Just yesterday, designer Michael Costello accused Chrissy Teigen of cyberbullying him, causing him depression and pushing him to the brink of suicide. Since making headlines including ours, two women of the industry have also come forward to share their personal experiences with Michael Costello, claiming that “he’s the biggest bully of them all”.

Ellaè Lisquè designer Maxie J commented under our post highlighting the story, recalling an incident between her and Costello which resulted in the two apparently coming to blows in a fabric store. She shares, “But he’s not telling the whole story which is absolutely making my skin crawl, he was getting blacklisted for calling me the ‘N’ word twice, once online and once in person. He was able to get his PR team to turn it around and claim ‘photoshop’, but then a year later, I see him a fabric store and he calls me the ‘N’ word to my face. We had a whole fist [punch emoji] fight in the fabric store and everything [palm face emoji]. I didn’t even know this man and I was brand new to the industry, he continued to bully me 7 years ago and now he wanna claim victim? He really needs to chill, DRAMA king at his finest.“

Singer Leona Lewis also shared her story today where she claimed she was booked to do a charity fashion with Michael Costello as her assigned designer of which he refused to work with her due to her body type. She states, “When I got to my fitting, I was made to feel very awkward and uncomfortable as the dress was a sample size and he/his team clearly did not want to alter it to fit me. This came as a total surprise because weeks prior I was told that they would make the dress work for me.” She proceeds, “At the next fitting , the night before the show, with no explanation at all, Michael refused to turn up. He no longer wanted to dress me and he abandoned his commitments to me and the show which made me well aware that I wasn’t the body type required.“

The incident resulted in Lewis pulling out of the show and watching from the crowd. She expressed that she was “embarrassed and deeply hurt” as well as “humiliated” because she felt this situation made her seem “difficult” to work with to the press and others.

Both Maxie J and Leona Lewis both wished him healing and hopes of change with Maxie J typing, “I’m just praying he learns from his actions THIS go round.” While Lewis adds, “I wish him so much love and healing.”

We are always highlighting new, diverse designers who’s talents simply cannot go unnoticed! Today, we would like to introduce you to our newest addition to the Fashion Bomb Daily Shop: jewelry designer Seville Michelle and her self-named brand‘s hoop earrings that the celebrities cannot get enough of.

Seville Michelle was born and raised in Queens, New York where much of her style was influenced by the culture and lifestyle she was surrounded by on a daily basis. We often recognize the 1990s as one of the most influential eras of fashion and jewelry, and so does Seville when it comes to her design process and inspiration. She indulged herself in the biggest trends of the decade including the oversized doorknocker earrings and chunky gold chains. Matched with the nightlife scene of the time, Seville characterizes her jewelry designs as a re-imagination of the accessories from her youth, merging New York’s street style with its luxury side as well.

Stepping on the fashion scene in 2009, Seville landed her pieces at Patricia Field’s store, House of Field, where she was already breaking barriers with her shoulder jewelry, or epaulets, with more fresh ideas in the works.

During her time at the House of Field, she developed her now-immensely popular hoop earrings. Appearing in various shapes and wrapped in luxe fabrics like snakeskin, Seville Michelle’s earrings quickly soared to unimaginable heights landing on celebrities such as Beyoncé, Jennifer Lopez, Lizzo and so many more.

Seville Michelle and her ultra-chic hoop earrings have been featured in several magazines including Vogue, Complex, Forbes, and Glamour to name a few. Additionally, she frequently works with the NBA and designed jewelry for Roxanne Shante’s Netlfix film Roxanne Roxanne. Seville also operates Seville for the People, an educational company that gives back to communities in need and has been featured on the Today Show.

In love yet? Well, Seville Michelle’s earrings are now available on Fashion Bomb Daily Shop! You can shop her Malena Earrings (as worn by Alicia Keys and wrapped in a metallic blue leather) and Pumpkin Spice Hoops (as seen on Lizzo and wrapped in a metallic leather in a scallop shape).

Shortly after Chrissy Teigen issued a public apology on the platform Medium for her past run-ins with cyberbullying, fashion designer Michael Costello stepped forward to speak out about his personal experience of being bullied by the former model, alleging that her harsh treatment drove him to contemplate suicide.

Back in 2014, screenshots of an alleged interaction between Michael Costello and a boutique owner were posted where it showed Michael Costello using racial slurs when addressing the owner. As a result, Chrissy Teigen commented on his Instagram page accusing the designer of being a racist. Costello addressed the matter stating that the racial comment was photoshopped and “has been proven false by Instagram and since taken down“.

