Her graphic t-shirt is long enough to wear as a dress! It hails from the brand’s Summer ’17 collection, with a contrasting red and black “Thanks Girls” motif.
Her black leather shoulder bag features a contrast, yellow detachable and adjustable web shoulder strap, a front flap with a magnetic snap button closure, and front binder clip detailing.
She’s killing it in the style department this week!
Hope you all had a fabulous week! Summer is winding down, but that’s not stopping us, we are still revving up hot looks on a weekly. We’ve got the run down on who you deemed worthy of your double taps on Instagram to wrap up yet another fashion filled week. Here’s who made the cut:
MJB’s career has spanned over two decades. Something is to be said about how she has managed to stay in tip top shape after all these years. She hit the stage in a Balmain houndstooth set serving bad ass diva vibes as she strut her stuff. Can you not tell she was feelin’ herself as she jammed to the beat with her legs poppin’ and shades rockin’? The monochromatic look was just right for the R&B queen.
Niatia has bloomed into the beautiful black goddess that she is. On the Breakfast Club this week, she shared that she would like to be referred to as Niatia as oppose to Lil’ Mama hence the Niatia reference. Of course this speaks to her budding evolution and we are not mad at it! The actress wowed at the LA premiere of “When Love Kills” in an ivory Michael Costello number. The voluminous dress and big hair is reminiscent of Diana Ross. One can never go wrong when channeling such a legend. Kudos to her style team for nailing this look!
The Harvey’s are no strangers to winning in the fashion game. After all, they are kin to Steve Harvey, one of the best dressed men in Hollywood. Karli Harvey celebrated her birthday this week in a chic t-shirt and jeans look played up with a Dries Van Noten printed overcoat. It’s always a delight to see how she rocks her signature pixie cut that she wears incredibly well. Wishing her and her twin Brandi a fabulous new year! And that we know it will be!
Heart be still! How can your heart not flutter when you lay eyes on this adorable mini-mogul? Asahd hit the stage with father, DJ Khaled, at a Billboards music event, but not before he was prepped with noise cancelling headphones to keep his little eardrums safe and sound from the crowd as they chanted his name. Of course, he was dressed to the nines in a Gucci onesie to greet his roaring fans. Asahd consistently raises the bar in the kid fashion realm. We’re just happy to bear witness!
How magnificent does Tyra look in this striped gown by Fouad Sarkis Couture? The dress boasts many features that suit the super models gorgeous frame. For one, the puff sleeved detail on the shoulder adds personality and edge to the dress. Then there’s the resplendence of the deep plunge that shows off her cleavage; a cinched waist line that graduates to a full billowy skirt, add to that, the perfect hairdo. Simply gorgeous!

3. Kathleen Lights X ColourPop
When ColourPop partnered with beauty guru Kathleen Fuentes for Kathleen Lights X ColourPop it was everything we imagined. Gold, gold, and a splash of pink! Kathleen curated a line famous for its matte, yet metallic finishes on the products. Shop the capsule here.
4. ILUVSARAHII X ColourPop
Another beauty guru the brand tapped for a collection was Karen Sarahi Gonzalez, also known as ILUVSARAHII. The chic products carry names like “$aucy,” “Curvii,” and “Chic-y.” This partnership focuses a lot on neutrals with dark hues. If you’re looking for the perfect products for Fall, then you’ve found your culprit! Shop the products here.
5. Kae Pop x ColourPop
Karrueche’s first line with ColourPop was Kae Pop. The Claw’s star curated matte glosses and cream powdered eyeshadows for her first collaboration with the brand. After doing so well she landed two more, and hopefully a third very soon. There aren’t much of these products left because they were released a few years ago, but you can still purchase kits here.
6. Amanda Steele x ColourPop
17-year-old beauty blogger of MakeupbyMandy24 , IMG model, and now Amanda Steele has a makeup collection under her belt. The six-piece collection launched on December, 2016, and it is just as colorful as the guru herself. What’s even more exciting for this blogger/model, is that she helped introduce ColourPop’s latest pressed powder eye-shadow product to the masses! Her eyeshadow palette is still available. Shop here for it now.
7. Alexis Ren x Colour Pop
Instagram’s fave, model Alexis Ren is another one of ColourPop’s latest collabs. This line screams sexy, sporty and cool all in one. The line launched in February and consists of four beauty looks to choose from that includes the blotted lip and pressed powder, which is considered to be a must have! Shop the collection here.
8. Hello Kitty x ColourPop
Hello Kitty is an iconic brand alone in the Japanese culture, so a collaboration makeup launch only makes perfect sense. The collection launched in November, 2016 with full inspiration from the Hello Kitty cutesy world that consisted of singles, four eye-shadow shades, a face kit and a limited edition make up bag. What more could you have asked for from this adorable collab duo?
9. Feral Creature x ColourPop
One of the first collaborations to jump ship was with style blogger Eugenie Grey of feralcreature.com dubbed “Creature,” a seductive burgundy red lip color that represented the blogger’s style and influence of dark tones throughout her looks. This collab launched in 2014.
