Several Artists at the 2018 MTV Video Music Awards had Versace fever, donning the Italian House’s signature prints for the red carpet, on stage performances, and the after party!
The Versace love started on the pink carpet, where everyone from J. Lo to DJ Khaled to Sabrina Carpenter wore Versace pieces:
On the stage, J. Lo delivered the performance of the night in custom Versace pieces for both her and her dancers.
Even JaRule performed a song with J. Lo wearing what else? Versace!
La Lopez and DJ Khaled wore Versace to accept their award for Best Collaboration.
And the Versace loving continued to the afterparty, where J. Lo sported the signature barocco print from head to toe.
Could she have looked anymore bomb? We think not!
What say you?

Cardi B was having the best night ever last night!
In addition to receiving the MTV Video Music Awards for Best New Artist and Best Collab, she also came to slay the scene in show stopping looks!
She opened the show wearing a strapless bustier dress by Azzi and Osta:
This all-silk red couture gazar gown features four tails, a cinched waist and exaggerated hips.
She also changed into a black dress with ruffle details to accept the Best Collaboration Award with J. Lo and DJ Khaled (ID to come):
Last night the Video Music Awards shut New York City down with plenty of surprises, dope performances, and of course, red carpet fashion. While some celebs tried their hand at some very different looks, others showed up and slayed the scene. Get into the looks here:
Talk about a snap back! Cardi B showed off her post baby frame in a skin clinging Nicolas Jebran velvet dress and Lorraine Schwartz Jewels. Hot!
Kylie Jenner looked every bit the billionaire boss lady in a crisp white Tom Ford blazer dress and Olgana Paris heels.
Last night was all about Versace, Versace, Versace for Vanguard Award recipient Jennifer Lopez. This silver high slit dress was just one of her many show stopping looks for the evening. Bomb!
SZA worked a fringed dress from Rodarte’s Spring 2018 collection. A neon pedicure completed her look.
I was feeling Ashanti’s Elie Madi dress. Were you?
It was all about Fausto Puglisi for Iggy Azalea.
It was a family Versace affair for DJ Khaled, Nicole Tuck, and baby Asahd.
Jasmine Sanders was an absolute vision in a Dundas mini dress and metallic Brian Atwood heels.
Nicki Minaj opted for a sheer Off White dress from the brand’s Fall 2018 collection.
Amber Rose went for racy in a red pleather catsuit. This seemed a little costumey, but if anyone knows how to make a splash, Ms. Rose does!
Teyana Taylor doesn’t need much to slay! She flashed her abs in a crop top and Namilia trousers.
Rita Ora looked fresh off the runway in sheer Jean Paul Gaultier.
Tiffany Haddish hit the carpet in a black and white look by Naeem Khan.
Winnie Harlow worked a Zuhair Murad creation.
Chloe and Halle always looks so artful, classic, and fashion forward. I lived for their Iris Van Herpen ensembles.
Shay Mitchell was gorgeous in Nicolas Jebran.
And lastly, Millie Bobby Brown looked like an angel in Rosie Assoulin.
Get into today’s Fashion Bombshell of the day who is a fashion designer. Behold, Sandra from Lagos, Nigeria.

Happy Monday, Bombers and Bombshells!
This past weekend, I made my way to the City of Brotherly Love, Philadelphia, for the latest edition of our Convos with Claire Series: our Fashion Bomb Daily x Better than Success Brunch!
With the theme of Collaboration over Competition, I partnered with fellow Martini & Rossi ambassador and entrepreneur Nicole Purvy to have a networking event focused on fashion, fun, empowerment, and education. I chatted it up with Philly based Fashion Designers Iris Barbee Bonner of These Pink Lips and Alnika Lovello of Lovello Elizabeth about their keys to success. After chatting with the designers, Nicole and I chopped it up about hard lessons learned from starting our own businesses, building teams, and riding the various waves that come along with creating your own path and platform.
Delicious food by Bare Hand Love Cuisine and nonstop Martini & Rossi mimosas set the scene for an inspirational afternoon. Each brunch keeps getting better as the Fashion Bomb Family continues to grow. We are more than just a website: we are a worldwide web of fashion enthusiasts looking to flourish together. Philly has lots of flavor, so the fusion was seamless.