Michael Costello attempted to reach out to Chrissy Teigen to communicate his side as a “victim of a vindictive cyber slander” of which Teigen responded with statements like “You will get what’s coming to you”, “Racist people like you deserve to suffer and die“, and “Your career is over”.
Since then, Michael Costello has expressed how the unresolved transaction with Teigen has affected his career, essentially resulting in what he describes as being “blacklisted” by the industry. He shared in an Instagram post, “I would book jobs only to be pulled off last minute with no explanation. I would regularly get texts and calls from our mutual fiends and colleagues that her and Monica Rose, a powerful stylist in fashion, have gone out of their way to threaten people and brands that if they were any shape or form associated with me, they would not work with any of them.“

Just yesterday, Michael Costello has come forward to state how the matter with Chrissy Teigen and Monica Rose and the false narrative itself has caused him years of trauma and thus, depression and thoughts of taking his own life. Seven years later, Costello states how he has not recovered from the experience and only wishes to set himself free by speaking his truth.

He exclusively shared with Fashion Bomb Daily: “I just want to do as it says in the Bible forgive and forget – and let he who is with out sin cast the first stone.“

Athleisure style is on the rise in both men and women’s fashion, and while joggers and sweatpants were previously only suitable for the gym and a lazy day at home, this is genuinely no longer the case. Fortunately, the trends of the day showcase comfort as a critical element, and while you can’t wear your joggers to work, there are tons of trendy ways to pull off a pair of joggers this year.
Joggers are slightly different to sweatpants, as these comfortable pants were originally designed as gym wear, which is why they are so exceptionally comfortable. Unlike sweatpants, joggers are tapered at the leg, lightweight, and highly comfortable. There’s a massive variety of styles and designs out there, as you can even find cargo jogger pants that are slightly less casual. With that said, if you aren’t entirely sure how to create stylish outfits with joggers, we have rounded up a few practical tips to simplify your outfit choices for you.
Joggers aren’t suitable for the office or any other formal occasions. However, you can pull off numerous casual outfits by pairing joggers with other casual pieces in your wardrobe. A great choice is high top sneakers, a plain vest, oversized t-shirts, or even fitted t-shirts. Other great shoe choices include iconic sneakers such as those from the vintage Vans collection, Adidas sneakers, and various Nike designs.
During colder weather, you can pair your joggers with a stylish sweatshirt; again, well-fitted sweatshirts are excellent, while oversized sweatshirts are the slightly more fashion-forward choice. You can also pair joggers with various cardigans, although it’s always best to opt for a well-fitted size when pairing with cardigans.
When wearing cargo joggers, you have the option of pulling your outfit together with a stylish track jacket in colour block designs or even a classic denim jacket. Because cargo joggers are slightly less casual, your jacket choice should complement this factor. It’s never a great choice to pair regular gym joggers with denim jackets as they don’t pair too well.
Biker jackets are best worn with darker fabric, and printed fabric joggers, cargo or regular are perfect options. A pair of camo print joggers will complement a leather biker jacket perfectly. On the other hand, blazers are best paired with cargo joggers, leather loafers, and fitted t-shirts, as blazers often aren’t casual. You could also consider elevator shoes for this fashion-forward outfit choice.
Bomber jackets really are all the rage right now in both men and women’s fashion. When pairing your joggers with a bomber jacket, you can opt for a fitted or oversized t-shirt. However, your shoe choice can be stylish gym shoes or high top sneakers, as this outfit choice is perfectly casual.
There are many ways to wear joggers, as these pants are exceptionally versatile, especially when considering the wide range of fabric choices and extra details. With that said, your joggers’ specific fabric and pattern will determine how you should complete your outfit as some materials are secluded to casual looks while others are suitable for stylish street fashion and semi-casual looks.

Hey Bombshells! Today’s Fashion Bombshell of the Day is Kourtney from Florida, check her out below.
When asked, Kourtney descries her style as, “the NEW YORK “IT WOMAN”. I can pull of Fear of Gods and a NY fitted, Tory Burch and a Forever 21 maxi dress, So Kate’s and a business suit from ASOS or a H&M leather jacket, skinny, high waist Levi’s, Burberry booties with buckles, and an oversized sweater. I am literally EVERY WOMAN (thank you Chaka, R.I.P. Whitney). But like some, I really learned a lot from my mother, Patricia Parrish. She was a model for Ashley Stewart’s and like her, she always made sure I was on a stage or in a camera.

In JHS, I modeled but never got picked to be apart of the infamous Barbizon Agency—it didn’t stop me though. My mom was intentional about my clothing until I learned for myself. Modeling in college, (EPICUREAN MODELING EXPERIENCE, INC. @epicurean94), enhanced awareness even more for me. Attending Bethune-Cookman University in Daytona Beach, FL definitely revealed my NYC style and I wanted it, more than ever, to be obvious.

She finished by saying, “I’d also be remised if I didn’t mention my grandmother is one of the best seamstresses in BROOKLYN, NY. As well as my uncle, Jermaine Parrish, he’s an infamous musical director for a plethora of celebrities. His style is definitely what taught my the importance in details—stitching, good soles, fabrics, starching, how to iron…the works. It really just flows through the family.“
