Monica and her Family Posed in a Multicolor Pucci Looks While on Vacation in the Dominican Republic

Punta Cana never looked so darn good until R&B singer Monica and her family hit the scene in some of the hottest looks while vacationing in the Dominican Republic.

Most notably were striking Pucci ensembles worn by Monica, her mother, and daughter Laiyah. The abstract motif that each of them wore is known as Pucci’s “Vivara” print and is one of 500 patterns in Pucci’s extensive archives.

Monica opted for the matching Iride print set, with a silk bodysuit that featured a keyhole, while her mini me sported the $715 ‘Very Viara Cotton Geometric Sarong‘ that wrapped around her waist.

The Georgia singer’s mother, Marilyn Best looked classy and pristine in a $890 Pucci muslin shirt with the matching $1,165 maxi skirt. They each brought Pucci’s kaleidoscopic vision to life, and looked so dreamy against the tropical background.

In addition to posing next to her mother and daughter, Monica also was captured with her sons inside of the Punta Cana resort. Contrary to the lavender and mint hues, her son’s opted for black and white keeping things on the simple side.

Not only does Monica have amazing vocals, but the Grammy award winning artist has an excellent sense of fashion. She’s always slaying in the chicest designer looks from head-to-toe, and other R&B singers may just want to take a page out of her book.

Letoya Luckett Wore a White Embellished Ese Azenabor Gown at Her Wedding

Over the weekend, Letoya Luckett and her beau Taleo Coles tied the knot in a star-studded wedding at the Le Tesserae venue in Houston, Texas.

The former Destiny Child member looked absolutely incredible at her reception dinner in a custom wedding dress by designer, Ese Azenabor.

Her stunning gown was designed in the form of a halter dress, and had sequins and crystal embellishments throughout. Stylist, J. Bolin accessorized her ensemble with raindrop pearl earrings, and diamond tennis bracelets for a luxurious finish.

Luckett exuded a sense of calmness, happiness and serenity as she posed next to her hubby who popped the question earlier this year in March.

Matching his wife’s fly as they poured glasses of champagne, Taleo Coles looked quite dapper in an off white suit, that had silk lapels. The Virginia entrepreneur was all smiles while celebrating next to his wife, indicating a promising future.

This is Letoya Luckett’s third marriage, and you know what they say, “third time’s the charm.” We’re so happy to see her onward and upward despite prior setbacks in the love department. Love wins every single time.

The 2024 Summer Olympics, officially the Games of the XXXIII Olympiad is taking place in Paris, with a slew of celebrities making their way to Europe to represent for TEAM USA.

Queen Beyoncé presented the USA Olympic athletes in a custom red, white and blue bedazzled out swimsuit that she layered with a statement Thom Browne coat. Although Bey didn’t come to play, she definitely came to SLAY. Hello?!

Zendaya showed off her patriotism in a vintage Olympian inspired look. The stunning actress posed in front of her French casement windows wearing an archival Jean-Charles de Castelbajac romper with On sneakers, styled by Luxury Law.

Her sporty chic look is from the brand’s 2008 collection, SPORTACUS and fit the scenery exceptionally well. She kept her blonde strands pulled in a bun, and let her natural beauty shine through.

Stepping outside of athleisure wear was one of the greatest tennis players of all time, Serena Williams. The retired, 23 Gram Slam winning athlete looked like Olympian royalty as she posed in a red Dolce & Gabbana sheer dress, styled by Kesha Mcleod. Williams blonde curly hair was laid to perfection, and we adored her red patent leather handbag.

The 2023 world champion of the 100m, Sha’Carri Richardson is at the Paris Olympics ready to smash her competitors and claim her prize.

After just winning the 100 at the U.S. Olympic track and field trials in June, Richardson was spotted looking confident as she showcased her patriotic glamour nails. It’s great to see her staying true to her personal style for the celebratory moment.

South African singer Tyla, and basketball star Angel Reese came with the fashion during the Prelude To The Olympics event in Paris.

Tyla wore a black Louis Vuitton tracksuit with a gold chain bralette, while Angel looked like a class act in a white Zara dress that she accessorized with a Louis Vuitton silk scarf, and LV monogram bag.

In attendance as a family unit was John Legend, his wife Chrissy Teigen and their adorable kids Luna, and Miles. Legend looked dapper in a black double breasted Louis Vuitton suit, while Teigen embodied elegance and sophistication in a green knitted Chloe set.

Also opting for Louis Vuitton was Cynthia Erivo who showed out at the opening ceremony in a rich green LV strapless dress, styled by Jason Bolden. We loved the modern victorian influences of Erivo’s dress, along with her green statement hat, and dark iridescent heels.

We thought everyone looked grandeur and ahead of the curve at the 2024 Paris Olympics. It will be great to see how more celebrities show up and out at the an international multi-sport event until mid August.

Solange Knowles Wore a Black Resort 2025 Look by The Row with Jill Sander earrings to the Watermill Center Annual Benefit

There’s no doubt that Solange Knowles is ahead of our time, and every time we see her she’s breaking barriers in the world of music, art and fashion.

With a fabulous older sister like Beyoncé we’re not surprised, but we love how Solo shines individually in her own way. But don’t we all? The beauty in being you is that there’s only ONE YOU, and can’t nobody do it like YOU!