With a black and white themes, Philly Bombers and Bombshells came to slay. Take a look:
The Fearless Fashionista looked great in faux leather and polka dots.
Of course she followed the theme down to her footwear. Yes to those blanc et noir boots!
Polka dots were also on tap for Danielle Shortt, who punched up her ensemble with red lips.
Gucci accessories uplifted the black and denim look.
Icy hair was a great accent to this gingham ensemble.
Kristin from the Fashion Organization Famus.org paired a black fanny pack with a crop top and pants.
A hoodie and a frothy skirt mixed sporty with feminine chic.
Designer Alnika Lovello repped for her brand in a logo tee, camo pants, and black and white accessories.
@ThesePinkLips designer Iris Bonner posed in her own design. Yes to this dress!
This white, slightly sheer dress was the perfect summer dress.
And this designer showed off her artistry in an architectural look and fuchsia heels.
Fellas represented as well! I lived for @ZayasWardrobe‘s interpretation of the theme.
My fabulous co-host Nicole Purvy looked bomb in a black dress.
As for me, I represented for Philly designer These Pink Lips in a trench printed with the phrase, “Black Girl Magic!”
It was an amazing time and I enjoyed meeting every single one of you!
Thank you for your words of encouragement, support, prayers, and well wishes. Thank you all for being a key part in the Fashion Bomb Family.
We are about to embark on something new and exciting. I can’t wait to share it with you. We welcome you on this ride.
You may remember 2Chainz’s epic proposal to his longtime girlfriend at the MET Gala this past May. Well, the couple wasted no time! This weekend they tied the knot with an beautiful ceremony and reception at the Versace Mansion in Miami.
The bride looked regal for her ceremony donning a Galia Lahav dress with a caped veil. She was styled by #NoIgJeremy, he made sure she looked like a queen on her special day.
Kesha slipped on a beautiful bejeweled gown by Youssef Al Jasmi for her second look of the night. It had a sheer underlay and was adorned with a layer of crystals. Her change of earrings and headpiece went perfect with this look!
Before their big day, 2 Chainz looked dapper in a custom David Lance suit. That gold is bomb!
Guests like Monica, Kim Kardashian, and Kanye West were by the couple’s side to watch them wed. Monica wore a gold Delor Designs one shoulder dress, Kanye wore a Louis Vuitton suit, and Kim showed off her curves in an Atsuko Kudo latex dress.
Slay, Mo!
Congratulations to the beautiful family. Look at their little man in his Gucci blazer, too cute!
More pictures to come of the bride & groom! Thoughts?
We’re back with look of the week. From On The Run 2 tour looks to the UNICEF red carpet, there were many looks to rave over last week. Based on your double taps, here were the best looks of the week:
Beyoncé in Versace
It’s no longer a shocker when Queen Bey lands in the top 5 because it’s pretty obvious why, she slays! She has been killing her On The Run 2 tour looks and although she doesn’t debut a new outfit every show, when she does it’s bomb and unexpected. Last week she made the crowd go crazy performing “Apeshit” rocking custom Versace threads from head to toe. I mean, who else could’ve pull this off?!
2. Rita Ora in Ralph & Russo
Rita Ora stunned at the UNICEF Gala last week donning a color block Ralph & Russo dress. The draped dress featured bold colors like hot pink, orange, purple, and blue. She topped the look off with a pointy toe orange shoe. Can we get into the high thigh slit?! What a stunner!
3. Ashanti in Yas Couture
Ashanti can do no wrong! She beamed in a beach photoshoot wearing a mirrored dress by Yas Couture. The reflections from the dress and the shades makes the image so bomb. The high ponytail was a perfect hairstyle, although I think the hoop earrings took away from the statement the dress makes. Either way, she looks gorg!
4. Remy Ma in The Muse Factory
This mama to be has been making moves! Remy Ma recently announced she is Dark And Lovely’s newest face for their Icons Collection. She struck a pose to share the news in a yellow feathered sleeve dress from The Muse Factory. Her sleek bob cut and plum lip color complemented the look so well. Bomb!
5. Niki Murphy in Hermés
Niki Murphy beamed clad in a white lace Hermés dress while posing next to a Hermés Alabaster purse art piece. She is glowing and that is a beautiful piece of art!
