I just got back from beautiful St. Louis, Missouri, where I hosted the Fur and Leather Centre’s annual Fur Fashion Show!
Owner Tiara Peach (pictured above alongside Big Boss Vette and Yours Truly) is revolutionizing the fashion industry, taking previously stodgy silhouettes and injecting them with color and singular flair. She showed her design chops in a Bomb Fashion Show that featured over 70 pieces, curated by celebrity stylist Kris Shelby.
The show offered items for children, women, and men. Even Little Mendeeces hit the runway in a snake embossed leather jacket.

2023 was huge for the brand. With multiple designs gracing the stage of the history-making Renaissance World Tour for the Queen Bee, the brand also won the Neiman Marcus Award for Innovation in the Field of Fashion.
MSCHF
Big.Red.Boot. Need we say more?
In the summer of 2023, everybody’s Instagram feeds were filled with cool influencers rocking the oversized cartoon boot. Created by MSCHF, reminiscent of Astroboy and loved by many across the globe, the instantly recognisable style was trending for weeks. The boots were such a hit that MSCHF also teamed up with another 2023 It brand, Crocs, to fashion the Big Yellow Boot – a mashup between both brand’s quintessential designs.
Other notable designs are the Wavy Baby sneakers (before it was banned by Vans) and the Help I Broke My Foot, a boot inspired by a walking cast for your feet!
Jessica Rich
Best known for creating the essential Fantasy stiletto – a clear PVC pump to wear with any (and all) outfits – Jessica Rich can count celebrities such as Chloe Bailey, Normani, Saweetie, JLo and many more as admirers.
After it first launched in 2017, the brand quickly expanded and introduced boots, satin platforms, mesh sandals and chained T-strap designs. In 2023, Jessica Rich teamed up with stylist Zerina Akers for a summer perfect capsule collection, and was also celebrated on the cover of Harper’s Baazar.

Coming in from Europe is IceQueen Design. Most loved for their fur covered glamorous boots, this brand certainly lives up to its namesake ‘IceQueen’. But don’t let the name fool you, summer-vibrant sandals, party ready sparkling heels and comfy casual slides are also a big part of this brand’s DNA.

The “Bongos” rapper Cardi B, 31, has broke yet again another glass ceiling, this time walking her first runway show for Balenciaga in Los Angeles over the weekend, and of course she brought the drama and more!
In attendance for the brand’s Fall 2024 Ready-to-Wear collection included celebs like Kim Kardashian, Nicole Kidman, Lil Wayne, Kendall Jenner and 2 Chainz. However when it came down to the models on the runway, Cardi stole the spotlight.
Rocking an oversized cobalt blue Balenciaga faux fur coat, the 5’3 Grammy award winning artist strutted down the runway, looking as fierce and cutting-edge as Morticia from the Addams family.
Her silver diamond link Balenciaga necklace added an extra oomph to her off the shoulder moment, and for Cardi’s first time walking, she definitely served some sass and pizzazz.
The rapper who let us know back in 2018 in her song “I Like It” that she, “likes those Balenciaga’s that look like socks,” has finally been given the opportunity to represent the brand in a major way.
With all the controversy that’s still surrounding the brand based on their BDSM campaigns that highlighted child pornography , it great to see their efforts and strides to be more racially inclusive. However, nonetheless the brand still has some rectifying to do.
From Cardi B’s bomb voluminous coat, and Balenciaga accessories, to her dramatic glam, and slick pony tail, this look felt forward and unprecedented for Cardi, and we were so here for this fashion moment!
There’s a saying that, “true love will always find a way to come back” and Ashanti and Nelly are living proof that no matter if you separate, travel wide and far, and date other people- when the love is real, the universe will always conspire for you to cross paths again.
With that being said, the couple that shook the early 2000’s for over a decade with their love affair that ended in 2010, has officially reunited this year.
If you recall the “ Verzuz Battle” between Fat Joe and Ja Rule back in 2021, then you knew this reunion was bound to happened based on how Nelly embraced and hugged Ashanti on stage. Even a blind person could see that the chemistry was still there after all these years.
Fast forward to today, and not only are the two back together, and confessing their love for each other through extravagant birthday gifts, but they are also reportedly expecting their first child together!
While attending Nelly’s 2023 Black & White Ball at the Four Seasons in St. Louis after a long hiatus, the duo both showed up in all black, matching each others fly. In excitement, Nelly couldn’t keep his paws off Ashanti’s belly.
The man of the hour wore a sharp black tux with an embellished bow tie, and satin labels while his leading lady Ashanti opted for a black velvet Kenny Kas custom gown that had side cutouts and was characterized with a high slit. Centered was a crystal embellished flower that highlighted her newly baby bump, and matched her statement earrings perfectly.
We’re so happy for Ashanti and Nelly’s unison, and perhaps their relationship is a constant reminder that what’s meant to be, will eventually be.
Queen Beyoncé is the Bonnie, to Hov’s Clyde, the Yin to his Yang, and between the two love birds, they both looked fresh to death.
Since the release of Bey’s Renaissance Film which debuted to the public on Dec 1st, Beyoncé has been serving some looks, and as per usual, she has left no crumbs.
The International Superstar touched down in London last Wednesday with her Hubby Jay-Z in the nick of time for her UK film premiere, and of course in true Beyoncé fashion, she made quite a statement.
Dripped in an all white monochromatic look, styled by Shiona Turini, Bey looked mysterious and fashion forward in a white cropped hooded Alaïa top that she sported with dark black frames, and layered with an oversized blazer, and white sweatpants.
Just when you thought it couldn’t get any better, ‘Yonce opted for a white pointy toe boot, letting us know that she’s standing on business. We can definitely see that, ” Uncle Jonny taught her well.”
When she took off her pitch black rectangular framed glasses, we were able to see her gorgeous glam which consisted of peachy bronze eyeshadow that brought out her almond shaped hazel eyes. Her muted pink lips, and soft pink blush added depth to her ethereal beauty.
When it came down to Jay-Z, who celebrated his 54th birthday yesterday, the Brooklyn born rapper turned Billionaire stayed true to his New York roots and wore black on black, with a white crew neck.
Jay’s black wool trench coat that he layered over a sweater and paired with a black beanie, gave him a sophisticated gangster vibe that felt modern, yet true to home.
The ‘Crazy in Love’ duo complimented one another while posing in a series of images in London, and it’s evident to see that “mami’s a rider, and he’s a roller,” and ever since they’ve been put together, no one can stop ’em.