Over the weekend, the ‘Cranes in the Sky’ singer was captured striking a pose at the Watermill Center Annual Benefit in a black resort 2025 ensemble by The Row. Her pleated ruched design resembled Japanese fashion designer, Issey Miyake and looked so futuristic and avant-garde.

Solo completed her two piece pants set with silver statement Jill Sander earrings that looked so bomb against her cornrow braids. Her black clutch bag and sandals made for a perfect monochromatic outfit.

This look on Solange was the epitome of quiet luxury. It was also unparalleled to any of the fashion we’ve seen in the media as of late. We have to admit that Solo is a revolutionary force, and her fashion choices are always so effortless, yet brilliant.

Empowering Women and Youth Through Fashion:  ABVee Fashion Academy

In the heart of bustling Lagos city Nigeria stands a beacon of hope and creativity: ABVee Fashion Design Academy. This innovative academy is transforming lives, providing women and youth with the skills and confidence needed to thrive in the dynamic world of fashion. The center’s mission is not just about creating designers; it’s about fostering independence, resilience, and economic empowerment.

The Fashion Academy was founded by Abuovbo Racheal Adeleke (Racheal Adeleke) with a clear vision: to address unemployment and gender inequality by equipping marginalized groups with practical skills in fashion design and entrepreneurship. Recognizing the untapped potential within communities, the founders set out to create a nurturing environment where creativity could flourish and lead to tangible economic opportunities.

The fashion school offers a comprehensive courses that covers every aspect of fashion design, from basic sewing techniques to advanced pattern making, fashion illustration, textile knowledge, and fashion marketing. Courses are tailored to suit various skill levels, ensuring that both beginners and those with some experience can benefit. By integrating practical workshops with theoretical lessons, students gain a holistic understanding of the fashion industry.

Empowering Women

For many Nigerian women, particularly those from disadvantaged backgrounds, ABVee Fashion Design Academy is a gateway to independence. Traditional gender roles and economic barriers often limit women’s opportunities for personal and professional growth. The school breaks these barriers by providing a space where women can learn, create, and collaborate.

Through hands-on training and mentorship, women develop not only technical skills but also self-confidence and business acumen. Graduates have gone on to start their own fashion lines, work for established brands, or teach others, creating a ripple effect of empowerment within their communities.

ABVee’s Fashion approach is particularly appealing to the younger generation, who are often drawn to creative industries but may lack access to the necessary training and resources. By fostering an environment of innovation and entrepreneurship, the academy helps young people turn their passion for fashion into sustainable careers.

Let’s take a look at some of the student’s designs created using recycling materials:

Claire’s Life: 3.6 Million Views! My Visit to Honey Hand in London + Have Claire Wear Your Wig or Hair Brand !

Happy Friday!

So I was recently in Paris for the Olympics! While abroad, I decided to visit Official Honey Hand, an extremely skilled hairstylist out of London who specializes in making natural looking short wigs. My hair is in this weird ‘in between’ growing out stage (those who get perfect platinum pixies know what I mean). Basically about 2 months after you get your hair dyed, your hair starts to grow out significantly. You could dye it again, but in most cases it will be too short, so you typically have to wait another month before you can get it done again. It’s just a growing out phase that is not the cutest…so I decided to take the Eurostar and take my chances.

2.5 hours on the train, a couple Ubers, and 4 hours in Honey Hand’s chair, and voila…

It’s gonna take some getting used to, but I guess it was time for a change. Honey Hand (her name is Hannah) and I decided to collaborate on a post, and it has received almost 3.6 Million plays and 40,000 likes!

It looks like I’ll be going back to wigs this Fall! My real hair has taken a beating from all the platinum. I think in this next season, I’m going to focus on nursing my hair back to health and using protective styles like wigs and braids yet again. If you’d like me to wear your hair brand and collaborate on a viral post, Email book@clairesulmers.com.

Gigi Hadid Wore a Yellow LaQuan Smith Trench Jacket with Blake Lively in Balmain to the ‘Deadpool and Wolverine’ Premiere

Gigi Hadid and Blake Lively stole the scene at the ‘Deadpool and Wolverine’ premiere in New York City, as they arrived in fashionable looks reminiscent of the characters in the film.

Supermodel Hadid went monochromatic in a yellow $3,250 LaQuan Smith trench coat that she paired with yellow Louboutin heels. She embodied the girl version of Wolverine in such a fashion-forward way.

Gigi’s fluorescent yellow LaQuan Smith trench coat was originally worn by Priyanka Chopra on the cover of British Vogue. The silver hardware on the coat gave her trench a sleek appeal.

Contrary to Hadid’s ultra bright aesthetic, Blake Lively showed up to support her beau Ryan Reynolds in a red and pale blue Balmain mini dress.

Characterized with ruching, Blake’s dress fit impeccably against her small frame. We adored the red patent roses at the neckline and hem of her dress.

We loved Gigi’s and Blake’s reinterpretation of Deadpool and Wolverine with their dynamic color palette. They both looked fabulously fierce in their ensembles and it would be great to see more celebrities paying homage to characters at film premieres.
