Now, let’s get into this year’s most fashionable kids:

In no particular order:

  1. North West

North West has definitely caught our attention with her vibrant street style! She has definitely been taking styling tips from her fashionable parents, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West.

North West is not afraid to show off her spirited style. She loves to create her own fashions and incorporate items straight from her mother’s closet to complete her look.

North’s youthful nature is reflected through her style of dress. She likes to go bold or go home!

What a cutie!

2. Taylen Biggs (@taylenbiggs)

Taylen Biggs is a mini fashion influencer who has been seen in viral videos sitting front row at NYFW, capturing the heart of audiences all-around for her adorable looks!

Taylen’s style can best be described as unconventional and outside-the-box as she loves to experiment with daring pieces!

Taylen’s go-to accessory is a vibrantly colored hairstyle which ultimately sets off her fashion-week-ready looks.

3. True Thompson

True Thompson is the adorable daughter to Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson! At only 1 years old, she is already making a name for herself in the fashion world with her designer looks.

From Burberry to Dolce and Gabbana, True has been spotted in several designer looks paired with that cheeky, irresistible smile of hers!

True has truly given us a year of cuteness overload with her baby chic looks!

4. Kaavia James Wade (@kaaviajames)

Known on Instagram as the #ShadyBaby, Kaavia James brightens our feeds with her famous shady Instagram posts but also her sense of style which she has adopted from her mother and father, Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade.

Kaavia’s style can best be described as contemporary and baby trendy!

Her fave accessory happens to be her head wraps which pairs with almost all of her looks!

5. Junie Shumpert (@babyjunie4)

Junie Shumpert is the daughter of Teyana Taylor and Iman Shumpert…can’t you tell? She’s a perfect mixture of both of them. Teyana and Iman love to do it big when it comes to streetwear, and it seems they are rubbing off on Junie!

Junie has definitely been taking notes from her parents but also adding her own personal touch to her looks!

Junie loves to experiment with bold colors and prints and she loves to pair her looks with a good pair of sneakers or boots.

6. Kulture Cephus

Kulture has been coming through dripping with styling by fashionista, rapper, and mommy, Cardi B!

With her favorite toothbrushes as accessories, Kulture has been heating up Instagram with the most adorable toddler fashion!

You rarely catch her without designer as she stays flay in Gucci, Dolce and Gabbana, and even Chanel! She’s got fashion taste just like her mama.

7. Aria De Chicchis (@aria_is_chicc)

Cutie Aria is also a young style influencer who has caught our attention through her eccentric NYFW looks and her celebrity recreations.

Aria loves to tackle categories in fashion to execute looks, channeling topics like the Met Gala theme and movies for outfit inspo.

Be on the lookout for more style from Aria, she is definitely one to watch!

8. Blue Ivy Carter

We have literally watched Blue grow into quite a fashionable young lady, taking after her mother in style and appearance!

Blue always gives off voguish vibes as she is typically draped in the best-of-the-best when she is spotted out which is usually for special occasions.

Even on her chill days, Blue’s casual looks still break the internet!

9. Laiyah Brown (@laiyahbrown)

Laiyah Brown has definitely been taking a few styling notes from momma, Monica Denise!

Laiyah has been on our style radar as she’s been steadily molding her fearless style!

She gets it from her mama! Like Monica, Laiyah isn’t afraid to take fashion risks and shake up her looks.

10. Jonas (@mrjonasjackson) and Johan (@iamprincejoso) Jackson

It is no doubt that the Jackson brothers have been heavily swayed by their parents, Emily B and Fabolous, and their evident streetwear influence.

Much like Fab, Jonas and Johan keep their sneaker game and apparel up to par with the hottest streetwear brands like Billionaire Boys Club and Supreme.

While they typically complement each other’s fly, the brothers know how to stand alone as well when it comes to fashion, each possessing their own individual flare in street style.

We can’t get over all this cuteness! They are all winners in our book!

We will be revealing all of our categories for Best of 2019 as the FABY’s gets closer! RSVP to our Awards Show in NYC on December 13th here.

Best Tips for Girls to Make a Good Impression on Their First Date

Are you going on your first date? Ready for a relationship? You must be very excited to meet a guy what seems to be a man of your dreams. The feelings are REAL! First dates can be both exciting as well as scary, and you must be nervous about a lot of things like if he is going to like you in person or not, right? Well, don’t worry, we have got you covered. Below in this article, we’ve mentioned a few tips that can be very helpful for you to make a good first impression. To learn about them and to prepare yourself for a perfect date, be sure to read this article till the end!

