The 59th Annual Grammy Awards were held this past Sunday and the celebs came out in full force! Every genre of music’s elite artists were in attendance and the red carpet was filled with timeless glitz and glamour. Our girl Rihanna made a grand entrance in a custom two-piece set by Armani Prive. The Bajan beauty’s eclectic ensemble included a voluminous black tiered skirt and a orange embellished crop top. Diamond accents and soft curls completed her look. Sidenote: Did ya’ll scope out her matching diamond-studded flask?
Demi Lovato proved that she did not come to play at the 59th Annual Grammy Awards! The songstress opted for a metallic slay (courtesy of celebrity stylist Avo Yermagyan) as she donned a sheer, cutout gown from Julien Macdonald’s Spring 2017 collection. While this riveting pick boasts a high neck and a sleek silhouette, you can’t help but gaze in awe at the intricacy of the interwoven gold designs. Gosh, isn’t she gorgeous?
The Godiva goddess herself, Kelly Rowland, attended Solange Knowles’s Grammy Awards after party clad in an all red Yousef Akbar ‘fit, styled by the amazing Ade Samuel. Next up, we have undisputed fashion champ Jennifer Lopez! The bodacious superstar hit the 2017 Grammy Awards red carpet in a lavender Ralph & Russo high-slit tulle gown and embellished ankle strap pumps. Although J.Lo amped up the sartorial drama with this one, she also made us all wish we had those killer gams. I mean, is there anything she can’t wear?
Hands down, one of the highlights of the 2017 Grammy Awards was in response to Beyoncé and her adorable baby bump! As we anxiously watched the maternity performance of her soul-stirring single Love Drought, she left us speechless with a gilded tribute to Black women that highlighted the beauty of conception, motherhood and unity. Upon returning to her seat (alongside hubby Jay-Z), Beyoncé stopped the world in a custom red Peter Dundas sequin deep plunge gown and Charlotte Olympia heels. Iconic!

Brandon Maxwell is officially one of our Fashion Week favorites! Not only do we love the work he does with Lady Gaga as her stylist—hello Super Bowl—but he always has one of the most diverse catwalks of the entire season.
“The hair is over the top glamour,” stated stylist James Pecis of the tresses that accompanied the fabulous runway ensembles. “The key to this is to not try to make someone something they’re not. Everyone’s hair should be their own.” And though the below steps outline how to get one particular ‘do from the show, some of our favorite models sported their natural curls and coils on the catwalk.
1. Saturate your hair with a thickening spray from roots to ends before blowing it out. Direct your tresses away from your face when you blow dry.
2. Complete a second application of the spray on the hair around your face.
3. Add extensions to your hair and make sure you apply them horizontally from the back.
4. Set your hair with a one-inch curling iron and alternate the waves.
5. Pull your hair back—away from your face, but close to your head.
Happy Friday! Today’s Bombshell is a style blogger from Atlanta. Meet Rikki:
She writes, “I would describe my style as being a mix of glam, eclectic and casual. I believe that the most important part of fashion is being comfortable: whether that’s staying true to who you are or just picking a shorter heel lol.“
“In addition, I absolutely LOVE color! Even if I’m wearing a majority neutral outfit, I love to add some type of pop of color for funsies.”
“I pull inspiration from social media (Polyvore, Pinterest, IG and Tumblr), magazines, street style and of course, FashionBombDaily!“

Prabal Gurung is all about empowering women through clothes: strength and confidence are two feelings he hopes to evoke with his designs. His Fall 2017 was in line with that courageous and fierce sensibility, even displaying his support of women, the LGBTQ community, and immigrants in the U.S. as he is a native of Nepal himself.
And the hair was as powerful as the looks that glided down the runway: a modern take on the classic ponytail. Hair was tousled and textured in the back, while the front was clean in contrast. A perfect blend of femininity and masculinity. Here, the steps to recreate the look by stylist Anthony Turner:
2. Once everything is dry, use a paddle brush to smooth your hair out. Then, create a very deep side part on the left.
3. Next, rub some texturing paste into your crown for the ultimate in sleekness.
4. Then, you’ll want to push the front, right section of your hair towards your face. That will create a small bump in the front. You’ll then want to break up your hair with your fingers for that “lived-in” texture.
5. Pull your hair back into a tight ponytail in the dead center of the back of your head.
6. Then, wrap strands around a curling iron in different directions. You can then rub the same spray you used before into the ponytail to break it up.
