Happy Monday, folks!
This past Saturday, I drove down to Philly in a Toyota Corolla for my very first Conversations with Claire event!

While we’ve been doing Cocktails with Claire for years, Conversations with Claire are more intimate events where we can just sit, sip, and chat about The Bomb Life, career, and fashion!

We welcomed dozens of Philly Bombshells to Indigo Bleu Design Center to sip Luc Belaire mimosas, nosh on finger foods, and fellowship!

Part 1 of the event was a conversation led by Power 99 Philly’s Mina Say What. We touched on everything from how to start a blog to how to navigate difficult relationships.



After a brief Q&A, I said greeted everyone and signed copies of The Bomb Life.

Of course you guys came dressed to impress!

Event Sponsor @AmourLaVie from Lys Boutique looked super cute in a red top and striped pants from her store.

Bombshell alert! Designer Shavonee Deanne and bloggers Dayna Dane and Rocky were on deck in cute looks. Yes hair, yes skin!

Vendor Sherron from @Lace_Wine showcased her wares while rocking a bedazzled tee.

A Topshop romper and a dapper suit were on hand for these fly attendees.

Friends who slay together, stay together! These girlfriends stood out from the crowd in poppin capes, velvet tops, and embellished pants.

And these stylistas showed off Spring’s hottest accessories: smiles, Fashion Bomb Daily gift bags, and copies of The Bomb Life book!
As for me…

I grabbed a pic with Philly designer Marquette, who designed the dress I wore for my book cover and also designed the velvet number I chose for the day!

I have mad love for Philly! I also took a flick with Mah Jing Wong and his lovely wife.

And a Philly trip would not be complete without Bombshell and designer Iris Barbee Bonner of These Pink Lips!

I smiled with my sister, Dee Dee, who did an amazing job with social media coverage (she killed it on Snapchat and IG stories, didn’t she?)

Grabbed a flick with my gorgeous cousins.

Then ended my picture blitz with my event planners, Bombshells Victoria and Christina.
After the event, I jumped back into the Toyota and made my way back to Brooklyn! It was such a great time. I love meeting you guys and am so thankful for your support!


You guys are absolutely beautiful! You rock!
At any rate, our next Conversations with Claire will take place this coming Saturday at Nesh New York, with a conversation moderated by June Ambrose. Sadly, it is 100% sold out, but not to fear! We will be having Cocktails with Claire x Ty Hunter in NYC on May 13th.

The skin nude ‘Moment’ trenchcoat from A.F. Vandevorst features black trim and a tie waist.

The nude leather embellished snake pumps from Alberta Ferretti have a pointed toe and feature a side strap.

I’ve been loving her pregnancy style.  Very classic and chic!

Ashley Graham looked every bit the supermodel at the Urban Arts Partnership 25th Anniversary Benefit in a Badgley Mischka Beaded Column Evening Dress:

Her beaded dress features a column-inspired silhouette. Ashley shortened hers to midi length.

She’s always flawless!

Tia Mowry paid a visit to The Wendy William Show to promote her show Tia Mowry at Home and her new book, Whole New You, clad in a $5,100 Gucci Flora Snake Print Silk Dress:

The mid-length silk dress features a pleated skirt and GG pearl chain buttons. The Flora Snake print is a stunning array of colorful flowers intertwined with coiling snakes-a symbol that has been established as one of Alessandro Michele’s signature details.

Rihanna showed off her street style while in NYC clad in a $228 Richardson “Masters and Mistresses Association” Hoodie and $1,395 Balenciaga “Indemallable” Boots:

The 100% cotton 13oz french terry drop shoulder hoodie features silk-screened graphic, text, and logos.

Balenciaga’s Indemallable pointed-toe boots are crafted of light pink neoprene.

 

 

Rihanna completed her look with a white fur coat and Maison Margiela cropped track pants.

 

 

Although Rihanna’s sense of style is in a lane of it’s own, I’m not a huge fan of this ensemble.

Blac Chyna stepped out in LA dressed in black ripped jeans, a black t-shirt and a $5,235 black and white Off White Arrow Print Biker Jacket:

 

The black biker jacket is constructed of 100% calf leather and features black and white striped detailing on the sleeves and the pocket.

The simple look was pulled together with black lace-up booties.  Cute!

I love a simple black on black ensemble and the biker jacket is the perfect statement piece.  I’m here for it!

Eva Mendes went bold at New York & Company’s Miami Store Grand Opening. Naturally, she donned a piece from her own collection with the brand—a $100 Green Alonza One Shoulder Maxi Dress:
