Our Bomb Product of the Day may cause a frenzy with it being such a show stopper of a piece! Short, draped and in a popping shade of red, we have Nichole Lynel’s ‘Vanity Vain’ sequined mini dress that’s modeled by the beauty, herself. The dress’ fresh vintage feel with playful patterning and a flirty V-cut, makes the look ultra stylish and party appropriate; not to mention the classic touch of the shoulder pads. It’s officially the start of the weekend and what a week it has been! The talk of this week has got to be the Paris Haute Couture runways. Designers really brought it this season with their designs, so much so it is actually hard to choose the best one. Of course, @FashionBombDaily had you covered with all the best looks so you can decide which was your favorites. Aside from the runway, we have seen some fierce looks off the runway too. Take a peep at our top 5 looks from the past 24 hours to see who you thought have been the best dressed.

Wrapping up couture week, we saw indescribably beautiful dresses from Georges Hobekia. Take a look at our Instagram to see more of the looks from this runway and we challenge you to choose your favorite! Long and flowy, short and chic or glittering gowns. This runway had something for everyone.

Camila Coelho attended Olivier Rousteing’s first couture runway as Creative Director for Balmain, in this stunning white Balmain look.

We love asking who wore it better, and it was a pretty close one between Angela Simmons and Nafessa Williams in this Arianne Elmy striped top with voluminous sleeves. Who do you think wore it best?

Queen Bee never fails to look impeccable, we especially loved her recent look by Marques Almeida. Stripes are certainly a popular pattern in today’s top looks.

Finally a quick repost from @FashionBombKids saw Beyonce mini-me Blue Ivy rocking this floral Lola and the Boys tracksuit while hanging with her superstar mum.

The other night, I was invited to a special advanced screening of Amanda Seales’s new HBO Comedy Stand Up Special, I Be Knowin’.

While most of you might know Amanda as Tiffany, the somewhat stuck up glamour girl on Insecure, I first met Amanda as Amanda Diva, years ago when she was on a show called Funny Style on BET.

Amanda has always been funny, always been unapologetically black, always been beautiful, but I Be Knowin seems to capture her essence completely. In the one hour comedy special she explains is geared towards Black Women, she, resplendent in African print accented by a salmon pink tank, discusses issues we all deal with, from corporate politics, to cat calling to white privilege–all in a hilariously uplifting way.

While watching I Be Knowin’, I laughed out loud several times, cheered, and joined her and the audience in singing several songs (including the Black National Anthem). Watch this with your girls–the special feels intimate yet universal, as Amanda touches on topics distinct to the black female experience in Trump’s America.

Be sure to check it out on HBO on January 26th (just a few days away), and let me know what you think!

Hood Celebrityy’s hit single Walking Trophy was on constant repeat over the summer, racking up over 18 million streams worldwide, and setting the stage for her takeover in 2019.

The Jamaican born, Bronx bred Bombshell showed off her sartorial side for a recent exclusive editorial for Fashion Bomb Daily, photographed by Kat Morgan, and styled by Raytell Bridges, with art direction and hair by Dante Blandshaw, and makeup by Deb Padilla. About the shoot, Hood Celebrityy said, “I feel like each look reflects a portion of my personality. This is actually the first time I was able to show the world all of me in different ways.”

Hood Celebrityy, born Tina Pinnock, is no stranger to style. Before she was making the club bump with her dancehall sound, she worked in retail as a sales associate. She explains, “The store was called “Capo Fashion” and is located in the Boogie Down Bronx. Capo was known for Robin Jeans, True Religion, BB Simons, Taverniti. I enjoyed working with the clientele as I truly love clothes. I learned to appreciate people from all walks of life. I also learned that everyone has something very unique about them and that fashion [is a way for us to express ourselves].”

Fellow Bronx Bombshell Cardi B helped Hood Celebrityy go viral by posting her song “Wine Pon It,” on the ‘Gram. “I appreciate Cardi’s effort and how much she believed in my music. I thank her for that.” Celebrityy adds, “[But] As far as any other collabs only the future could answer that.”

Her Jamaican roots permeate everything she does, particularly her look. She says, “I love Jamaica and my cultural heritage. The bold Jamaican fashion aesthetic shows up in my style as I love bright and vibrant colors. I love to be in coordination with clothes and footwear.”

In conclusion, we had to ask: What is a Walking Trophy? She says, “Walking Trophy” is [all about] women’s empowerment. The point is to make every woman feel and know she is beautiful.”

She adds, ” I came up with the concept as I was home working out. I looked in the mirror and said to myself, ‘I am a walking trophy.’ I was just admiring myself, but I was like it’s others out there that are walking trophies too.”
