We definitely admire and are inspired by Ms. Day’s chic pizazz and style! If you would like to be considered as the Bombshell or Bomber of the Day, please submit 8 to 10 clear style and fashion photos to submissions@fashionbombdaily.com.
And while we tend to focus on the ladies, I had to make it out to Davidson Petit-Frere’s first runway show, Frere, at the One Hotel in Brooklyn!
Though many might know designer Davidson Petit Frere from dressing the likes of Jay Z, Kevin Hart, and Michael B Jordan in swaggy tuxes and suits, we were first introduced to Davidson when he was Fashion Bomber of the Day back in 2012.
He wrote, “I’m a 22-year-old up and coming real estate investor located in New York. I like having my wardrobe made custom.” So many of you were in love with his look that he became Fashion Bomber of the Year!
He soon left real estate, diving head first into fashion, and fast forward to now, where he dresses the A-list in his custom outfits.
While Davidson is known for his suiting, his first runway venture introduced more sporty elements like shorts, and bomber jackets in suede, leather, and canvas.
His Bomber jackets featured the only hint of branding, with an ‘Est. ’89’ embroidered on the chest as a shout out to Frere’s birth year, and Brooklyn, New York on the back (a nod to his hometown). Fittingly a jazz band playing “You Belong to the City” wailed on as models walked the runway.
Many dapper gents and stylish ladies came to support Frere’s first runway foray, including Terrence J, marketing execs Carver Guru and Ryan Shaffer, Elisa Johnson, Bridget Kelly, stylists Avon Dorsey, Jason Rembert, Ade Samuel, publicist Ayanna Wilks, and many more.

I have my go-to’s in every city! And whenever I go to the DMV area, Inarbi Nicole does my hair, making me feel fabulous and empowered! She is now taking her talent to the world with a free standing salon, M Luxe Salon located at 739 W Pratt Street Baltimore, Maryland 21201.
Inarbi is known for her Microlinks technique: she’s so good, she’s been dubbed the “Microlinks Queen.” Haven’t heard of micro links? Micro Links are small bead-like clamps that connect the extensions to your real hair. All of the hair pieces are small and are applied to your actual hair strand by strand with an application tool. It is more effortless than wigs or weaves, and looks natural while offering length and fullness.
If you’re in the DMV, be sure to stop by M Luxe Salon to get this and many other services done!
We celebrated the grand opening with cupcakes, food, bottomless drinks, a live painting, and of course the Electric Slide (done to Beyonce’s “Before I Let Go” remix).
I was happy to honor Inarbi for her latest venture. I’m all for empowering women as they step out as entrepreneurs in service of bringing more beauty and enrichment to the community!
Be sure to follow Inarbi @InarbiNicole and her salon @MLuxeStyle, and if you’re in Baltimore or the DMV are, be sure to stop by at 739 W Pratt Street Baltimore, Maryland 21201. Also thank you to @midoristarmediagroup for making this collaboration a reality!

Happy Tuesday Fashion diva’s and gurus! Today’s Fashion Bombshell of the Day is Saint Ne’ from St. Louis Missouri. Saint Ne’ is a dope personal stylist/image consultant, designer and influencer. Her style gives us an updated 80’s vibe that takes us back to the sounds and style of some forgettable duos like Milli Vanilli with a fun twist.
We like how she takes semi-retro vibes and mixes it with the new, in trends such as colored animal print tops and stylish up to date ankle boots. Her signature stand out hats add the perfect touch to her wardobe that makes each chic statement her own.
If you would like to be considered as our Fashion Bombshell or Bomber of the day, please submit 8 to 10 clear style or fashion photos to submissions@fashionbombdaily.com

