She then goes on to showcase some Hermes bags. Hermes famously never publicizes their prices, but Birkins generally start at $10,000 and exotic skins can cost $25,000 and up (the most expensive Hermes is around $350,000). Offset got Cardi 3 Birkins, one of which was an exotic skin, and a luggage sized bag as well. Looking at prices of used bags on The Real Real, I’d guesstimate that he spent around $50,000-$75,000 on bags:
Total Hermes Bill: $60,000 (approx)
He also gifted Cardi with some Cartier Juste un Clou Bracelets, dipped in diamonds, along with a few bejeweled bracelets. Her Juste un Clou bracelets with diamonds are listed at Cartier.com for $81,000 each:
Total Cartier Bill: $162,000
In sum, it looks as if Offset spent $242,090 on gifts for Cardi. Let’s round up and say $250,000.
What do you think of Offset’s Christmas gift buying fest?
**After 1 million views, Cardi deleted the video from her page, perhaps due to negative feedback. What do you think?
Behold, a few pictures from a holiday party celebrating Ashanti’s new collaboration with Miss Circle. Everyone looked festive in bold colors and textured fabrics (I wore an S Denton Collection Suit).

This week Beyoncé showed some love to all the African designers that kept her ‘feeling fresh’ during her trip to South Africa for the Global Citizen Festival: Mandela 100 at the start of December.
Queen B posted on the ‘gram some of her best looks from her time in Johannesburg. So, who was behind some of Beyoncé’s hottest outfits?
Founded by Africa Fashion International Young Designer of the Year 2014 winner, Rich Mnisi in 2015. A lot of his designs are bursting with color and animal print. Mnisi is also heavily influenced by pop culture as shown by a recent collection incorporating the Coca Cola logo. As well as designing clothes, Rich Mnisi also designs furniturenamed in honour of his late great-grandmother.
Created by duo Mmuso Potsane and Maxwell Boko, this womenswear brand started in 2016. After connecting at ‘The Intern by David Tlale’ program, the two quickly realised they shared the same sense of style and design so they decided to team up to create MmusoMaxwell. During South African Fashion week in 2017 these two designers not only had their F/W18 collection walk the runway, they also won SAFW New Talent Search designer competition.
No stranger to the pages of Vouge, Harper’s Bazaar and Elle, Tongoro was started in 2016 by Sarah Diouf after starting her career in the media. Focusing on affordability, Tongoro offers ‘playful and unique’ 100% made in Africa apparel. Sarah also founded Ifren Media Group who produce Noir, an African fashion and lifestyle magazine and Ghubar, a digital magazine about fashion ‘with a twist of Arabic’. You can pre-order B’s colorful ‘Zanzi’ set of a crop top and high-waisted pants on the Tongorowebsite for €150 (roughly USD$171)
Parisian-Senegalese designer Dyenaa Diaw launched Peulh Vagabond in 2014. Her mantra ‘There isn’t a woman, but rather THE woman present in each one of us, wanting to open up to the world, take charge, and claim her individuality’ is the cornerstone of her brand. Inspired by travels and textiles, Peulh Vagabond is fun, chic and unexpected.
Founder Rebecca Zoro describes Yhebe Design as ‘an odyssey of love and sensitivity’. Her designs are bold yet feminine with defining, modern silhouettes. With a 1920’s flair and eye-catching prints, this young brand will be one to watch. Beyoncé’s skirt is available on Afrikea.com for $159. Be quick, it’s sure to be a sell-out.

As a globally-known supermodel with a walk that is hard to imitate and also hard to forget, Naomi Campbell has made her mark on the runway and in the fashion industry. Aside from fashion, Naomi is also involved in many philanthropic avenues as well. This woman literally does everything and it is hard to believe that she has not ever been featured for a beauty campaign with such flawless skin and a high sought-after status in the industry. Well, NARS changed that by making her the new face of NARS Cosmetics which they announced through an Instagram post which featured an upclose shot of Naomi Campbell.
François Nars, founder of NARS Cosmetics, made Naomi her own foundation when she first began modeling as she found it difficult to find the perfect shade to fit her skin tone. Since then, the two have solidified a bond and friends even referring to each other as “family”.