Dress to Impress

First things first, you have to choose the perfect outfit for your first date. One thing your partner will notice is how you are dressed. Most girls panic when the dress to impress pressure is on. If you are panicking, then don’t worry there is nothing to stress about, choosing the right dress is as simple as making a sandwich, yeah that wasn’t a good example. Well, what we meant is you should choose a color that you’re often complimented on because it is the safest option.

Plus, you need to opt for the outfit according to the type of date you will have. For example, if you are going on a coffee date, then jeans or a casual dress would be perfect. Similarly, if you are going on a dinner date, then go for a pair of skinny leather pants with a silk blouse, clutch, some accessories, and a classic black or nude heels. If you don’t have an outfit, then go and get your hands on one. When shopping online, you can find dresses using color slider to find precisely the same color you want to wear.

Listen to What He’s Saying

Nothing is as annoying as the girl who is not paying attention to what her partner is saying. You don’t want to be that girl. For this, you need to listen to what he is saying and what he is talking about. A good and interesting conversation happens when both are participating equally. Don’t make him feel like you are not interested and letting things go in one ear, and out the other.

Guys hate that when girls do this. I mean everyone doesn’t like this. Therefore, listen to him and respond like you are loving what he is saying. Obviously, you don’t want to embarrass yourself by asking him a question he already answered a few minutes ago.

Don’t be an Open Book

Guys like it when a girl maintains a mystery. They think it is attractive. The tip for making him fall for you more and more is to not giving away too much, too soon. If you tell him all about yourself, what you like, what you do, what are your interests, your family, and basically everything, then there is nothing left to look forward to.

You want to leave him craving more. Unless you know him well and trust him fully, you also don’t want to give him every personal detail about yourself in case he turns out to be a clinger or total creep. Give it some time, take it slow, and get to know each other slowly. In short, don’t be an open book on your first date.

Michelle Obama Attends American Portrait Gala in Ciron and Silver Embellished Schiaparelli Gown

When we think of 1st lady style icons, we name Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis as our likely number one choice. With fashion, couture and the images of American style changing, we have another iconic woman that could claim the fashion crown. Former 1st lady Michelle Obama impresses us time after time with her grace, sophistication and of course impeccable, classy attire.

She left us all completely stunned and taken aback with her latest daring perfect style earlier this week. The adored former 1st lady wore an exquisite citrus yellow Schiaparelli Haute Couture gown, designed by Daniel Roseberry to the American Portrait Gala in Washington D.C.

The occasion? Rightly so, to award six honorees with the “Portrait of a Nation Prize.” The recognition is for high achievements in science, business, media, fashion and performing arts. Mrs. Obama presented Lin-Manuel Miranda with the Prize in performing arts for highly distinguished efforts on his Tony award winning play adaptations of “In The Heights” and the very popular “Hamilton.”

Michelle never ceases to amaze us. Styled by Meredith Coop, the fashion guru on her Instagram page stated “through design, communication, sewing, & redesign, then tailoring, fitting, more sewing,” blood, sweat and tears, and with the assistance & design genius of Daniel Roseberry, the birth of this couture “baby” was finally meticulously born.

Hand sewn crystals were a must to process the vision created by Coop of a “chandelier” coming to life through style. “Bold, bright, shining and unapologetic,” were the words Coop used to describe her muse for this remarkable couture moment in time. This dress gives us chills! It’s just perfect timing for inspo for our fabulous and 1st ever “The Faby Awards.” Our dress code is shine, bling and sparkle, going down in New York City December 13th! RSVP early here now! We all were awed, amazed to see the finale created. And for a great period of a few moments in time, all we talked about on social media was Michelle Obama and fashion.

Without further ado: please find our most fashionable movies ever list below!

In no particular order:

  1. Clueless
Clueless. 1995, starring: Alicia Sliverstone, Stacey Dash & Brittany Murphy

The fashion & style in the unforgettable movie Clueless was a game changer. Cher & Donnie were a match made in style heaven!

Cher a match maker herself, lead an iconic role in the movie full of epic ’90s fashions, like plaid skirt suits, knee-high socks, and babydoll dresses.

Teen movies & high school dress codes were never the same, adopting the upscale, and what we now call “bad and boujee” swag as a must in many teenybopper character roles good and bad, and even crossing social status.

2. The Devil Wears Prada

The Devil Wears Prada. 2006, starring Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway & Emily Blunt

The Devil Wears Prada’s take on the fashion industry was not only eye opening, but also had women young & old wanting to update at least one piece in their wardrobe in honor of this classic & bold comedy/ drama on work, life, love and passion for fashion.

The wardrobe budget for this movie was one of the highest in movie history ($1 million.) It also dealt with the undeniable necessity of balance & the simple things, taking the love of style to another level. Andy’s style makeover in all Chanel was another iconic style movie moment.

And Miranda Priestly and those coats? Iconic.