10. ItsMyRayeRaye x ColourPop
Another one of the American brand’s first collabs was in 2015 with popular beauty YouTuber @Itsmyrayeraye. Her collection consisted of a lip line called “StingRaye” and “Rayezor.” Mauve pink was the signature look for this collection, which gave off a subtle, yet confident look at it’s best.
We give much respect to ColourPop and their choice of collabs. We can’t wait for many more beauty guru’s to look forward to in the near future!
Today’s Bombshell is Shara from the UK, who’s currently based in London.
She writes, “I’m a believer in the words of designer Ozwald Boateng who said ‘Everyone can wear colour, the question is about finding the right shade, there is a momentary trend to dark colours because when the financials are not that great people go for black navy and grey’.”
“Living in London where the weather can be unpredictable and grey, I’ll be the girl who wears a canary yellow coat when it’s pouring rain. I love bright colours so a pop of it is always injected into my style somewhere, and my outfit is determined by however I’m feeling that day.”
“I completely adore the style of Solange Knowles and Janelle Monae, while also drawing inspiration from my Jamaican heritage for colour palettes.”
“Being a designer myself I like to mix some of my own pieces with items I already have in my wardrobe (e.g Blue Printed Co ord, & pink jacket) which makes getting dressed even more exciting. If you would like to follow me on my socials please see my handles below, J.”
Fashion Bombshell of the Day is a feature showcasing the singular style of Fashion Bomb Readers. Anyone who grew up in the 90’s and the ’00’s were undoubtedly fans of R&B singer Aaliyah, and impacted by her untimely death. The Bombshell was a trendsetter and a true beauty, noted for her simple yet stunning makeup looks and swooped bang hairstyle.
MAC has answered the call of countless Aaliyah fans, announcing today that they will be producing a collection inspired by the sweet songstress, gone too soon. In an Instagram post, they wrote, “Aaliyah is truly one in a million — an unstoppable icon whose groundbreaking work in R&B music and film inspires us all. Today we join her countless fans in celebrating her with the announcement of the M·A·C Aaliyah collection. You made it happen! Stay tuned in 2018.”
Though we don’t know what will be in this collection, we can predict large, wispy lashes and 90’s favorites including brown lip pencils, lip glass, and perhaps some bright shadows and berry lipsticks for added umph.
Today’s Bomb Product comes from popular online boutique Missguided. Bring the sass in this white printed “Bye Ken” t-shirt courtesy of the Barbie x Missguided collection.
This bold printed piece retails from $31 featuring a “Bye Ken” logo and a pink barbie graphic.
If you’re as addicted as I am to Instagram, then IG story stalking may be a part of your morning rituals. But before you reach for your makeup brush, you may want to add this week’s beauty crush to your list of favorite Instagram beauty bosses. Enter Kristen Noel Crawley @KristenNoelCrawley. She’s become somewhat of an authority in the world of beauty -being an ELLE.com beauty contributor – sharing her beauty regimen from cleansing to contouring.
If you’ve been following her, you’re hip to all the cleansers, sheet masks, serums, and La Mer moisturizers she uses. They seem to work wonders as her skin is practically flawless. It’s really the perfect canvas for a good beat.
During summers, especially for daytime, a palette of nudes and light pinks works best. For coverage, she swears by Chantecaille’s Future Skin Foundation. It’s light and after application, provides overall smoothness and conceals minor imperfections without appearing too caked on.
She loves playing up the shape of her almond eyes with a good winged eyeliner or a pop of bold color on her lids. How cool is this lilac shade?
When it comes to her lips, she doesn’t mind sporting some color. Whether an orange shade for outfits with splashes of color or a classic hue like Dior’s Rouge Lipstick in 999, Crawley’s look is always subtle, yet incredibly striking.
Known for her bob with accompanying center part…
…she can switch it up on you, giving you braids and cornrows while vacationing in Bora Bora. Slay!
The beauty is more than just a pretty face, however. Her enthusiasm for all things beauty and makeup was probably the catalyst for her most recent venture, KNC Beauty Lip Masks. Tested and proven on A-listers like Emma Stone and KKW, the collagen infused lip masks fight dry lips in balmy weather.
Not only that, she heads her own jewelry line: KDIA. Worn by the likes of Rihanna, her line features tons of cool trinkets, like bejeweled candy colored necklaces and emoji pendants, all dipped in gold and luxurious gems, no less.
She’s also punctuated her résumé by being a beauty ambassador for luxury brand, Dior. *sigh* The stuff dreams are made of, right?
All-in-all, Kristen Noel Crawley encompasses what it means to be a girl boss. Beauty contributor, style crusader (she’s impeccably dressed, like always), running two businesses, and a mom of two. How she finds the time to do it all, we’ll never know.
One thing that won’t remain a mystery, though, is how gorgeous she is while getting it all done.
