@d_almondjoy was inspired by Sza for Halloween.  This is a good one!

Fresh to death!  Terin, @divad1, totally showed us that being dead won’t keep her from being fly.  She participated in the Halloween festivities as a Glam Mummy.  Love it!

The Streeter Family has stolen my heart. Adria, @adriastreeter, and her clan channeled Grease Lighting for Halloween.  Adorable!

Power to the People!  Sasha, @jackgunz_, and her crew stayed woke for Halloween as Black Panther Activists.  I’m down!

 

As If!  Tajma and her friend mimicked Cher and Dionne from the classic 90’s movie, Clueless.  Totally rad!

Anything for Selenas!  Reader Jasmin Foote created her own Selena costume for Halloween, and I must say she did an excellent job!

Oh this one took me back!  Ellisha, @llishababe, literally morphed into Denise Huxtable for Halloween.  I had to do a double take with this one!

Nayhiba, @nayhiba, gave most Halloween costumers a run for their money in this Rhianna-inspired, Met Gala look.  This is definitely on another level!

Kim Kardashian never stops working! Though the current mom of two will be welcoming her third child into her family soon, it’s still all systems go in the push for her businesses. Kardashian has confirmed that her next endeavor will be a KKW Fragrance:

Last week, she announced the forthcoming scent with an Instagram post of its first black-and-white campaign image. Naturally, she stars in the photo, which was shot by Mert & Marcus. Further credits for the shoot include famed hairstylist Chris Appleton and makeup guru Meredith Baraf. In the caption, Kardashian also implored her followers to sign-up for emails at kkwfragrance.com, where they can buy the scent on November 15th.

Kardashian is no fragrance amateur, as she launched seven scents between 2009 and 2014. But this is the first she’s created under her company, under her complete purview. And she described the fragrance as “crystal gardenia” in a recent W interview. We can’t wait to smell it!

October is all about Breast Cancer Awareness, and we’re all about supporting the cause in style! Celeb and fashion brands have created items whose proceeds go towards breast cancer research and treatment. Behold a short list:

Alicia Keys x Stella McCartney

Alicia Keys is all about raising awareness, and this time she has teamed up with Stella McCartney, who designed the Ophelia lingerie set that’s lacey in Poppy Pink. In hopes to fight the 42 percent of African-Americans who are at risk for the disease, this campaign will support the Memorial Sloan Kettering Breast Examination Center of Harlem. The Soft Cup Bra is $160, while the matching briefs are $90.

 

2. Nike x Sneaker Room

Owner of Sneaker Room, Suraj Kaufmann teamed up with Nike to develop color ways of the ‘Get Money’ sneaker that NBA player,  Reggie Miller sported once sported in the ’90s. It is now dubbed as the ‘Air More Money’ sneaker. According to Complex, these sneakers will debut on Oct. 30th at the Sneaker Room boutique in New Jersey and online. You can get them in pink/white for $180 (only 360 pairs available); in a variation of white/pink with only 100 pairs in-stock for $500 or get all three sneakers if you splurge on the black/pink pair for $2000 with only 40 pairs available. So far, more than $40,000 in pre-orders were raised and all the proceeds will go towards fighting Breast Cancer.

 

3. Tory Burch: Shop For A Cure

 

Tory Burch is raising awareness by dropping a Shop For A Cure line featuring a $209 Parker tote, $30 roll-on perfume, a $209 wallet and/or metallic wallet chain which supports the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. 25 percent of the proceeds will go towards BCRF. 4. Rebecca Taylor

Designer, Rebecca Taylor is all for the cause. The brand is donating 50 percent of their proceeds towards the Triple Negative Breast Cancer Foundation with each purchase of the $325 Rose Clip Chiffon Ruffle top.

Timberland is in the spirit, as the brand developed a $170 limited-edition pink waterproof hiking boot, that benefits one of the largest campaigns to fight Breast Cancer, the Susan G. Komen Foundation. According to their website, the nature brand promises that they will donate $50,000 if these hot pink boots sale or not.

 

7. GLAM4GOOD x ALEPEL x @angelesalmuna

These $140 architectural handpainted shoes by Adriana, known on Instagram as @alepel_byadriana, teamed up with @angelesalmuna and @glam4good  to create Alepel for a Cause in hopes to raise awareness with select styles of floral printed mules. All proceeds go towards GlAM4GOOD, a nonprofit organization that’s all about empowering fashionistas through social change like Breast Cancer Awareness. White after Labor Day?  Don’t mind if we do!  Reminiscent of the 60s monochromatic look, the white boot is a refined throwback that is making its way back to the top of the style charts.  This fad has been spotted on celebrities like Rihanna, Kourtney Kardashian, and Cardi B to name a few. However, the Fashion Bomb team wants to see how our readers are sporting this look.

We did a call, and the fashion bombshells definitely answered.  Get into the white boot craze below!

Simple and chic is the route Shola Shodipo @thefreestyller chose for her white boots.  Her black blazer and white turtleneck allows her white booties pop!

Palesa Molikeng @otc_styles kept it classic by pairing her white booties with a denim jumpsuit.

Dr. Keena Blackmon @thesportsfashionista made two fashion statements – one with her patterned coat and one with her white booties.  Sophisticated!

You would think that this 25-year-old soulful singer and New Orleans native, August Alsina has been in the music industry for some time, but no, he’s just getting warmed up. With only being signed to Def Jam Records for two years, it’s hard to believe that his credibility as an artist has skyrocketed to the level it has. With his unique style, one can’t help but delve into the looks of this handsome man with the stunning smile. His admirable persona has even lead him to become a close family friend to some of the top legends in the entertainment industry (namely Will and Jada Pinkett Smith) as he’s always seen spending quality time with the Smith family. Armed with an unwavering confidence and a vibrant southern swag, it’s only fitting that August be named our Man Crush of the Day.

His pride in his individuality allows him to be adventurous with his natural hair. Fans have sometimes “Hmm’ed…” at his choices of varied hairstyles. He has laid edges, braids, twitsts, rocked both short and long  ‘dos, and even a perm.

Also noteworthy in his hairstyle arsenal, would be is once signature man-bun. He rocked that with the fierceness!

Alsina’s style is underrated. He has a very suave Japanese street style that separates him sartorially from most artists. He is comfortable with his image and is emboldened by his signature fashion forwardness.

One of the singer’s other signature looks is his headgear, specifically head wraps. He wears it typically tied to the side with his neatly laid hair to complete his looks.

Alsina loves to finish off his ‘fit with outer layer pieces including trench coats, bomber jackets and more.

Prints are a big deal to this crooner and he shows a great affinity for those that embody sleek and graphic prints. He’s been seen in many bold and vibrant ensembles that include jacquard to color block, florals and more.
