Happy Sunday!
The Cocktails with Claire x Ty Hunter train kicked off in LA with a lovely fete at Riviera 31 at the Sofitel Hotel in Beverly Hills!
I started Cocktails with Claire to nurture a community of fashion enthusiasts offline as we do online at Fashion Bomb Daily! The goal is to offer insight and information to empower future fashion industry insiders! So part 1 of the event included a Breaking into Celebrity Styling Panel featuring Ade Samuel (stylist to Jhene Aiko, Big Sean, Kelly Rowland, and Yara Shahidi), Deonte (stylist to Cassie, Sevyn, and Puff Daddy), Bryon Javar (stylist to Christina Milian, Karrueche Tran, Mel B, Adrienne Bailon, and more), and Ty Hunter (former stylist to Beyonce), moderated by moi:
Our panel took the crowd to church, smashing through misconceptions about celebrity styling, and urging everyone to keep it real, stay humble, and stay focused on your vision.
Beautiful Bombers and Bombshells noshed on finger foods and sipped Ciroc cocktails.
At night, DJ Kiss and DJ Mos turned up the beats.
We were happy to give Toyota Bold Awards to Shaun Ross (Male Model of the Year), Golden Barbie (Female Model of the Year), and Cassie (Beauty Bombshell of the Year):
Aren’t they stunning?
Lots of stylish LA fashion lovers came out to support:
Fashion Bomb staffers Marsha, Cassandre, and Samjah came to help out! They looked gorgeous in sassy skirts and dresses.
All white was totally right for this Bombshell.
I was loving this fashionista’s blue moment!
Cocktails with Claire sponsor De’shaun Chancy of Dare to Have Hair looked lovely in a Balmain blazer, skirt, and Gucci shoes.
Black and white is always a chic choice for a fashion focused event.
Lifestyle Specialist Kenny Burns stopped by in Gucci.
I loved Ade Samuel’s Milly dress and Ade Samuel shoes!
Sevyn Streeter came by! She showed some leg in a high slit skirt and tee.
V Bozeman looked bomb in yellow.
Stylist Zell Swag represented in ripped denim.
Denim was a theme for the night! Golden Barbie paired a corset and pumps with a denim jacket and skirt.
Ty and I grabbed a pic with Beauty Bombshell Cassie, who rocked a Mawssachi jumpsuit and a Mira Mikati jacket.
I posed solo rocking a Balmain blazer and Frame Denim Jeans.
And then proceeded to grab pix with everyone!
We had a blast!
I had so much fun, and can’t wait for our next event (it will be in New York on May 14th, mark your calendars!). After New York, we will be in Houston (June 18th), D.C. (July 20th), then my hometown Atlanta shawty!
I always feel so blessed to be surrounded by many talented, beautiful people. Out of all the things Fashion Bomb Daily has done, Cocktails with Claire just might be the crown jewel.
I’m off to soak up some LA sun! I’ll be here for two weeks, so holla in the comments with things to do and see. I can’t wait!
*This event was Sponsored by Toyota, Cantu, Dare to Have Hair, Rayar Jeans, and Urban Skin RX.
*Special Thank you to Damilola from Riviera 31!
**Thanks Kelley, Marsha, Cassandre, and Samjah for lending your time and talent to this wonderful event! We couldn’t have done it without you!
Demi Lovato was a breath of fresh Spring air at the Smurfs: The Lost Village Los Angeles Premiere, where she sported a $578 Tadashi Shoji Floral Print A-Line Gown:
Her floral print gown features contrast piping, a floor-length, deep v-neckline, and an A-line silhouette.
Happy Saturday, folks!
I was in transit to LA yesterday, so sadly couldn’t get to Look of the Week at that time! But it’s nice and early here, and I have a few more hours before Cocktails with Claire x Ty Hunter LA! So here are the top five most liked looks from the ‘Gram, according to you, the people:
We don’t even know the brand of the dress Nicole Murphy wore while giving face in the mirror for Instagram! It doesn’t even matter–she looked amazing in it! Giuseppe Zanotti sandals added flair and sass to her ensemble, but Mrs. Nicole, I’m gonna need your workout routine. Body on fleek!
Cara Delevingne slayed at the Valerian premiere in a tweed skirt and jacket by Alexandre Vauthier. She stuck true to the runway styling, slipping on a simple pump. This is what you call effortless chic!
Kourtney Kardashian rounds out this week’s best looks, offering the only casual look of the bunch via a DKNY Track Suit and bra that showed off her envious abs.
This is how you look hot on the go. Work it!
And that does it!
Who had your favorite look this week?
Celebrities toasted to the Coach x Rodarte Collection at its launch party in L.A. The collaboration hits stores on April 12th, so mark your calendars!
Let’s get into the celebration’s looks!
Yara Shahidi layered an on-trend, embroidered varsity jacket over a sheer pleat and lace dress. She anchored her look with gold platform sandals. Hot!
It was all about open knits, statement-making handbags, and simple ankle-strap sandals for Chloe + Halle. I live for their style.
Rashida Jones uplifted classic black trousers and a timeless leather tote with a studded white leather jacket, graphic t-shirt, and glossy mules. Cute, no?
Sasha Lane was a vision in a studded leather LWD. Great dress!
Rowan Blanchard layered a graphic, belted sweater dress over a sheer floral lace frock. Her accessories were so on point.
So Cocktails with Claire x Ty Hunter LA will include an informational Breaking into Fashion Panel featuring Ade Samuel (stylist to Kelly Rowland), Derek Roche (stylist to Puff Daddy and Cassie), Prince Deonte (Stylist to Puff Daddy and Cassie), Bryon Javar (stylist to Karrueche, Mel B, Adrienne Bailon, Christina Milian) and Ty Hunter (Beyonce’s former stylist).

Her lightweight cotton and viscose-blend LBD features a fitted bodice, deep polo-shirt neckline, tonal beading, A-shape skirt, hand-cut butterfly shaped sequin embellishment, and a patent leather belt nipping in her waist.
She’d look beautiful in just about anything!
