This week’s selection of best dressed celebs will showcase a battle of the black and white ‘fits! Every single contender included either wore black, white or both neutral hues. And, the competition is fierce!
So, without further ado, let’s get to it!
1) Jennifer Lawrence in Dior
Passengers actress Jennifer Lawrence was on hand for the Los Angeles film premiere clad in an ethereal Dior heart embroidered gown. Now, although we’ve officially proclaimed that the sheer dress movement has come and gone- for some strange reason, Jennifer’s take on the trend radiates pure sophistication and elegance. The stunning white number also includes a strapless neckline, a clean silhouette and tulle accents.
2) Kerry Washington in Elie Saab
Our girl Kerry Washington has made multiple fashionable appearances since giving birth to the newest addition of her growing family and she’s proving that motherhood has never looked better! The 39-year-old actress and celebrated philanthropist graced the 22nd Annual Critics Choice Awards in a semi-sheer star embellished dress by Elie Saab. Kerry added an edgy strappy heel to contrast the feminine undertones of her chic ‘fit while minimal accessories and soft curls completed her look. So gorg!
3) Janelle Monae in Nicci Hou
The 22nd Annual Critics Choice Awards were chock full of jaw-dropping celebrity looks! While a handful of fashionistas opted for simple yet classic ensembles, there were others who catapulted their looks to new heights. Out of those bold trendsetters, Janelle Monae reigned supreme in a harlequin print gown by Nicci Hou. The songstress also uplifted a wavy updo, metallic heels and a cute choker. Love it!
4) Kate Beckinsale in Reem Acra
Kate Beckinsale is hot on the promo trail for her upcoming film Underworld: Blood Wars but the beautiful actress also took a quick moment to show off her impeccable style at the 22nd Annual Critics Choice Awards. For the ultra-lux occasion, Kate slipped into a glamourous Reem Acra sheer embellished gown that boasts a high (and plunging) neckline, puffy sleeves and a textured hem. Talk about an effortless slay!
5) Rita Ora in Manolo Blahnik
America’s Next Top Model star Rita Ora went back to black in a high-slit, lace-detailed frock, an exuberant burgundy fur coat and a pair of $1,095 Manolo Blahnik ‘Sicariata’ crystal embellished d’orsay pumps. 6) Marjorie Harvey at The White House
Of course, we had to include the flawless Marjorie Harvey into our Look of the Week mix! Earlier this week, the social media phenom visited The White House alongside hubby Steve Harvey and they absolutely killed it. As the fly couple opted to match in dark winter hues, Marjorie was the epitome of perfection in a textured LBD, lavish diamond drop earrings and ladylike Christian Louboutin pumps. Hot!
