Endless entertainment, with enchanting performances and engaging speeches, the 66th Annual Grammy awards held at the Crypto.com arena in Los Angeles Sunday evening was everything and more!
As stars made a sartorial entrance on the red carpet, we were impressed by the all the nighttime chic and evening elegance that we saw.
Some of our favorite celebrities took risks and abandoned traditional evening attire, like Beyoncé who opted for a western Louis Vuitton Fall-Winter ’24 look by Pharrell Williams. In addition to Ice Spice who gave us nostalgic vibes in a denim and fur Baby Phat ensemble by Kimora Lee Simmons.
It was refreshing to see celebrities embrace their own style in such an unapologetic way. Perhaps “unapologetic” could have been the theme of the evening hence Jay-Z’s iconic speech as he accepted his Dr. Dre Global Impact award.
Ahead, see which celebrities made it to our Top 15 Best Dressed List Below!
1. Beyoncé in Louis Vuitton, and Blue Ivy in Vivienne Westwood
Onobun Osemekhian Joshua, the luminary behind OOJCOUTURE, emerges as a trailblazer in the realm of sartorial innovation, weaving a captivating narrative of style deeply embedded in the vibrant tapestry of Nigerian heritage and global influence.
Having grown up amidst the dynamic energy of Edo state, specifically in the renowned Benin City, Nigeria, Osemekhian’s formative years were an immersive experience in the rhythmic beats of Nigerian culture. This eclectic symphony laid the foundation for his future creative pursuits.
As the founder and creative director of OOJCOUTURE, Osemekhian takes a distinctive route by seamlessly blending the allure of Nigerian traditional attire with a contemporary twist, challenging the norms of conventional fashiion. His designs intertwine traditional handwoven fabrics, intricate beadwork, and vivid hues, paying homage to the richness of Nigerian and African craftsmanship while transcending geographical boundaries with their universal appeal.
Osemekhian’s unconventional path embraces his roots, and it reflects in his designs that showcase a fusion of tradition and modernity. The recent collection, aptly named “THE AFRICAN ESSENCE,” draws inspiration from African traditional wear deeply rooted in the cultural diversity of the black race. Each garment in this collection serves as a unique narrative, reflecting history, ethnic identity, and telling a compelling story.
“The African Essence” collection is a dynamic blend of urban and contemporary wear, with each piece representing a fusion of traditional elements and current fashion trends. Notable examples include the white “cowl neck attire” and the pink ensemble, both of which exemplify the harmonious coexistence of tradition and modernity. From the choice of fabrics to the styles and garment creation, the collection creates a vibrant and globally appealing aesthetic that successfully bridges the gap between tradition and modernity.
Osemekhian’s OOJCOUTURE stands as a testament to his commitment to redefining fashion, not just as a mode of dressing but as a means of storytelling that celebrates cultural heritage while embracing the ever-evolving currents of contemporary style.
Held in Los Angeles for the first time ever, the third annual 15 Percent Pledge gala brilliantly captured black excellence in all of its glory as celebs gathered inside of Paramount Studios.
Founded by Creative Director and Activist Aurora James, the pledge is a call for retailers to implement diversity and inclusion by contributing 15% percent of their shelve space to Black owned brands. According to their website, “with over 28 retailers, they’ve been able to shift almost $14B of revenue to Black-owned businesses.”
Companies like Nordstrom, Sephora, Vogue and Bloomingdales are among businesses to pledge, and the list continues to grow.
Fashion Bomb CEO, Claire Sumers arrived to the ‘black tie black designer‘ extravaganza in a Matopeda gown that was sent all the way from Nigeria. You’ll also be pleased to know that the Matopeda’s collection is available at FashionBombdailyshop.com.
Claire caught up with some of the brightest stars in the industry including the beautiful Kelly Rowland who looked stunning in hues of chocolate and hints of gold.
The ‘Coffee” singer wore a Mohamed Benchellal gown that had a unique structure and modern silhouette. We live for a bob haircut on Kelly and she didn’t disappoint. Her gold statement earrings and lioness rings were the perfect finishing touches.
Actress, Tracey Ellis Ross also opted for brown tones in a Fear of Gold fur coat that was stenched in with a leather belt, and paired with mocha colored Saint Laurent heels.
The woman of the hour, Aurora James opted for a Christopher John Rogers look that included a cream cropped blouse that had a teal 3D flower, to go with the matching avant-garde skirt. She looked incredible with her teal scrappy sandals and Bulgari jewels that perhaps exuded wealth and royalty.
Similar to Aurora James, Jordyn Woods also chose to go with neutrals, this time with Los Angeles based designer Harbison.Studio. Her multi-colored buttons down her dress was a nod to Harbison’s signature, and her black gloves gave us “black-tie realness.”
The Woods took selfies with Claire who they had the pleasure of hanging out with during Paris Fashion week last September.
Aurora’s right hand partner, Emma Grede who is the Chairwoman of the 15-percent Pledge and the Co-founder of Good American slayed in a black Aliette blazer dress that had a 3D organza rose down the side.
Grede welcomed attendees including model Ashley Graham who showed off her beautiful curves in an emerald green sequins and feathered gown that was characterized with cutouts.
Sabrina Idris kept things simple yet refined and polished in a Kwame Adusei maxi dress with pointy toe stilettos and a black mini bag.
Media Personality Angela Rye glistened in a gold Dolce & Gabbana look that had a built in corset bodice and felt futuristic.
Also in attendance was Mielle Organics CEO, Monique Rodriguez who illuminated in a Christopher Rogers dress that had colorful dimensions and paired exceptionally well with her Judith Leiber clutch.
The 15 Percent Pledge is a very important cause to ensure the major retailers make a commitment to showcase African American brands that aren’t always given equal opportunity to flourish due to systematic racism.
It’s emplaced to make sure that the companies and stores we shop at are to doing their due diligence to help facilitate inclusiveness, which is why this is an nonprofit organization that we stand behind and so should you.

