The Spring/Summer season is here and Bottega Veneta’s mesh pumps are having a moment with the celebrities gearing up for the warm weather.

Appearing in endless colors including yellow, red and green with a price tag of $930, the shoe is complete with a stretched leather trim along with a fishnet-mesh toe and heel detail topped off with a wraparound ankle-tie. Celebrities like Rihanna, Nicki Minaj and Kylie Jenner are loving the brand’s chic mesh pumps, providing endless ways to the style the shoe perfect for this season.

Rihanna wore a custom crochet dress by ShaSweets (@shasweets23) paired with Bottega Veneta’s mesh pumps in white.

Nicki Minaj wore the popular Bottega Veneta mesh pumps in yellow with a $265 Charlotte Knowles Orange Jersey Skinn Dress along with $985 Rick Owens Multicolor Shielding Sunglasses and a Chanel Sequin Mini Flap Bag, styled by DiAndre Tristan.

Jordyn Woods also rocked the yellow Bottega Veneta mesh pumps with Miaou’s “Moni” $225 corset top and $145 skirt set.

Yung Miami wore the yellow mesh pumps by Bottega Veneta with a $1,795 Balmain jacquard bodycon mini dress.

Kylie Jenner wore a $398 Alexander Wang T.Knotted Halterneck Mini Leather Dress (sold out) paired with Bottega Veneta’s black mesh pumps and a black crocodile Hermès Birkin bag.

DreamDoll Keeps It Chic in a Black Buckle Pleated Skirt by Fashion Nova

DreamDoll was spotted out and about rocking a stylish ensemble. When it came to her look, she gave us a moment of high-low fashion rocking a Fashion Nova black pleated skirt with designer pieces.

DreamDoll wore Fashion Nova’s $29.99 Bad Reputation Pleated Mini Skirt in black. First things first, this is not your typical pleated preppy skirt. This mini skirt features a half pleated skirt, half short style which essentially makes it a skort. The side with the shorts includes an edgy buckle which wraps around the thigh.

While the black version DreamDoll wore is sold out, there is also a grey and black plaid colorway available!

DreamDoll paired the skirt with a baby pink Celine hoodie and salmon pink Hermes Birkin bag along with a pair of black Givenchy “Shark Lock” boots.

Pyer Moss to Show During Paris Couture Fashion Week

It was announced that Pyer Moss will be showing in Paris for a Haute Couture Fall 2021 show as they were invited by the Chamber Sundicale/Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode as a guest member.

This news serves as a historical moment for the founder Kerby Jean-Raymond as this makes him the first Black Black designer to be invited by the Chambre Syndicale to show for Haute Couture. Designer Patrick Kelly was the first Black designer to be accepted as a member of the Chambre Syndicale, presenting four couture collections during his time with the French governing fashion organization. Olviier Rousteing of Balmain and Jay Jaxon at Jean-Louis Scherrer were the amongst the first to actually present couture for the specified calendar event.

Known for only showing during September’s New York Fashion Week, Pyer Moss has captivated audiences with its powerful garments and runway presentations, both of which tell stories surrounding the history and culture of Black people. We can definitely expect more gripping shows from the Pyer Moss brand as they are expected to return to the NYFW runway this September, just after the Met Gala!

On Haute Couture Fall 2021 in Paris, DAZED tells: “The presentation will join other highly anticipated events, including the long-awaited, one-off Jean Paul Gaultier Couture collection by Sacai designer Chitose Abe and Balenciaga’s return to Couture after more than 50 years.“

Christopher John Rogers is a Brooklyn based black designer and recipient of 2020’s CFDA award for womenswear designer of the year.

His pieces this season reflect his exuberant aesthetic, and boast a color palette of rainbow hues.

On Saturday, another epic Verzuz battle went down between iconic R&B groups SWV and Xscape! Fashion Bomb Daily was on the scene at the Verzuz battle in Atlanta and you know we got details on the looks from the event. Members of both groups wore all-black looks for the musical battle, with Xscape members rocking ensembles styled by Jeremy Haynes aka No IG Jeremy. Let’s get into the details of their fits:

Kandi went with a fierce look, opting for an $1,900 Alex Perry “Leighton” zebra print jersey catsuit (sold out) paired with a Tyre Lajuan hematite Swarovski Crystal corset (unavailable) and $1,195 Christian Louboutin Epic Rose 100 wraparound patent-leather sandals.

Tiny Harris shimmered in a full sequined look during the Saturday Verzuz battle! She wore a $180 Shane Justin “Lights Camera Action” top in black paired with a $3,395 Balmain cropped sequined jacket and $755 Junya Watanabe for Comme des Garçons black sequin biker shorts. She complete the look with $1,075 Christian Louboutin Poupedou spiked raffia-trimmed leather sandals.
