Happy Friday, y’all! I know you’re all getting ready to get lit this holiday weekend. Before you run off and do so, let’s take a look at who you thought had the hottest looks of the week based on your likes on Instagram:
Christina Milian looked sizzling hot on the red carpet of the Maxim party in a satin Fashion Nova dress. I just love the tones of this dress against her skin tone, it literally brought the dress to life. The corset bodice cinched her waist, accentuating her petite frame. A top knot was a great choice as it highlighted her chiseled features. Styling this look with soft neutral colors was exactly the way to go and kept the dress as the focal piece. Two thumbs up for this one.
Ms. Tammy Rivera gave us body in this Discount Universe dress. She wore this number to the BET awards after party. Nothing says party like a bomb sequins dress; add to that a pop of color and it is on! I just love how the dress has “You will never own me” displayed on the front as she clearly teased everyone with her voluptuous curves’ killing them softly, I’m sure. This is definitely a win for Tammy!
Sevyn looked regal in a Thai Nguyen Atelier dress at a Pre-BET awards event. Look how beautifully the dress flowed on her body with a plunging neckline to kill. The two-toned frock complimented her radiant skin making it a match made in heaven. Long tresses have been a thing as of late with celebs and Sevyn rocked the do fiercely.
Lil Mama stunned in a suit by Hottie and Lord at the Maxim party. One would think a party of it’s type would warrant something a bit more alluring, rather than a suit; however, Lil Mama showed us otherwise and did so quite well. What makes this look work for the event is the luscious velvet material of the suit and the peek of lace underneath the suit allowing for a more sensuality. Execution is everything when it comes to styling and this was executed to perfection.
Gabrielle makes the cut once again this week in a chic Elie Saab set in Paris. I’m quite sure the juxtaposition of the voluminous ensemble is exactly what landed her back on the list. In keeping up with the theme she wore her hair in voluminous curls as well. There are just too many ways to dissect this winning look.
For starters, ivory is a color that goes with just about every skin tone. When paired with a wine colored lip, you’ve got dynamite! How about that little bit of sass she gives with the plunging neck line that flows right into a peplum waistline. No way she wouldn’t be a contender looking this bomb!
So I’ll admit it: a lot of swag comes my way! Some I use, some I give away, but most beauty products just end up gathering dust!
While in Dallas for Cocktails with Claire, however, a kind rep gifted me some Elle Vie Body Butters, and I decided to give it a try. The whipped, creamy body butters go on smooth and leave your legs glistening. This, my friends, is a Bomb Product.
Elle Vie Body Butters are chock full of yummy, skin moisturizing ingredients like Shea Butter, Mango Butter, Apricot Kernel Oil, Organic Olive Oil, Macadamia Nut Oil, Sweet Almond Oil, Argan Oil, and Vitamin E. In addition to making skin glisten, it also smells great!
Their Date Night Body Butter, which I have and love, emits a, “blend of exotic tropical hibiscus, jasmine, and mango followed by notes of amber and sandalwood.” Their Girls Night Out Butter (another fave) smells of the soft, calming scent of chamomile and the herbal scent of sage.
As if it couldn’t get any more Bomb, these body buttes are affordable, with prices starting at $3.
I’d encourage you to try it out here. Peruse their whole selection here.
Will you be trying it out?
He writes, “I would describe my style as limitless; unafraid to try new things and not bound by any box.”
“If everyday I dressed the same, I wouldn’t look forward to getting dressed tomorrow.”

See anything you like?
Tom Ford has literally done it all. He’s been the creative director at both Gucci and YSL. He’s directed two Oscar-nominated films. He’s done see-now, buy-now, shows that combined both womenswear and menswear, and has varied between huge, star-studded runway shows and exclusive showroom presentations. In short: he’s a multi-hyphenate dynamo. And naturally, his Spring 2018 menswear was as chic as polished as ever.
He returned to the classic showroom presentation format this time-around, with his trademark, expertly-tailored suiting on display. Cuffed at the ankle in shades ranging from chocolate to blush, Ford undoubtedly executed what he does best to absolute perfection.
Ford fully intends for the men wearing his brand to swim next Spring, as he presented an array of thigh-baring swim shorts that call for a few rounds of squats.
Denim felt anything but basic, when paired with sumptuous suede and super chic loafers. Hoodies and trainers even got the Ford seasonal treatment.
My favorite ensembles were the most casual pieces—printed blazers, layered henleys, skinnies, calf hair jackets. If you’re spending your coins on Ford’s designs, you should definitely be able to wear them day-in and day-out.
Drake wore Tom Ford earlier this week, thus he may be bold enough to pull off the collection’s animal print sportscoat. Other dazzling blazers in bold hues and eye-catching patterns were not for the faint of heart, but might tickle the fancy of the designer’s other dappers fans like Jake Gyllenhaal and Justin Timberlake.
The Jenner sisters are being slammed on social media for their latest t-shirt collection , which consists of $125 vintage tees featuring images of deceased music legends like Tupac and Biggie.
The controversy occurred when the ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ reality stars posted themselves wearing the tees, with their faces transposed over those of the late rappers. Biggie’s mother Voletta Wallace voiced her disapproval, taking to Instagram to say, , “I am not sure who told @kyliejenner and @kendalljenner that they had the right to do this. The disrespect of these girls to not even reach out to me or anyone connected to the estate baffles me. I have no idea why they feel they can exploit the deaths of 2pac and my Son Christopher to sell a t-shirt.”
The limited edition t-shirt collection also features photos of rock bands Metallica, Kiss, and Pink Floyd, with Kendall and Kylie’s faces over the band logos. While the rock band tees remain on the site, the Tupac and Biggie products have been removed.
Sounds like they’ve been in a lot of hot water recently. They have more than enough resources to do the proper research or pay to use people’s likenesses–I wonder why they don’t do their due diligence?
