Young Jeezy attended last night’s 2016 BET Hip Hop Awards in the same $1,450 Balmain Red Checkered Gold Button Patch Sweater previously worn by Gucci Mane:
While Gucci offset the red and black check with red and black sneakers, Jeezy picked up on the colors with a two toned fedora.
The sweater has a ribbed collar, cuffs and hem and a shoulder button closure.
Instagram voted for Jeezy in a landslide, but I think the both rocked it!

The 2016 BET Hip Hop awards went down in Atlanta last night, with some of rap and reality TV’s hottest stars on the green carpet. Let’s do a quick rundown, shall we?
We’re loving Cardi B’s style evolution! The Bronx Bombshell looked anything but regular schmegular in a $743 Adam Selman Who dunit Cut out Jumpsuit. Work!
Remy Ma debuted blond hair and a velvet jumpsuit with sheer insets.
Erica Mena also jumped on the ‘Blonds have More Fun’ train! She offset her light locks with a custom Stello lace and leather ensemble.
T.I. skewed casual in an olive and black color block button down.
Snapchat superstar DJ Khaled represented in a camouflage jacket with leather sleeves.

Young Thug always pushes the envelope. He went for artsy in a Feng Chen Wang coat with graffiti style writing by Imitation by Jerrell. YLS Jeans and Nike kicks completed his ensemble. Though Thugger Thugger looks great, I must say, I’m more intrigued by his girlfriend’s $495 Opening Ceremony Long Sleeve Netted Mesh Colorblock Dress and Christian Louboutin Tudor Ball Embellished Sandals. She slays!
Desiigner seemed very happy to be there.
DJ Drama kept it simple with Timberland boots and a smile.
Sisterhood of Hip Hop cast member Brianna Perry paired $595 Gucci Embroidered Sneakers with short shorts and a red bomber jacket.
Waist Gang Doyenne PreMadonna kept her looked cinched in a gold mini dress.
Jidenna was the definition of a classic man in a tailored suit.
Fonzworth Bentley paired a snazzy blazer with jeans and loafers.
Lastly, I’m not gonna lie: Gucci Mane and Keyshia Kaior are one of my favorite couples! Gucci rocked a $495 DSquared2 Harness Shirt, the brand’s $1,470 Virgin Wool Blend Zipper Pants, and $1,095 Givenchy Star Chelsea Boots. Keyshia was exquisite in Charbel Zoe Couture. Hot!

Yara Shahidi was suited up at the 2016 Vanity Fair Social Club For Emmy Weekend in a Philipp Plein Red and Black Printed Single Button Blazer and $885 Flared Trousers:
Her red trousers boast an allover black print, flared legs, a front button fastening, and side pockets.

With Anthony Vaccarello now firmly planted at YSL, Versus Versace is completely back in the hands of Donatella Versace. Not that she’s ever really been too far removed from the creative helm: she’s always been la signora of the brand no matter which collaborator she brought in to put a new and fresh spin on its signatures.
I suppose the line can be referred to as a veritable house, as it’s been around for almost three decades. Not once has it lost the passionate, brave, and sultry air that is so intrinsic to Donatella’s character.
That trademark utilitarian touch was explored with leather sleeveless anoraks, wind flap-accented jackets, loads of pockets accented by edgy zippers, and a slew of functional, yet exciting trousers.
Few brands are as synonymous with rock-n-roll as Versace and Versus has it built into its DNA. Chainmail-reminiscent mini skirts, destructed denim, high-cut bodysuits, and oversized safety pin earrings drove that tough, fun point home.
And you never have to worry about the sexiness quotient in any Versace collection. Thigh-baring mini dresses, Bella opening the show in briefs, wide, grommet-detailed belts worn as tops, and cutouts exposing hip bones were all on the agenda.
What I enjoyed most was the strength the designs radiated: the Versus Versace woman is strong, confident, powerful, and completely sure of herself. Red lips, high necks, cutouts, knee-high lace up boots—she’s fierce, fearless, and dynamic. All words I think most modern-day women would be more than happy to be described as.

The sisters three indulged in a shopping trip, with Kourtney in a $1,105 Robert Cavalli Leo Camouflage Green dress, Kimmy in a skin clinging bodysuit and $227 J Brand Mid Rise Jeans, and Khloe in a $42 My Style Mode Taupe midi dress:
Kourtney’s dress is now on sale for $507. The figure hugging mini features a plunging scoop back, short hem and a contrasting trim.
Kim Kardashian’s $227 jeans have ripped knees and a frayed hem.
Khloe’s dress was the most affordable of the bunch, at $42.

London Fashion Week has begun! For Mother of Pearl’s Spring 2017 collection, Amy Powney pulled from an amazing, yet surprising inspiration: a film anthology titled New York Stories that was released almost three decades ago in 1989.
Shorts by the likes of Francis Ford Coppola, Sofia Coppola, and Martin Scorsese were included in the compendium—if you had any idea about its greatness. Its influence on Powney further explores the synergy between film and fashion.
The models’ smudged red pouts definitely lent a cinematic air toe to the collection, while the shiny, voluminous tresses, white pointed-toe pumps, and chain-link mini shoulder bags were an obvious nod to the late 80’s.
The films’ elements gave Powney an abundance of stylish ingredients to choose from. That meant the designs were simultaneously sinuous, conservative, bold, and unabashedly 80’s.
It was a lot to take in and quite a bit to digest, but somehow it all came together quite beautifully. The moment was also a big first for the brand, as it debuted its foray into denim.
My favorite pieces in the assortment were the flirty, leg-baring dresses. A white design with tonal flowers felt like just the piece for an awards show after party, while a midi-length striped piece with a roomy silhouette and dropped hem was perfect for both Spring and Fall layering.

Another night, another Pre-Emmys party! This celebration was thrown by Variety and Women in Film’s Emmy Nominee Celebration sponsored by Mercedes-Benz, so naturally, our favorite fashionable actresses were in attendance.

A blue playsuit and shimmering accessories were on the menu for Transparent star Trace Lysette. This felt a bit casual for the affair at hand, but it’s definitely a look I would wear for the last days of Summer!
Ariel Winter took Regina’s lead in a pared-down LBD with a deep-v neckline and boned-waist.
Michelle Dockery was white hot in a classic, black and white ensemble from Elie Saab. Can’t wait to see what she wears at the Emmys!
