A lot of people might wonder: What is Convos with Claire?

CWC started off as Cocktails with Claire: an opportunity for me to meet n greet some of the many fly and fashionable readers of Fashion Bomb Daily! Our first CWC was actually in Atlanta in 2013…

… and since then, we’ve had networking events in D.C., San Francisco, LA, New York, Lagos, Paris, London, and more.

At first our format was simple: just come, grab a cocktail, and have fun! But now, we’ve incorporated an empowering portion, where I have candid conversations with industry insiders, asking them how they got their start in the business, and gleening tips we can all use to inform our careers.

Having a great network is important–yes. But getting advice from people who have actually ‘made it’ in the industry, and having the opportunity to ask them questions is priceless!

This is what we offer to you with Convos with Claire. Knowledge and networking over food, drinks, and fashion. The dress code always adds an extra dose of fun.

So come on down to our next event in Atlanta on Saturday, October 13th from 2-7pm. The dress code is logo love!

This past weekend, Fashion Bomb stars headed down to Miami for BET’s annual Hip Hop Awards. From neon to pink ruffles to fabulous hair, the style was certainly on tap. Read on for some of our faves:

Juju shined bright in one of the hottest looks of the night, an on trend neon vinyl suit by TLZ Femme. Hot!

Neon was also on the menu for rapstress Dreamdoll, who rocked the green carpet with a neon ‘do, a Balmain dress, and YSL feathered sandals.

Bold tones continued for the fellas! Behold Deray Davis in a LTHJKT suede look. I like!

T.I. opted for subdued in a Hideo Bespoke shirt and Dolce & Gabbana pants.

Young Ma kept it cool and casual in a Valentino logo tee.

Inside, Reginae Carter looked bomb with blue hair and a Fall 2018 Versace ensemble.

Blac Chyna showed off her curves in a Dare to be Vintage dress.

BET Executive Vice President Connie Orlando looked bomb in a Tom Ford skirt and Christian Louboutin pumps.

Lastly, the king and queen Keyshia Kaoir and Gucci Mane blessed the festivities in coordinated pink and blue looks. They’re adorable.

T.I. attended his album release party at the Trap Museum wearing the same $890 Givenchy Striped and Dotted button down shirt Joe Budden wore for a date night with Cyn Santana.

The dapper gents offered different takes on styling, with T.I. skewing more casual with an undershirt, black jeans, and sneakers, and Joe in black slacks, loafers, and a fetching fedora.
The crepe button up on shirt is patterned with stripes and monogrommed polka dots creating a mixed media effect.

Most of you on IG voted for Joe, and I’d have to agree. His pairing really does the shirt justice!

Growing Up Hip Hop Atlanta cast and more shut it down in the A on Oct. 2nd, at the Tongue and Groove for the new season premiere event. The show will air on Thursday, Oct. 11th at 9 pm EST/8 pm PST–will you tune in?

Cynthia Bailey struck a pose at the season premiere in a chic all-black, one-shoulder ruffle jumpsuit.

Eva Pigford kept it sultry in a multi striped two-piece set. Hot!

Tammy Rivera and Waka Flocka made a casual yet chic appearance at the Tongue and Groove. Tammy wore a $195 House of CB ‘Antonella’ satin jumpsuit, while her hubby wore a cranberry red top and shoes to match his denim jeans.

Lil Mama who is one of the new faces of #GUHHATL, wore an Elegant By Alice royal blue cut-out jumpsuit. Gorgeous!

Mother-to-be, Porsha Williams stepped out looking comfy yet classy in a $159 Rachel Roy Peyton blazer, paired with distressed denim jeans and sling back heels.

Karlie Redd kept it cute in a look by Versace.

The Braxton Sisters, Trina and Towanda Braxton came through to show love and support. They both looked stunning!

Momma Dee is looking like the queen that she is laid back in a blue shimmery dress. We see you!

Rapper, Da Brat came through dripping with her own swaggy 90’s vibe attire, and even sported pink hair highlights. Dope!

Rapper and producer, Jermaine Dupri attended the premiere in a black and white acid wash bomber, matched with all-black throughout his fit’.

Masika Kalysha looked stylish rocking an embellished denim jacket, and cut-off jeans paired with heels. Cute!

Ms. Deb aka Debra Antney, Charlie Rivera and Tammy Rivera enjoyed some laughs and giggles at the event. See more pix below!