Before the ceremonies, most people like with any event are awaiting their favorite celebrities to grace the red carpet dripping in their designer’s best. The celebrities bring their A-game every year, after all it is a fashion award show. So, let’s take a look at the Top 10 looks based on your likes and engagements on Instagram:
With Black Lives Matter movement, the world’s gaze is now cast onto black owned businesses and how they can support. We at Fashion Bomb Daily have been champions for this cause for years, and even created a marketplace for Black Designers, FashionBombDailyShop.com.
Our best-selling Olayemii bags have been a fan-fave since we stocked them in the Fashion Bomb Daily Shop and designer, Tanise Francis couldn’t be more grateful for the love and support she’s received surrounding her bomb bags. She started the brand with simply a dollar and dream in 2017 and now, Olayemii has grown into so much more than handbags.
Tanise Francis is a New York native who went to Delaware State University to major in fashion design and merchandising. Originally, Francis had hopes on becoming a lawyer or businesswoman, but her passion for fashion was too overwhelming to be held back. While at Delaware State, she joined a modeling troupe called Model Inc which is where her desire to pursue fashion came from. She realized she was much more intrigued by the designers rather than being a front-and-center model.
In April of 2017, Tanise Francis launched the Olayemii “I am Worthy Of Wealth”. She tells us, “Olayemii is a sophisticated collection of premium Ankara printed handbags and apparel. Each high-quality piece is hand-crafted by artists in Nigeria. What makes Olayemii bags unique is their African Ankara print fabric that’s juxtaposed with traditionally styled handbags. Designed in a western style with the top handle shape as well as the overall construction of the bag. These uniquely made bags have plenty of pockets for storage, and they’re lined with velvet.“
Tanise Francis offers, “Olayemii’s mission is to become a household name that is recognized worldwide, while also providing jobs to Nigerian women to help support their families. These women are the tailors who manufacture the bags. Olayemii is a growing brand, who cares about the quality and design of our products while maintaining African culture.”
Tanise Francis describes the Olayemii Woman: “The Olayemii Woman is beautifuly styled, fashion-forward, and remains on trend. She is a woman who wants and appreciates Luxury and the African culture.” Olayemii has become popular with celebrities and influencers like beauty influencer Anaya Ivy, LHHNY star Tahiry Jose, musical artist Janelle Monae, and even our very own Editor-In-Chief Claire Sulmers.
The designer’s hardwork and success did not come without challenges which she overcame when she realized that she was helping others. She explains, “Running my business between Nigeria and New York City is very challenging. Picking the perfect fabrics for the customers and creating the perfect style bag… but it’s all worth it. I’m able to provide jobs to single mothers in Nigeria. My tailors in Nigeria are able to feed there families from executing my design ideas.” Also, Francis even takes the earnings from her company back to Nigeria to feed less fortunate children.
Tanise hopes to get her bags into Target or Macy’s one day, so the world can grow to appreciate and understand the beauty of African culture. She tells Fashion Bomb Daily she is “forever grateful” for everyone who has purchased and supported Olayemii’s handbags. She thanks us for believing in a girl from the Bronx and providing her with a bigger platform to sell her bags.
Fashionable theme? Check. Star power? Absolutely. Funds that go towards charity? Yep! So could the Wearable Art Gala be the Next Met Gala?
The question came to mind as Beyonce’s Lion King inspired Georges Hobeika couture ensemble popped onto my Instagram Timeline this morning.
Beyoncé embodied a fierce lioness at the #2019wearableartgala in a custom @georgeshobeika #lionking inspired ensemble.
After we posted, reader @BGladimbg wrote, “So this is where her Met Gala looks go now…down to the Wearable Art Gala.” Astute observation. And why shouldn’t they? The Met Gala is a fundraiser, with proceeds benefitting the Met Museum of Art’s Costume Institute. The parade of style marks the opening of the Costume Institute’s annual fashion exhibit, always attracts an A List crowd, and has a theme.
Last night, the Wearable Art Gala raised $2 million to put art back into our communities, and welcomed the likes of Beyonce, Kelly Rowland, Michelle Williams, Marsai Martin, and of course hosts Richard Lawson and Ms. Tina Lawson, and many more, with a Lion King theme.
While the Met Gala is on the East Coast, the Wearable Art Gala is on the West Coast. And just imagine if the stars we yearn to see at the Met Gala, like Rihanna, Kim Kardashian, Zendaya, Sarah Jessica Parker, and more gave the same energy to the Wearable Art Gala?

There is certainly room out there for more than one Fashion Focused Ball, don’t you think?
