Her coat was nabbed at one of her favorite sites, 1st Dibs. According to the site, “The lining says “From Criscione With Love”- appears to be a custom piece- it is attributed to Roberto Cavalli but we don’t know that for sure.”

Her bag is in a signature Dior silhouette.

Her sandals have an almond toe shape.

Her classic logo trucker hat is sold out everywhere and features a mesh back.

Fashion Bombshell of the Day: Ebonne from L.A

Hey Bombshells! Todays Fashion Bombshell of the Day is Ebonne from L.A. She says, “I would describe my style mainly as tomboy chic; however since becoming a mom, my style evolved effortlessly.” Check her out below.

She continued by saying, “I don’t get to dress up often, but when I do, I try to make it memorable for myself and my audience. I’m the girl that loves a tug and a “where’d you get that from?” so that I can dish the deets.”

Claire’s Life: Hosting a Private Screening for Death on the Nile, In Theaters February 11th!

Happy Hump Day!

Last night, I was thrilled to host my first screening of 2022, for the murder mystery film, Death on the Nile!

The movie takes place in the 1930’s, and features well-heeled aristocrats from London and Paris. The cinematography and wardrobe styling by Paco Delgado are visually arresting and supremely stunning. Aside from the intrigue, you will be awed by the beauty of the film.

Fashion Bomb Daily VIPS were treated to an advance screening–provided that they dress according to theme! They did not disappoint:

Sparkles, feathers, and bell shaped hats for on tap for this stylish duo.

Bombshell Christiana looked like the Queen of the Nile in a feather trimmed dress and a crystal headpiece.

The fellas represented with this young man in a printed suit and matching bowtie.

Both these Fashion Bomb men offered their own unique takes on the theme. It works!

Yolanda from the brand Rum Island Punch packed a punch in all black and a feathered hat.

True Indian Hair founder Karen Mitchell and her friend Leslie were stunning in furs. I was living for Leslie’s hooded Roberto Cavalli gown!

And this Bombshell was subtle and chic in a cloche hat and vintage coat.

As for me, I slipped on sequins and feathers in a Nadine Merabi dress and Gucci heels.

I went for it with hair and makeup by Tyra’s Hair Experience and Makeup by Latisha Chancey-Jordan.

And then had a lovely time meeting and greeting our fabulous guests!

Thank you to everyone who came out!

Next up? New York Fashion Week! Keep it locked here for updates.

And be sure to check out the movie Death on the Nile, in theaters February 11th!

As Kim Kardashian Covers Vogue’s Latest Cover, Readers Question: Where’s the Tribute to Andre Leon Talley? + State of Fashion Compares Ebony Magazine’s Tribute

Kim Kardashian covers Vogue Magazine’s latest issue, with the tagline, “Kim’s New World: I’ve Chosen Myself.”

📸 @carlijnjacobs for @voguemagazine

Other feature stories include a testimony from African-American writer Janell Okwodu about how fashion finally made space for her. Missing was any mention of one of Vogue’s first, most effervescent, and pioneering Black editors, Andre Leon Talley.

Credit: @AndreLTalley

@missaugust2u wrote, “Where is Andre’s Cover?” @drakesuniverse added, “Andre needs this cover! She has contributed nothing to society! NOTHING! Smh” @You_No_Nan offered, “Andre Leon Talley should’ve donned the cover. 🕊🙏🏾💐” @Typhh.ahh.nee, typed, “😴😴😴 They should have honored Andre.”

Perhaps Andre’s tribute is inside? Or maybe this issue had already gone to print before he could be included. The magazine world works differently from the digital world–many covers and cover features are decided and concretized 3 months in advance. Let’s hope his tribute (or maybe even cover) are coming soon.

What do you think?
