There’s a lot of materialism and pressure associated with fashion regarding “where it’s from..” and I often tell everyone that fashion is all about expressing yourself so whether it cost 1 dollar and YOU like it…nothing else matters.”

Sunday marked another successful Cocktails with Claire x Ty Hunter! This time around, we took our traveling fashion networking party down south to Ty’s Houston stomping grounds.



Part 1 comprised a panel featuring Rachel Roff of Urban Skin RX, De’Shaun Chancy of Dare to Have Hair, Ty Hunter, and myself, moderated by event coordinator extraordinaire, Chimee Ahaiwe. Our talk centered on topics of entrepreneurship, stepping out on faith, building a solid team, and more.



After we chatted, we sipped on drinks by Justini Cocktails and noshed on hors d’oeuvres by One Feisty Chef while shopping from our vendors, included Glamology, Chi Chi L’Amour, Lamik Beauty, Hair of Nature, Save the Edges, ModChic Couture, and Dear Designer.

Fashion Bombshell of the Day alum Nneka aka @QueenofSleeves added a statement necklace to an all black look.

Monse’s signatures have taken hold of the industry and the global stylish set—menswear-inspired silhouettes given modern spins and classic shirts and stripes gone eccentric. Prints also peek through on flounce hem skirts with zip-accented hemlines that literally appear to almost fall off: just the right amount of edge for the already daring Monse lover.

Prints continue with Fall-perfect plaid, the brand’s signature stripes, and colorful patchwork florals.

Denim is uplifted on wearable, yet flirty pumps, oversized denim jackets that will definitely be worth the splurge if you don’t already have one in your closet, jeans with off-centre zip plackets for a cool edge, and over-the-knee boots that we cannot wait to get our hands on.

And that aforementioned stylish set? Well it includes Diane Kruger, Thandie Newton, Claire Danes, and Fan Bingbing. All of these ladies will look stellar in the bevy of cocktail-ready dresses presented. An off-the-shoulder floral print frock feels oh-so-right for Kruger, while the Chinese actress could absolutely pull off the black and white vertical stripes of a cold-shoulder design.

Workout gear is a huge deal in the fashion realm these days.  If you’re going to sweat, you might as well look trendy doing it, right?  Some of us take pride in wearing the same old leggings to the gym each day, and if you are guilty of this crime – it’s time for a workout gear upgrade.  Below are 10 workout looks that you can mimic from the most stylish celebrities.  Also, we’ve picked out a few items that you can jump start your workout wardrobe with.  Let’s get into it!

Dolce & Gabbana went big for their Spring/Summer 2018 menswear collection casting Snoop Dogg’s son Cordell Broadus, Shaquille O’Neal’s son Myles Oneal, Sean “P.Diddy” Combs son Christian Combs, and Rev Run’s son Diggy Simmons to rock their runway.
Stefano Gabbana and Domenico Dolce knew what they were doing. The show, dubbed Millennials, showcased the swagger of the next generation, and not surprisingly gained loads of buzz.
Rapper Snoop Dogg’s son, Cordell Broadus, wore a dark magenta patterned suit and tie, stitched with a gold lion-shaped emblem, and black embroidered loafers.
This isn’t Diggy’s first time to walk the catwalk (he first appeared in Dolce & Gabbana’s Fall 2017 show). He wore a sleek pearl-like suit and tie with a patterned button down, and black espadrille loafers.

Diddy must be proud, as his son Christian Combs came out wearing a king’s crown! His look continued with a red, white and black detailed bomber jacket with words and symbols representing love on the sleeves. He also wore a detailed button-down styled with black ruffles; relaxed pinstripe jogger pants and loafers with card game symbols.
Like most of the young lads here, this was Myles O’Neal’s first runway show for D&G. He wrote on Instagram, “Pleasure to walk for @Dolce & Gabbana, thank you!” He came out sporting a shiny dark floral blazer, paired with a cranberry red button down and bow-tie; cropped black pants and white printed sneakers (no laces!).
I love how Dolce & Gabbana continues to push the bar forward and showcase trendsetters of all ages.
