonstop with live performances by Grace Weber, poetry by Dasha Kellhan, comedy by Kelly Kellz, and giveaways that set the crowd ablaze.

The cherry on top of the fabulous soiree? A phenomenal fashion show held by Alaska Fur Gallery Anchorage that featured some of the most handsome and dapper men who modeled from Silver Fox Squad.

From dark to white chocolate, we saw a variety of well groomed men with salt-n-pepper beards in the most iconic Alaska Fur gallery coats that were made from coyote, mink, chinchilla, fox, and rabbit.

Alaskans came out in style to celebrate Tracey, in an event that was certainly the highlight of the Anchorage social scene!

Where has time gone? It’s seem’s like yesterday when Solange gave birth to her son Daniel “Julez” Smith and now he’s 19, and looking as handsome as his Football father, Daniel Smith.

However we must admit that the Knowles genes are strong because in a viral picture of Julez, his legendary Auntie Beyoncé and cousin Blue Ivy, their Creole ancestry certainly shines through with their identical facial features.

To celebrate his birthday month, the Houston Native posed in front of a white sprinkled cake wearing a $450 green and yellow Denim Tears Madonna Rugby shirt, that had had the brand’s floral logo featured on the back.

In case you’re unfamiliar with the brand, Denim Tears, it was founded by designer Tremaine Emory (who previously served as the Creative Director of Supreme) and is inspired by the African Diaspora.

Emory’s Denim Tears line has collaborated with well-known brands such as Ugg, Champion and Dior, and has become a favorite amongst celebs like Cardi B & Offset, Kanye West, A$AP Rocky and Lori Harvey.

Julez has turned into such a well composed and stylish young man and it was great to see him enjoy his celebratory day with his auntie Bey and cousin Blue who just wrapped the Renaissance Tour is Kansas City on Oct.1.

The Love is Blind Season 5 Reunion dropped on Netflix Monday evening and hosts Nick and Vanessa Lachey were able to catch up and get the latest scoop from cast members on the show this season.

From Lydia Arleen and James Milton sharing how they’re still happily married and in honeymoon mode, to Aaliyah letting us know where she stands with Uche, and Jared Pierce (JP) and Taylor Rue confronting each other for the first time since they departed the show, the drama was relentless.

Of course we have the deets on what each cast member wore at the reunion, and host Vanessa Lachey led the pack in a $273 haute pink Amanda Uprichard X Revolve dress.

Lachey’s dress had an abstract cutout at the bust and was characterized with a high slit. She kept her hair straight and parted down the middle with show-stopping diamond hoop earrings.

Being the only women on the Season 5 to commit and actually get married was Lydia Arleen, who appeared all smiles in a sexy black House of CB velvet Val dress that had a deep V-neckline. Her front slit showed off her glamorous MACH and MACH heels that had an embellished bow centered.

Her parter Milton wore a dark grey checkered suit with a black shirt, and rocked his signature jerry curl bowl hair cut.

Lydia’s archnemesis, Aaliyah looked gorgeous in a gold off-the-shoulder Moda Glam Boutique dress, known as the “Monroe Gown” that was elegantly draped and looked luxurious with her sparkly lace up sandals.

Despite Aaliyah confessing that she and Uche’s in fact did give their relationship a try following the show, it unfortunately wasn’t fruitful. She did however mention that she is happily dating someone who she met at an R&B yacht party.

Cast member Stacey Snyder was all smiles at the reunion despite her failed marriage to Izzy, and stole the scene in a $750 maroon Bronx and Banco cut out dress that wrapped around her neck, and showed off her flat midsection. She showed skin for days, and her gold accessories including her bold earrings and bangle, gave her ensemble a posh feel.

Izzy Zapata kept things light and casual in an emerald green suit with a white shirt, cognac Oxford shoes and multicolored checkered socks.

Taylor Rue also gave people a run for their money in a rich cadmium yellow satin $249 Miss circle dress that was electrifying and an instant hit on the bombshell. Her canary yellow dangling studded earrings exuded a touch of glamour and royalty.

The cast members of Love is Blind Season 5 came with their A-game at the reunion , and we saw everything from modern silhouettes, and saturated hues, to avant-garde looks with high slits.

Halle Bailey, 23, has had quite an eventful year with playing Ariel in the “Lil Mermaid” to most recently being honored with the Glamour Woman of the Year Gen Z Game-Changer award Monday night.

If anyone’s been on people’s radar as of late, its undoubtedly Bailey and her beau DDG (who’s real name is Darryl Dwayne Granberry Jr.) for recent speculations of the duo expecting their first child together.

If the rumors are true, the “Do It” singer has done a phenomenal job at concealing her baby bump, and for the Glamour WOTY awards she and her bae looked quite impressive.

Bailey wore a black and white NICOLE + FELICIA couture dress that looked like it was inspired by the late Karl Lagerfeld based off the white 3-D floral detailing at the hem of her dress.

The strapless velvet top part of her dress was flattering on her petit figure and for elevated height, she wore an open-toe velvet platform. DDG matched his lady’s fly in a luxe black on black tuxedo with combat boots that looked sharp, and tailor made.