The snake themed music video by the Houston Hottie has already amassed over 6 million views on Youtube, reaching critical acclaim for its stunning visuals, exceptional wardrobe looks, and Meg’s fiery bars.
Wherever there’s smoke, there’s fire and Megan’s lyrics didn’t fall on deaf ears. Hitting on different topics, such as Tina Snow, Megan’s Law, BBL’s and her rival opponent, Nicki Minaj, she certainly ruffled a few feathers.
One thing for certain, is that Megan Thee Stallion strategically executed this music video, and the captivating looks she served, left us glued to our screens yearning for more.
Her cover art was a sight to behold with a white python snake rapped around her neck as she posed in a red fishnet Buerlangma dress. Styled by Zerina Akers, Megan kept things monochromatic with red earrings and a lined lip which compliment her china bags and curved sideburns.
In another look, the ‘HISS’ rapper delivered unique sensuality in a black LRS NYC dress that had intricate and revealing cutouts. She completed her avant-garde look with Stuart Weitzman heels, and a black custom Sarah Sokol Millinery feather hat that stole the show.
The outfit changes were endless, and in constant rotation. As she rapped in front of multiple vintage TV screens, resembling an 80’s aesthetic, the Houston native gave ultra sex appeal.
Designer Matthew Reisman is to thanks for Meg’s custom silver bell bottom pants and sequin denim set. Her acid wash denim felt on trend with the set design as she posed and unapologetically bared the backside of her bum.
Fans and media outlets alike praised Megan all weekend long for coming correct. On Fashion Bomb Daily’s Instagram page, user @Kebathemua wrote, “She went off 😂 idc idc idc 🔥🔥🔥 bravo Meg! You did what needed to be done.” While @thiquegirlgen wrote, “Killed every look 🔥🔥🔥🔥.”
Another user @Theshelahmarie expressed, “She went independent and brought Tina Snow back!!!!!!” If you recall back in October 2023, Megan Thee Stallion announced that she was officially an independent artist. In December, she inked a deal with Warner Music Group for distribution and services to have more leverage.
She also illuminated with a custom Laurel Dewitt elongated crystal neck piece. Celebrity Stylist, Zerina Akers paired her layered diamond necklaces with silver metallic flare pants that felt cohesive with her silver platinum blonde stands.
There’s no doubt that Megan’s new music video ‘HISS’ started 2024 off with a bang. She wasn’t afraid to let it all out and push the envelope, which in our book, definitely makes her one of Hip Hop’s MVP’s.
It’s also great to see how Megan Thee Stallion has evolved since her 2019 hit single “Hot Girl Summer,” to now and if this is any indication of what’s to come, she’ll definitely be soaring high on the billboard charts.
Kylie Jenner was on the scene during Paris Fashion Week, attending all the Haute Couture shows in dazzling and eye-catching looks.
During the Maison Valentino show, the ‘Kylie Cosmetics’ founder had her babygirl Stormi tag along for the glamorous outing, and like mother like daughter, they arrived in matching ensembles.

Dressed in a black Valentino halter dress, with a black feather bolero that hung off her shoulders, Kylie looked so regal and posh. Holding her mother’s hand tightly as paparazzi snapped away, Stormie strutted in a black Valentino coat that had a feather collar, with black Valentino Mary Jane flats.
They both stayed on brand with dark black Valentino shades, and Stomie’s mini Valentino bag was the perfect size for the preschooler who got her first hand glimpse into the world of high couture.