This is a huge deal for Naomi Campbell as she has always been told that she has such beautiful skin, yet no one ever featured her in their beauty campaigns and further hinting at the fact this was due to the color of her skin. NARS will be tackling this approach by diversifying and extending their foundation shades in addition to introducing a new Skin Deep Eye Palette and Super Radiant Booster.
Our forever First Lady is bringing the fashion!
While she skewed somewhat safe during her reign as FLOTUS, wearing J.Crew and Kitten Heels, she slipped on a Balenciaga Runway Spring 2019 look for her latest Becoming talk in Brooklyn with Sarah Jessica Parker:
I love what Mrs. O is ‘Becoming’ over the course of her book tour. More outspoken, more ‘real,’ and more willing to take some fashion risks that pay off.

Leather, this essential wardrobe material is a must have in everyone’s closets. The reason why leather is so sought after is because it is a very durable and flexible material.
There are many different types of leather with the best of the best being Full Grain Leather. As we all know, Italian leather is one of the most well-regarded leathers in the world, especially those that hail from Tuscany.
Vegan (or vegetarian) Leather is currently having a bit of a moment with big named brands such as Stella McCartney vowing to only use leather alternatives. McCartney uses a recycled polyester as her alternative, but vegan leather can also made up of cork or kelp or even pineapple waste (Piñatex)
Other popular types of non-leather is PU and PVC type leathers. PU leather is fabric based, created in layers. It’s lightweight and breathable but can feel rubbery. PVC is made from plastic resin, fillers and additives. This resin is used to then coat one side of fabric creating a water-resistant leather-look material.
No matter what type of leather is your preference, there is no denying that incorporating leather into your looks wins you automatic ‘cool’ points. Here are the top 5 ways that you should be wearing leather:
Look 1 – Accessories
Winter is well and truly here, and what is the best winter accessory? Leather gloves. Fur trimmed (faux of course), colorful or classic, leather gloves are a great way to finish off a look all while keeping warm.
The ultimate fashionista classic. The leather jacket has been around for what seems an eternity. Wear yours draped over your shoulders or paired with a cute, printed dress and boots. Make sure you invest in a top quality leather jacket, as you will surely be wearing this staple over and over for years to come.

Look 3 – Leather Skirt
An underrated leather item, the leather skirt. Pencil skirts seems to be a favourite of on the streets during fashion week. Pair yours with a chunky knit and knee high boots (or cowboy boots) for a streetstyle chic or a white tee and sneakers for that relaxed look. For the office? Match your skirt with a crisp shirt and you’ll be good to go.
Not for the faint-hearted. Leather pants can either look utterly chic or terribly tacky. I believe that it is all down to balance. Your pants are going to be the centrepiece of your outfit, so dial back the footwear and top to keep it from being OTT.
An all over leather look might seem a little daunting to some people but there are many different styles of leather dresses available these days to suit everyone. Whether it’s ruffled like Balmain, color leather like Kourtney or wrap-style like Rihanna. There is a leather dress out there for you and an occasion to wear it.

First teased on Becca’s Instagram showing nothing but 2 figures in metallic maxi dresses holding up 2 parts of a heart emblazoned with #BeccaBFFs, it has finally been revealed that the besties are none other than Khloé Kardashian and Malika Haqq.
Guess who! Becca asked their fans to try and guess who the BFFs were going to be
The limited edition collection is all about the glow with 2 face palettes, 4 lipsticks and a never before seen product called Glow Letters. ‘Perfect product parings to unlock your best glow’ Khloé says of the collection on her Instagram page.
In a special promotional video, KoKo explains “We’re both huge fans of Becca. We know that the formulas are amazing, quality and what Becca stands behind is something that we really want to be a part of”
Each face palette ($44) consists of 2 blushes, a highlighter and a bronzer. Khloé’s palette is much more bronzed and golden based, and is carried through to the packaging with the palette encased in gold. While Malika’s silver palette shows a more vibrant side with pink, peach shades shining through.
Both palettes show beautiful marble effects, aside from the bronzers which appears to be more of a matte than a shimmer.

Of course, it wouldn’t be a Kardashian collaboration without some form of lipstick. Each of the BFF’s created 2 shades of lipstick ($24), 2 reds and 2 nudes. Malika described her nude shade ‘Yours Truly’ as the ‘best nude ever’ in the promo.
