Helpful Fashion Tips for 4 Different Nights Out

The longed-for day has finally arrived! The workweek is over, it’s Friday night, and you’re more than ready for all that the weekend has in store. However, you have multiple plans scheduled, and no idea what to wear for any of them. Finding the perfect outfit can be quite intimidating, especially when a stack of activities forces you to vary your wardrobe accordingly. What is appropriate for some event or place may not be as appropriate in another setting. That’s why, below, you’ll find a helpful guide on how to dress your best for four different occasions. After all, everyone wants to feel confident and comfortable in the clothes they choose to wear, no matter where they are headed.

Nightclub

So, you’re off for an exciting night of dancing with your friends but are at a loss for what to wear to the nightclub. For women, a mini dress or mini skirt + blouse combo is a great option for both the summer and winter seasons, as they can be worn without a jacket when it’s cold and paired with stockings and a cute cover-up in colder weather. British “It” girl Ashley James proved this to be true in her recent outing to Cargo Nightclub with a fashionable purple patent mini skirt and over-the-knee heeled boots. As far as menswear goes, you can never go wrong with trousers, nice shoes, and a collared shirt. Some nightclub locations may even have some rules concerning dress codes. For example, no ripped jeans, open-toed shoes, or casual/ athletic wear. Therefore, always be sure to check the venue’s website before leaving the house.

Just because you’re dancing the night away doesn’t mean you can’t also be stylish while doing so!

Casino

Nowadays, when someone wants to play Blackjack, Roulette, Baccarat, or any other popular casino game, an electronic device is right there to meet their needs. Because of the widespread popularity of online casino gaming which connects users to titles like these and their variants, less and less people are venturing out to land-based locations. However, if you do fancy an evening of real-life casino action, one question remains: ‘Do you need to be dressed like James Bond in order to gain access?’ Despite what the movies may depict, casino fashion varies by location, much like nightclubs. But some general rules of thumb are to never wear sneakers and avoid flip-flops. A fashionable cocktail dress is ideal for women, while men may opt for business-style clothes or even a suit if the casino is swanky enough.

Fancy Dinner

Potlucks or dinner parties at home are all the rage these days, but sometimes it can be just as nice to reserve a table at a restaurant for a change. Going out will allow you to save time cooking and also give you an opportunity to dress to impress! Restaurant wear also depends on the style of the place, but for these purposes imagine you are going out to a fancy dinner with friends, loved ones, or a partner. Some classy yet trendy options include pairing elegant high heels with a solid-colored dress or, for more of a statement piece, a jumpsuit with snake print sandals and a complementary clutch. Men may choose anything from a nice dress shirt with chinos, to dark trousers and a blazer. If it’s cold outside, don’t worry too much about the jacket you’ll wear since the doorman will take it from you when you enter the restaurant.

For a classier dinner outside of the home, take this opportunity to dress up more than you normally would

Concert

Looking for the perfect concert day outfit? Again this will depend on the type of music you’re going to see, but generally, concerts are more laid-back environments with crowds of screaming fans wearing T-shirts with their favorite singers plastered across the front. For example, at a rock concert, donning a leather jacket, band tee, ripped jeans and boots will make you feel right at home. Whether it’s an outdoor or indoor venue, check out these ideas for further inspiration.
