The Jenner sisters are being slammed on social media for their latest t-shirt collection , which consists of $125 vintage tees featuring images of deceased music legends like Tupac and Biggie.
The controversy occurred when the ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ reality stars posted themselves wearing the tees, with their faces transposed over those of the late rappers. Biggie’s mother Voletta Wallace voiced her disapproval, taking to Instagram to say, , “I am not sure who told @kyliejenner and @kendalljenner that they had the right to do this. The disrespect of these girls to not even reach out to me or anyone connected to the estate baffles me. I have no idea why they feel they can exploit the deaths of 2pac and my Son Christopher to sell a t-shirt.”
The limited edition t-shirt collection also features photos of rock bands Metallica, Kiss, and Pink Floyd, with Kendall and Kylie’s faces over the band logos. While the rock band tees remain on the site, the Tupac and Biggie products have been removed.
Sounds like they’ve been in a lot of hot water recently. They have more than enough resources to do the proper research or pay to use people’s likenesses–I wonder why they don’t do their due diligence?
The German brand widely known for it’s comfort has reached a new route of comfy, as Birkenstock recently launched their very first fashion show at Paris Fashion Week.
They introduced 40 new shoe designs: “perforated footbed, rubberized leather, clip closures, subtle logo application, a super-grip sole, embellishments with all-over rivets, and new metallics,” as mentioned on their website.
Birkenstock themed their show in botanical garden vibes with greenery surrounding the runway.
The looks blended well too, as they used Rihanna’s stylist, Mel Ottenberg to incorporate with their minimalist vision by styling models in business casual looks that consisted of patent leather jumpsuits, cotton tops, ruffle trousers, snakeskin belts and detailed bags, and more.

Chances are if you grew up during the nineties, you had this week’s throwback blasting through your casette player during personal moments of both heartbreak and triumph. With soul-quaking lyrics sung over a melodic piano and hard hitting drums, Hip-Hop Soul was born, and Mary J. Blige is still the reigning queen of this genre.
Just as noteworthy as her music is her sense of style. From fitted caps and baseball jerseys to couture gowns on red carpets, MJB has never shied away from serving a look to get the people talking.
The nineties were a time of bold prints and lots of urban flair when it came to Blige. Baseball jerseys, oversized athletic jackets were a part of her steeze, as her style reflected that of many of the girls from the Bronx during this era. And who can forget those iconic “Not Gon’ Cry” sunglasses? MJB began to experiment with her style even further, especially during red carpet appearances. Outfits gilded in gold paisley, baroque prints and vivid fur coats draped over sparkly gowns became the norm whenever Blige hit the carpet.
Eventually, the silhouettes of her outfits became more streamlined. More column dresses featuring halters or asymmetry at the shoulders or sleeves came into play as Mary became more fashion forward. Mary also loves to switch things up when the occasion doesn’t call for a floor length gown. She kills it in separates, especially in pieces that feature geometric prints. Though she’s been in the game for almost thirty years, there really is no stopping Mary as the slay is still consistent. Column dresses are still her favorite silhouette to consider, but these days, she may be inclined to show a little leg, evidenced by her saucy La Perla gown worn at this year’s Met Gala. From Reem Acra to Gucci and J. Mendel, and with Jason Bolden as her style architect, how can she do wrong?
So here’s to Mary J. Blige, a pioneer of the music world who defined the genre of Hip-Hop Soul, a beacon of hope to women who struggle to keep a positive outlook on life, and a style icon with looks to last a lifetime.
The LA Premiere of Spider-Man: Homecoming bowed last night, with a smattering of stars in attendance. Take a look:
Zendaya better SLAY! She was a vision in a custom Ralph and Russo pink gown, pink Casadei pumps, and Bulgari jewels. Law Roach did that. This is definitely a frontrunner for Look of the Week!
Karen Gillan plucked a velvety Self Portrait Fall 2017 dress for the event.
Marisa Tomei stepped out a lace and metallic detailed Zuhair Murad gown.
Louis Vuitton is not pleased with Amazon right now! The French giant has taken Amazon to task for allowing sellers to promote and sell knockoffs on the world-wide e-commerce site.
According to Fashionista, it’s “war” between the two. Louis Vuitton won the first round once a judge called on a preliminary injunction hearing which will block all Amazon sellers involved in this counterfeiting business.
This case will continue until a final determination is reached. If Louis Vuitton wins, the company is expected to receive $60-million from Amazon for allowing sellers to mock the authentic logo and designs.