Momager, Kris Jenner was also present at the show with beau Corey Gamble in a grey Valentino number that also had feather detailing with crystal embellishments. To see three-generations seated together at the Valentino show is certainly something to be cherished.

Stormie was all smiles and we know it’s only a matter of time before this mini fashionista becomes a high fashion ‘It girl.”
Paris Fashion Week has put a new twist on contemporary fashion, introducing new silhouettes and sharp tailoring. From Schiaparelli taking us on a fantastical journey with statement pieces, to Chanel reimagining tweed with tulle, haute couture never looked so good.
Some of our favorite celebrities were in attendance at the Paris couture runway shows including “Bad Gal RiRi,” who showed us why Dior is still iconic after the brand’s inception in the 1940’s.
Rihanna arrived to the Dior Spring-Summer ’24 show in an all black Dior couture look including an oversized textured jacket, and matching pencil skirt. She took it one step further with leather black gloves, a ball cap, and a mini Dior handbag.

RiRi wasn’t the only one to show up and out in the color black as Actress and model, Zendaya looked sickening at the Schiaparelli show alongside Celebrity Stylist, Law Roach.
The ‘Euphoria’ star captivated everyone with her latest hairstyle debut which featured micro china bangs that reminded us of Beyonce’s ‘Telephone’ video.
Zendaya’s ensemble featured a black bodysuit with 3D braid knots down the sleeves, and a long satin skirt that draped around the waist, and was complimented with a standout train.

JLO turned heads as she arrived to the Schiaparelli show in a spectacular white custom made rose petal coat designed by Daniel Roseberry.
Her beautifully crafted coat was actually made of 7,000 real rose petals that were kept fresh and alive by hummingbird nectar. Her bold accessories included innovative gold glasses, and chunky gold earrings, which undoubtedly made JLO one of the best dressed celebs on the scene.

The gorgeous Sabrina Elba also opted for white in a two piece Schiaparelli set including a white kimono that had a black leather collar and gold chain detailing, that she styled with white tapered pants.
Her black stiletto heels with gold detailing at the toe felt cohesive with her clutch, and dangling gold earrings. We’re sure Idris Elba is always enchanted by his wife’s incredible sense of fashion.
In addition to Sabrina Elba representing for the stylish wives everywhere, Savannah James also made a marvelous entrance. The Ohio native and Interior designer came with her A-game in a black velvet off the shoulder long sleeve blazer that had fur and statement gold buttons down the center.
Her glam was exquisite with a tonal color palette, and softly smudged winged liner. We also loved Savannah’s blonde edgy bob cut that framed her face exceptionally well.
Sitting front row at the Chanel show with the legendary Supermodel Naomi Campbell, alongside Dave Free and one of the greatest rappers of all time, Kendrick Lamar.
Naomi being the class act that she is, opted for a purple and magenta tweed Chanel look with black tights, and dark frames.
Free and Lamar represented for fashion bomb men in their Chanel tweed jackets, with Free layering his graphic shirt with Chanel pearl necklaces, and Lamar rocking a black embellished Chanel beanie with light washed denim jeans and black sneakers for an urban feel.

If you thought Free and Lamar set the tone for men during Paris Fashion Week, Chris Brown really shut it down. The “Look at Me Now” singer looked so fresh and so clean in a full Amiri look at the brand’s AW 23/24 runway show.
So much so, that many of our Fashion Bomb readers were in awe when they saw Chris in all his glory. Instagram user @Lillydee wrote, Chris brown definitely was a head turner 🤗, while @soslavish_ wrote, @chrisbrownofficial killed his look drip god 🔥💧.
Today is the last day of Paris Haute Couture Week, and as you can see celebrities and our favorite style stars did not disappoint. Not only was the craftsmanship phenomenal, but it was aesthetically pleasing to see celebrities put their best fashion foot forward in new and unprecedented ways.
Made in Italy, the coat has leather straps and closures that were inspired by the iconic Louis Vuitton trunk. In addition to a name tag on the sleeve referencing Louis Vuitton staple baggage tags. We loved the bold LV medallion featured on the right side of the coat and bag that felt customary.
While in Utah with her children, Kim posed outside in the $22,600 Louis Vuitton set that she layered over a grey sweatsuit, and paired with color block Nike low top dunks. With her hair slicked back, and mirrored shades, Kardashian gave us sporty vibes.
Mielle Organics CEO, Monique Rodriguez on the other hand stepped out in the same exact LV set, and took It one step further with her brown LV mink scarf and suede thigh high boots. The former nurse turned business mogul, looked prestigious and luxurious while attending the Sundance Festival in Park City, Utah.
If you had to choose between Kim Kardashian and Monique, who do you think wore this Louis Vuitton set better? Vote Below!
