Who Wore It Better? Rita Ora vs. Ryan Destiny in Off-White’s Fall 2017 Electric Blue and Silver Detail Velveteen Coat Dress With Houndstooth Over The Knee Pointy Toe Boots

It’s another style showdown! Beauty Ryan Destiny slayed the ‘Gram in the same Off-White Fall 2017 Electric Blue and Silver Detail Velveteen Coat Dress With Houndstooth Over The Knee Pointy Toe Boots that songstress Rita Ora wore while filming her ‘Anywhere’ music video in New York City:

Rita partnered her off the runway ‘fit with large earrings and wavy tousled blonde locks, and a nude lip.

Ryan opted for a hairstyle with a center part and a Fall perfect pout.

The difference in these ladies’ looks all comes down to the ensemble’s fit.

Although both women look stunning in their own right, Rita slightly edges out Ryan for the win. For me, the fit of the coat dress coupled with where the boot hits the thigh, appears to be a bit more sartorially pleasing.

What do you think? Who wore it better?

On The Scene: Tidal X Benefit Concert in Brooklyn with Beyoncé in Walter Mendez, Chloe and Halle in Christian Siriano, Cardi B in Victoria Hayes, and More!

Miami wasn’t the only city boomin’ with our favorite celebs last night! Brooklyn brought together hip-hop artists for a cause at Jay-Z’s Tidal X Benefit Concert at the Barclay Center. The concert featured performances from Jay-Z, Jennifer Lopez, Chris Brown, Cardi B, and more! It was a night full of fun, and all of it was to benefit the victims in the wake of Hurricane Harvey, Hurricane Irma, Hurricane Maria and the earthquakes in Mexico City. Take a look at the carpet!

Queen B was in the building showing off that bomb post-baby body that we can’t get enough of! She wore a custom emerald green gown by Walter Mendez, Lorraince Schwartz earrings, and an Alexander Wang x Judith Leiber money roll clutch. I am loving the purple and green together!

Chloe and Halle hit the carpet in black and white Christian Siriano ensembles. The cutouts and ruffles look great on them. So graceful and classy!

Fat Joe performed twice last night! Once with JLo and another time with Remy Ma. He wore a red tracksuit on the carpet. Looking good!

It’s been a while since we’ve seen DJ Khaled on the carpet alone without baby Asahd! He wore all black with Jordan’s before he hit the stage with many fan favorites as usual.

Iggy Azalea posed on the carpet sporting a chic athleisure look. The royal blue hues really made her look pop!

Remy Ma sure made a statement with her Jennifer Le fur vest and furry Fendi boots. Remy was also on the long list of performers last night!

Our girl Cardi B hit the carpet in a sheer dress by Victoria Hayes. Her earrings, also by Victoria Hayes complemented the ensemble so well!

Willow Smith posed on the carpet before her performance with a long wool coat and Nike sneakers. The older she gets the more she embraces her own personal style, you go Willow!

Beauty Crush Wednesday Fashion Bomb Exclusive Editorial: Melanie Fiona by Ben Duggan Styled by Michael Mann

We have an exclusive interview and photo shoot for our Beauty Crush Wednesday! Behold, soulful songstress Melanie Fiona.

The Canadian born Guyanese beauty took a break from hit making to raise her son, Cameron, but is now back with unparalleled heat and fire! She has an upcoming album title, “The Next Train” and a new look to match.

She posed for Ben Duggan’s lens in looks by Michael Costello, Lanvin, Valery Kovalska, and more, styled by Michael Mann and Tyler Jacobs of Aki x Mann. Maurice Cornell @killss._ coiffed her raven tresses into couture hairstyles while Make up Artist David Rodriguez @drodbeauty applied wispy lashes and endless shimmer.

Read our interview below:
Tell us about your latest project?

I just released “Remember U”, which is the latest single off my upcoming album “Next Train”. It’s classically Melanie Fiona… big vocals, big ballad… about what else?…Love. I wanted this year’s release to be something that my core R&B fanbase would appreciate. I released “Bite The Bullet” back in 2015 which will also be on the album. The album is rooted in soul, but has many different genre elements… Jack Splash (CeeLo), Dre Harris (Jill Scott) and Jerry Wonda (Fugees) all produced on the album, so you know musically it’s on point. All the songs are personal moments of reflection, that inspired progression. Forward movement, just like a train.

Why did you decide to take a musical hiatus?

Well, life sort of decided that for me lol. One year into recording this album, I got pregnant with my son, Cameron. For me, it never really felt like a complete hiatus because I was still doing shows and working in the studio. When he was born, I definitely took some time to slow down to be with him and to focus on learning how to be a mother. That time was very necessary. It gave me the time I feel every woman needs and deserves to adjust into her new role. It also gave me the opportunity to re-evaluate where I was at musically and challenge myself to be a better artist. I feel like I’ve grown so much in the last 3 years.

What can we expect from you musically and fashion wise?
Culture. I’m a Canadian Caribbean Cancer Moonchild. I’m very inspired right now to be outspoken and unapologetic for who I am, how I feel and where I come from. Being a woman of colour is a powerful role today, more than ever before, and I intend on celebrating and expressing that as much as possible. I’m always striving to inspire and encourage women to be their better selves. Bold. Strong. Colourful.

What do you want the world to know?

Give Love, to yourself and others. The revolution is coming… xo

Congratulations to the Wopsters! Keyshia Kaoir and Gucci Mane Wed with Keyshia in $40,000 Custom Charbel Zoe Wedding Gown and $10,000 Youseff Al Jasmi Dress and the Gucci in Custom Hideoki Bespoke

Keyshia Kaoir and Gucci Mane got married in a blitz of diamonds and bling, with an all white ceremony at the Four Seasons in Miami. For the occasion, Keyshia Kaoir wore a $40,000 custom Charbel Zoe gown, while Gucci smiled bright in Hideoki Bespoke.

Sparkling gems decorated her hair, and filled her bouquet. Gorgeous! Keyshia’s glam dress consisted of a 25 foot ostrich feather train, the same length that Princess Diana had. Emulating the Princess’ big wedding style, yet Mrs. Davis went for elegant as oppose to traditional. The jaw-dropping dress was all Swarovski crystals and had real ostrich feathers.

Of course Keyshia had to do an outfit change! Look 2 was a $10,000 fringed, light catching gown by Yousef Al Jasmi.

The wedding was lovely! They are definitely giving me couple goals.

Congratulations to the Wopsters!
