From Harper’s Bazaar, “Art Director and Executive producer, Christopher Sollinger, cast various industry icons, veterans, and new faces for the historic cover series of the next edition of âHarperâs Bazaar Indiaâ. Nine versions of the magazine will be available, each featuring a different woman of color on the cover including Tyra Banks as well as Tracey Africa and Geena Rocero, who become the first transgender women to appear on the cover of the iconic âHarperâs Bazaar.â Sollinger produced the shoot over the course of a week in New York.
âThe Nine Wonders of the Worldâ cover series is a twist on the unofficial title sometimes given to those new buildings, structures, projects or even designs that are deemed to be comparable. The series interprets and showcases this “new” as diversity. The new being that diversity is acceptable and celebrated today.
âDiversity has always been the DNA of Harperâs Bazaar. The Indian edition is delighted to follow in such illustrious stepsâ, said Harperâs Bazaar India Editor Nonita Kalra.
âShowcasing white woman after white woman on covers does not work anymore, we need to show the women of the world that is of now,â said Sollinger. âThe world is changing and with this story we want to be apart of that global revolution.â
âThis cover means the world to me and for me to represent my community, it is such a humbling experience for me, I can’t thank Christopher and Harper’s Bazaar for allowing me to be on the cover,â said Tracey Norman.
âIt is an honor to be on this historic cover series with the women that Iâve looked up to. Growing up in the Philippines I used to dream of being on the cover of Harperâs Bazaarâ, said Rocero.”
High Snobiety to the rescue! They had images of all 38 looks from the highly anticipated collection.
You know the deal: muted creams, beiges, and blacks; sweater dresses, oversized jackets, and lustworthy heels (hello, thigh highs). Wear them right off the runway, as we’ve seen the Kardashians do in the past few days.
I must say, I’m a sucker for a sweater dress and thigh high boots! And while the plexi thigh highs look uncomfortable, everything else in the cream/beige family is pretty much on point. I might never jump on the unitard train for anything other than spinning or sports.

Smootches!
We were a bit disappointed when Rihanna announced that she wouldn’t be showing Fenty x Puma at NYFW. We weren’t sure if that meant there was no new collection coming at all, or if she’d release a look book for the assortment. But great news has just come throughâMs. Fenty will be showing the latest installment of her collaboration with the brand at Paris Fashion Week:
September 28th is the big day and to say that the industry is abuzz would be a gross understatement. “Itâs a dream for me to be able to present my second collection of Fenty Puma by Rihanna in Paris,” said the bad gal in a release. “I approached this season very differently and felt the theme and concept was best suited for one of my favorite cities, Paris.”
And if you aren’t in Paris for the momentous occasion, not to fret: Tidal will be streaming it all for both members and non-members. We know it will be a star-studded affair!
Are you excited for Fenty x Puma’s next collection?
After the show, it’s the after party! Stars showed up for HBO’s post-Emmys celebration in bold prints, vibrant hues, dramatic silhouettes, and head-turning embellishment.
Let’s get into the ensembles!
After an ethereal Ralph Lauren gown, Tracee Ellis Ross opted for a fierce black velvet, animal print embossed gown. Hot!
We’re calling RuPaul “Prints Charming” this week after his blue and white patterned tux at the celebration. He never disappoints.
We’re accustomed to seeing Issa Rae in more casual looks, but with the debut of her new HBO show Insecure coming in a just a few weeks, we expect many more red carpet sightings from her! This cobalt color was magical on her.
Ballers actress Jazmyn Simon shimmered and sparkled in a silver embellished gown for the night.
We’re pretty much using any excuse to constantly post pictures of Kerry Washington’s ensemble. She didn’t change for the fĂȘte, but would you with a gown like this?
J.Alexander uplifted a simple all-black look with a paillette-embellished top. I want this in my wardrobe right now!
Vice Principals star Kimberly Hebert-Gregory went bold in a green off-the-shoulder gown with dramatic sleeves.
Keri Russell brought the drama in a white gown with a trained back. Gorgeous!
