Celebrities came out of the gate stunting in fabulous ensembles!
Let’s get into our favorite celebrity looks of the week.
1) Ruth Negga in Valentino
Ruth Negga stunned on the 2017 Palm Springs Film Festival Awards Gala red carpet as she donned a plunging sheer floral embroidered gown from Valentino’s Spring 2017 collection. While the ethereal number displays an ample amount of skin, Ruth pulls it off so effortlessly and her fiery red lip is the icing on the cake. Love it!
2) Christina Milian in The Kooples and YSL
Christina Milian attended a pre-Gold Globes Awards 2017 party in an ensemble featuring pieces by The Kooples. With a shimmery, animal print blouse and tailored black slacks, the actress/singer radiated pure glam and luxurious vibes. To complete her look, Christina opted for subtle makeup, a wavy ‘do and Saint Laurent accessories. Hot!
3) Janelle Monae in Jenny Packham
After sweeping in over 12,231 likes and 240 comments on Instagram, Janelle Monae proved yet again that she is queen when it comes to the red carpet! The Hidden Figures leading lady graced the scene at the 2017 Palm Springs Film Festival Awards Gala clad in a gorgeous black and cream block print gown from Jenny Packham’s Spring 2017 presentation. Our social media followers loved everything about this look – from Janelle’s decorated curly tendrils to her impeccable accessorizing, this is one of the performer’s best looks to date. We’re so excited to see what she has up her sleeve for the upcoming year!
4) Naomie Harris in Brandon Maxwell
Naomie Harris stopped the world in its tracks as she made an appearance at the 2016 NBR Gala in a champagne-hued satin and chiffon pick by Brandon Maxwell. The lustrous ‘fit boasts chic wide-leg trousers, a deep v-neckline and a flawless silhouette. Perfect for the actress’s minimal aesthetic, we have to give kudos to celebrity stylist Micaela Erlanger for creating such a dynamic style moment.
5) Jennifer Hudson in Altuzarra
Next up, we have Jennifer Hudson! The beautiful fashionista was all smiles while on hand at a press launch for The Voice UK. For the occasion, the multitalented star rocked a $1,295 Altuzarra Kimiko Side Button Black Knit Dress, ankle strap platform sandals and playful fuchsia lips. It’s evident that J. Hud is on a fashionable roll and she’s showing no signs of slowing down. Werk it!
6) Gabrielle Union in Thakoon
Fashion pro Gabrielle union shocked our hearts (and our timelines) as she slayed the red carpet for the Los Angeles premiere of her new film Sleepless. The fresh-faced stunner kept it cool and sexy in a Thakoon embellished gown which features a deep cut neckline and long sleeves. As we all know, Gabby rarely disappoints when it comes to glamming it up. In other news, are you guys excited about the return of BET’s Being Mary Jane next week? I know I am!

Jean Paul Paula offered a more casual vibe in a plaid kilt over pants, and an edgy leather jacket.
Keep it comfy in sweats and a fur jacket, as this young man displays.
Women are representing! I need the deets on those snakeskin thigh highs!
Lastly, this young lady looked like a star in a star printed jacket and utilitarian boots.

Kourtney Kardashian took to her app to give the lowdown of her Bahamas Girl’s trip. The mom of three posed on the beach in a $1,694 La Perla Anchor Non-Wire Swimsuit:
The anchor design inspires the shape of this sculpted swimsuit. The well-crafted piece features rows of thin metallic cords used to embellish the garment. Each hook is made from golden metal engraved with the La Perla logo. All metallic elements are rhodium-plated making them shiny and resistant to wear.
I don’t know about you, but I am LOVING this swimsuit! Not only does Kourtney look bangin’, the nautical-inspired suit is so detailed and fun!

Earlier this week, Cassie posed for the ‘gram in a pair of $1,095 Givenchy Logo Track Pants. Bella Hadid walked through the airport in Paris wearing the same pair:
Cassie looked swaggy as she did some shopping in her black track pants, black t-shirt, trench coat and gold chains around her neck.
Bella kept it simple with a white crop top and black leather jacket.
The elastic-waist track pants are crafted from smooth, heavyweight jersey. The contrast side stripes are completed with the Givenchy logo and signature star motif.

I’m going to have to give this one to Cassie. Although they’re both in the midst of doing tasks that are far from their usual red carpet appearances, Cassie manages to look stylish while Bella looks boring.

Camouflage is making a chic return to the style scene this season. Not to say that it ever really went away because I still have an over-sized army jacket and a pair of fitted cargo pants hanging in my closet. But the military-inspired print is taking a new spin with colorful fur-lined parkas, stylish handbags, and distressed tees and sweatshirts just to name a few. If you’re in need of some ideas on how to update your camo look, try-on today’s style inspirations.
Rock an oversized camo-print button down over a white tank top and black suede pants.

Happy New Year! It’s the first Friday of 2017 so we had to kick off our ‘How Do You Wear It’ series with a trend that is beyond fly. Claire showed you how the celebrities are rockin’ their camouflage threads but we want to see how you do it. We did a call for submissions and got tons of responses! Jeeda J of Swoon Blog, paired her midi length, camo skirt with strappy sandals and a fur-lined moto jacket. Need that jacket!
Every now and then we get a bomber submission and I love it! Cameron, @standup_g , wore a camouflage button-down shirt with a printed hat and black frame glasses. The mixed prints add a personal flare. Here for it!
Designer Shakira, @Kira_Nacole, threw on a camouflage hoodie dress from her personal collection. Must be nice to make garments as the trends come out!
Kimberly’s embellished jacket is too fly! I appreciate the simply styled outfit. It allows the focus to be on the jacket. I smell a DIY project coming!
