It’s that time of year again, and no, I’m not talking about the magnificent meals we’ll be eating overindulging on tomorrow for Thanksgiving. It’s Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show time, and the intimates giant took their star-studded event to Shanghai, China. A bevy of beautiful models strutted their stuff in the brand’s slinky pieces, including some crafted by Balmain’s head honcho, Olivier Rousteing.
The pièce de résistance of Victoria’s Secret’s annual showcase, however, is always the brand’s ornately bejeweled Fantasy Bra. Valued at $2 million and crafted by Mouawad, this week’s beauty crush, Lais Ribeiro, was given the esteemed honor of wearing it.
The Brazilian bombshell’s modeling career skyrocketed in 2009 landing major ad campaigns and walking for Victoria’s Secret since 2010.
The raven-haired beauty became an Angel in 2015 and led the charge for seventeen black models, a record for the production.
Aside from being hair and skin goals, and being more than deserving of rocking this year’s Fantasy Bra, she’s been lauded for her professionalism and sweet personality, two things essential for succeeding in this career.
What say you to this week’s Beauty Crush? Will you be tuning in on November 28th to watch the show?
Today’s Bombshell is Jayria from Detroit, Michigan.
She writes, “I would describe my style as just that; MINE. It is versatile and comfortable, sexy and chic.”
“I love pops of colors and dainty jewelry. I love trying new things when it comes to how I dress and I rarely dress for the occasion. I dress to reflect my mood. There’s something about wearing all black with pops of red on your nails and lips that excites me.”
“Style is personal, there are no rules when it comes to your personal style so I wear pieces that make me feel amazing! There are no dress codes!”

Fact: Tracee Ellis Ross effortlessly slays. Her hosting duties for the 2017 AMAs were no exception, as she dropped jaws in look after look—she is Diana Ross’s daughter after all. Here’s a recap of all of her style moments from the momentous occasion:
The curly-haired beauty glimmered on the red carpet in a maroon sequin Stella McCartney gown with a slit cut up to there. Red Tamara Mellon sandals anchored her fabulous look.
The awards show began, with Ross stepping out in a super dramatic, bronze Ronald van der Kemp confection that was truly out of this world.
Then a vintage moment was on the style agenda, with the black-ish actress slipping a black sequin Halston jumpsuit into magenta boots. So hot!
Tracee supported her stylist Karla Welch in a hanes x karla white crop top, Giambattista Valli high-low tulle skirt, and futuristic silver boots in her fourth look of the night.
The Emmy Award winner then channeled a silver siren in a Paco Rabanne fringe gown.
Tracee channeled her mom and icon Diana Ross in the actual embellished shirt she wore during a timeless performance with Michael Jackson for her sixth getup of the evening. The white suit was so fresh and so clean!
Then she gave us a bit of a festival-perfect moment in a floral crown and sheer LBD.
A curve-hugging jumpsuit was layered under a shaggy white fur in Tracee’s next getup.
She then resurrected the peplum trend in a figure-flaunting plunge flounce dress with ruffle sleeves.
Tracee then joined her mom and all of her family onstage in a Michael Kors Collection fringe LBD.
Nana-Kofi Siriboe is often referred to as just Kofi Siriboe, or the flirty ladies may shout out “KoFINE,” as that simply fits his melanin glow perfectly. This year and next has been good to this 23-year-old LA native, as his breathtaking looks and talents have launched his career in entertainment and modeling. He has a recurring role on the hit TV series “Queen Sugar” as Ralph Angel Bordelon and he’s signed under Wilhelmina models NY and Vision Los Angeles. He has been dubbed by People Magazine as 2017’s Sexiest Man Alive and has also managed to make history with being the first African to hit Forbes’ 2018 30 and under 30 list. Now, Kofi can add Man Crush to his list, too.
There is no specific direction on Kofi’s style. This man literally looks breathtaking in practically anything! What elevates his styles is his glossy chocolaty complexion, his well-mannered persona, and his looks are never over the top. It’s very business casual, with typically a pop of color, culture, prints, layered on with some bomb accessories hats, chunky chains and more.
His smile just might have you melt (literally). It’s contagious and it goes along great with his effortless swag.
Besides hats and jewelry as one of Kofi’s signature looks, blazers, multi-colored prints, and plaid wouldn’t make this gentleman’s style unique any other way.
What a looker! View more images of Kofi’s looks in the gallery.
Today’s Bombshell is a passionate makeup artist and stylist. Behold, Diamond from Lawrenceville, New Jersey.
She writes, “Urban, Feminine-meets-slightly masculine.”
“Being natural has been a big part of my journey to embrace my minimalistic/eclectic personal style. A little self-confidence goes a long way. And I’m not afraid to fall in love with one piece of jewelry, I will buy two or three to make sure it always looks fresh!”
“For me, inspiration comes from everywhere, I like to pull from two or three time periods/movements for one outfit. I live for mixing modern streetwear with vintage styles and cuts.”
“I usually thrift and/or shop online for staple pieces, sometimes buying a piece I love and holding on to it until I find “outfit finishers” I can mix and match. I shop at Urban Outfitters, 10deep, Huf, ModCloth, etc. I fully embrace the Men’s section. It’s more about the piece than the label.”
