Show Review: The Kollection Vol 1 Featuring BlacGlas, Royal Bum Co, Sovereign Nay Swimwear, and Christien Kollection!

So during #NYFW I co-hosted a Fashion Show alongside Harrison Crite called the Kollection Volume 1, featuring an array of designers!

Brands Blac Glas, Royal Bum Co, Sovereign Nay Swimwear, and Christien Kollection showed their wares to a room full of fashion insiders and enthusiasts.

Take a look!
BlacGlas:

Created by stylist and designer Danielle A, the brand features coats, dresses, jumpsuits, and co-ord sets that boast fun prints, mixed textures, and eye catching details. Some of my favorite pieces included an iridescent sequined jumpsuit finished with a neon belt and a bomb black LBD with grommet details.

Wear a sequined dress with lace up details or a fabulous kimono for a night on the town, a shirt and pant combo for a work day in a creative industry, and slip on a coat finished with fur sleeves once the temperature dips.

See anything you like? Dm @BlacGlas on Instagram for your custom order.

The next designer to show was Sovereign Nay, a swimwear line comprises bikinis and one pieces with bold neon colors, animal prints, cut outs, and high cuts.

Hot! or Hmm…? See more and contact the designer directly at Instagram.com/Sovereign_Nay.

Royal Bum Co. was all about streetwear injected with camouflage cast in pink and blue. Standout pieces included jerseys, one piece swimsuits, polos, and sweaters decorated with the brand’s logo and initials.

Purchase the pieces above and more at RoyalBum.com.

Christien Kollection, a line of tailored suits for the gents, and red carpet ready gowns for women, closed the show.

I was living for this green suit! I need that in my closet!

If you love, see more at @ChristienKollection.

On The Scene: Rihanna’s 4th Annual Diamond Ball Featuring Rihanna in Alexis Mabille, Issa Rae in Valentino, Teyana Taylor in Moschino, and More!

Rihanna’s annual Diamond Ball went down last night in New York City closing out New York Fashion Week with a bang. Here’s some of the hottest looks that hit the carpet!

Queen Rih Rih came to slay, of course! Just 24 hours after her Savage X Fenty show she got glam in an Alexis Mabille ensemble. The lace catsuit designed with a structured bow and skirt made quite a statement, but we wouldn’t expect any less from Rihanna!

Lala showed off her curves in a sequin Georgine Studio gown.

It was all about drapes for Justine Skye as she graced the scene in this bomb Prabal Gurung pink dress. Cute!

Normani struck a pose in a v-neck curve hugging Jean Louis Sabaji dress with a dramatic layered overskirt and gloves.

Donald Glover represented for the Fashion Bomb Men in a Dior Home suit.

Fashion Bomb couple Keyshia Ka’Oir and Gucci Mane were on the scene! Keyshia stunned in a black Charbel Zoe Couture dress with lace detailing.

Issa Rae glimmered in a sequin Maison Valentino dress. She always kills it!

Teyana Taylor embraced the tuxedo trend in a tux-inspired Moschino dress. Loving the bangs!

Sequins was a hot commodity last night! Tiffany Haddish was a vision in a plunging neck sequin dress with a high front slit.

Meek Mill looked dapper in a black printed suit.

Nipsey Hussle cleans up nice! He posed in a Givenchy coat and Louboutin shoes. Hot!

Show Review: Badgley Mischka S/S 2019

Mark Badgley and James Mischka, the duo designers who collectively make up the Badgley Mischka brand, were not only displaying their latest collection during this NYFW, but also celebrating 30 years in the fashion industry. The show, set up in an Alice in Wonderland-like setting, was complete with floral trees lining the middle of the runway and colorful tables and chairs for guests to sit and enjoy the show.  Champagne was poured at each seat with a bottle on ice at each table setting. Guests included Caitlyn Jenner, Alec Baldwin, Fern Mallis, Sevyn Streeter, and an array of other fashion-loving onlookers.

The ready-to-wear line includes dresses, suits, and rompers all designed for a fancy affair. Shimmering fabrics and textures crafted each piece to tell a story of springtime beauty. You could feel the celebration of 30 years in each piece!

The cutest part of the show was the debut of the mommy-and-me line. Little girls walked in dresses while hand-in-hand with models in similar dresses.  So cute!

Cheers to Badgley Mischka on 30 years!