3. Sex and the City Movie

Sex and the City. 2008, starring Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis, Cynthia Nixon, & Chris Noth

The Divas of Sex and the City explored fashion sense from various grown gal perspectives with much accuracy from within the last decade in the city of style aka New York, with an entire movie and it worked like a charm.

This spin off from the amazingly popular show took theaters by storm. We can never get enough of Carrie, Samantha, Charlotte or Miranda, and our love for Manolo Blahnik heels.

4. Breakfast at Tiffany’s

Breakfast at Tiffany’s. 1961, starring Audrey Hepburn and George Peppard

Not many movies can compare with the level of legendary style in Breakfast at Tiffany’s. Debuting in 1961, this is one of the most well known old Hollywood movies for fashion. Breakfast at Tiffany’s stars a fashion icon herself, Audrey Hepburn.

The unforgettable costume designs by Givenchy, Hepburn’s real-life BFF, have become the protype of little black dresses worldwide and no doubt endless Halloween costumes.” Need we say more?

5. Mahogony

Mahogany. 1975, starring Diana Ross & Billy D. Williams

Queen Diana Ross took her talents and fashion sense to the big screen with the help of genius Barry Gordy. The creation was priceless and the end result, the movie Mahogany during the 70’s, changed the fashion game.

Fitted maxi dresses, afro-centric headpieces, hats, big hair, shades, colorful gowns & much more thrust African American style to the forefront of fashion.

6. Oceans 8

Oceans 8. 2018, starring Sarah Paulson, Sandra Bullock Rihanna, Cate Blanchett

Each character in Ocean’s 8 had their own signature & significant style. The costume designer wanted to represent each woman intensely through their wardrobe. One of these leading ladies had up to 65 wardrobe changes for the movie.

It definitely screams “year of the woman.” If you want a glimpse of today’s modern boss chick, from all backgrounds & cultures & the future of female strength, watch this movie.

7. Pretty Woman

Pretty Woman. 1990, starring Julia Roberts and Richard Gere

A movie with Richard Gere and Julia Roberts, how much more fashionable can you get? This new age Cinderella tale was as witty and charming as the style choices.

The best part of the film is watching Julia’s fashion transformation from around the way girl to gal about town. Every lady loves a great style & image makeover every once in a while. And the fellas like Richard, love the outcome too, which made this movie a classic to watch over and over.

8. Boomerang

Boomerang. 1992, starring Eddie Murphy, Robin Givens & Halle Berry

This unforgettable golden area of the 90’s movie introduced the world into a glimpse of real life upscale, professional African American attire.

The business suits, dresses and amazing hair, including Halle’s signature hair cut and fashionably well groomed motivated team of testy individuals, kept you laughing and at the same time seriously captivated.

Legendary Grace Jones, iconic style queen Eartha Kitt, even John Witherspoon took to the screen with unforgettable fashion scenes as well. Women wanted to dress like Robin & Halle. Men wanted their suit game to match Eddie.

Want to relive the fantasy? Get your Boomerang t-shirt here.

9. Shaft

Shaft. 1971, starring Richard Roundtree, Moses Gunn, Charles Cioffi, Christopher St. John, & Lawrence Pressman

The 70’s took a progressive but sobering turn for African Americans and our nation with the strides made by the Civil Rights movement coupled with the loss of great leaders like Malcolm X & Martin Luther King. We expressed ourselves and our emotions through the arts, and a new era of fashion, music, style and culture emerged.

Movies like Foxy Brown & Shaft expressed the change incorporating black leather and Afros, and the signature styles of the Black Panthers. Platforms and widelegs, colorful jumpsuits also came into style as part of the cultural freedom. Richard Roundtree became a movie stylish “superhero” in his own right, making the movie Shaft and its fashion sense unmatched and unforgettable.

10. The Way We Were

The Way We Were. 1973, starring Robert Redford & Barbara Streisand

Some movies capture a time in history with it all. The music, the culture, the style & fashion. The Way We Were is one of those movies. Robert Redford & Barabra Streisand are A list actors not only in their craft, but style icons as well. They made way for other stylish on screen couples like Richard & Julia, Brad & Angelina.

Debuting in 1973, the movie immpecably tells a love story, with the costume design to match. Baby Boomers still consider this one of their favorite movies of all time. Every style statement in the scenes are undeniable but also intricatly tedious.

Redford’s military uniforms were perfection. Even the color of Barbara Streisand’s long finger nails were (painted red purposely) as a symbol of her revolutionary tendencies. The imagery & classic lines in this all star cast’s wardrobe are still mimicked today and make the magic of movies and their fashion & style so important in culture & lifestyle.

Here’s to even more fashionable moments in 2020 and beyond!

What is the most fashionable movie ever?!