They both were iced out with diamonds with DDG sporting an oversized cross necklace and Bailey opting for a diamond open choker with matching dangling earrings.

The “Umbrella” singer Rihanna is ready for Fall and she stepped out in one of the most swankiest looks on her way to dinner in New York City last week.

After just delivering her second born, Riot Rose Mayers in August, and celebrating her beau A$AP Rocky’s birthday earlier this month, the Barbadian Princess is back on the scene, serving looks for days, and embodying a billionaire aura.

Opting for a refresh and bold statement this season, with brilliant staples like her $3,190 Balenciaga Pantaleggings boots, Rihanna wore the chicest $2,335 gray Dries Van Noten double-breasted mélange wool coat that she belted at the waist.

Keeping her accessories to a minimum, the “Diamonds” singer necklace was iced out with the finest jewels, that alone, would make anyone say Cha-Ching!

Considering that Bottega Veneta has been her and Rocky’s go-to choice for handbags as of late, she styled her outfit with an oversized maroon Bottega Veneta bag that had the brands signature woven detail throughout.

Issa Rae has officially launched her new Prosecco Brand called Viarae Wines, and it’s the bomb!

According to Los Angeles Magazine, “ Viarae is a partnership between Rae and California-based E. & J. Gallo Winery— owners of solid supermarket brands like Barefoot Bubbly and La Marca as well as higher-end labels — and, according to the brand, is meant to be enjoyed as an “any-occasion” treat.”

Along with producing some the best shows such as “Awkward Black Girl” and “Insecure“, owning her own LA coffee shop called Hilltop Coffee+Kitchen, and now her latest wine endeavor, it’s evident to see that Rae is a true Renaissance woman.

Fashion Bomb CEO, Claire Sulmers was able to make an appearance to help ring in Issa Rae’s celebratory moment in a red Ricki Brazil knit dress available at FashionBombdailyshop.com.

Rae kept things on trend in a chocolate brown bodycon dress with gold jewelry and auburn curls that complimented her glistening beat.

Both Issa and Claire who share the same birthday, mingled and danced while they sipped on Viarae Prosecco crafted from 100% Glera and produced by the La Marca cooperative in the Treviso part of Northern Italy.

Fashion Designer, LaQuan Smith made a stylish arrival to the event in a mahogany brown turtle neck that he layered with a chocolate leather jacket, and paired with medium washed jeans. His black and white printed boots added a playful aesthetic to his ultra modern ensemble.

Actress and singer, Cynthia Erivo looked so chic in her black blazer and graphic tee combo that she layered with a chunky silver necklace. Her bold maroon lip was complimentary to her smokey eye shadow.

Also opting for black with an innovative hair style that included bantu knots wrapped with gold clips was football star, Antonio Brown who held his Viarae wine bottle high in the sky as he partied the night away.

Overall, a good time was had by all and it was great to see celebrities come out to show their support for Issa Rae’s latest business venture.

If anyone knows how to throw a party, it’s Mielle Organics CEO, Monique Rodriguez who had the theatrics and nonstop entertainment in full swing over the weekend at her 40th Cirque Du Moleil themed birthday party.

The hair tycoon who coincidentally shares the same birthday as her daughters Mia, 18, and Kenzie, 14, looked electrifying and grandeur in a pink custom Nicole +Felicia couture gown that she paired with fuchsia Rene Caovilla leather ankle wrap sandals, styled by @therealnoigjeremy. When it came down to her diamonds, she opted for American designer, Lorraine Schwartz.

With her husband Melvin Rodriguez by her side, arm in arm, Monique looked stunning with her circus themed pink eyeshadow, and hair pulled into a half ponytail updo, that showcased her flourishing curls.

Melvin on the other hand looked handsome and dapper in a black and white Balmain tuxedo with statement white lapels and black Prada shades. His wrist was iced out with a diamond watch and a Van Cleef & Arpels bracelet.

They both welcomed their guests with open arms, and was overwhelmed by all the love, support and fellowship that showed up in Miami to celebrate Monique and their girls.

In addition to the the elaborate circus themed decorations and circus stilt walkers that added brilliant visual affects to Monique’s party, attendees were able to indulge in a celebrity performance by artists Ashanti and JaRule.

Fashion Bomb CEO, Claire Sulmers of course showed up and showed out to support Monique, mirroring her in a pink feather Retrofete gown, paired with crystal embellished open toe heels and her mini Hermes handbag.

In addition, Beyoncé mother Tina Knowles and previous Destiny Child member, Letoya Luckett also attended Moniques birthday extravaganza, demonstrating her well versed network of people in her corner.

Ms. Tina Knowles represented for Bey in the most fiercest way in a black lace jumpsuit that she belted with a diamond bow belt, and Chanel embellished bag. Her signature red lip complimented her blonde highlights.

Ms. Bling also opted for a red lip and looked blinged out in a “Ms Bling Miami’ rhinestone embellished dress with the matching black rhinestone gloves. Her Judith Leiber lipstick clutch and black studded Louboutin platforms paired exceptionally well with her ensemble.

Ultimately, Monique Rodriguez’s 40th Birthday was a star-studded one, and her Cirque Du Moleil themed party was the perfect way to ring in her fabulous forties.
