The red carpet was rolled out for the Critics Choice Award held in Los Angeles! Out of the many celebrities who made their way past the velvet rope and into the hall, there were some who were simply unforgettable. Here are the top 5 best dressed attendees along with a few duos who killed it together:
1. Angelica Ross in Valdrin Sahiti
Dressed by Apuje Kale, Angelica Ross wore a shimmery strapless gown that featured a high leg slit with Jimmy Choo heels and Levian jewelry. Her hair was styled by Brandon HT and makeup set by remarkable Mark Quirimit. With a glam squad like that, its no wonder she’s on our best dressed list!
2. Issa Rae in Carolina Herrera
This one was a big moment seeing as the Critics Choice awards was Issa Rae and husband Louis Diame’s first red carpet appearance together as a husband and wife! Issa glowed in a frilly floral gown by Carolina Herrera, styled by Jason Rembert, as she graced the stage to present Halle Berry with the SeeHer award. We always love to see Issa in red and pink!
3. Joshua Jackson and Jodie Turner Smith in Gucci
Power couple Josh Jackson and Jodie Smith turned up both wearing Gucci styled by Wayman and Micah. Their outfits were decorated with Bulgari Jewels! Jodie wore rings and bracelets from the Serpenti collection and a crown with emerald stones rested on her up-do, which was done by Ursala Stephen. Her makeup was done by Seika Daley.
4. Serena and Venus Williams in Versace
Sisters Venus and Serena Williams both hit the carpet wearing Versace in silver tones. Venus, styled by Law Roach, wore a deep v, double slit number completed with Messika Paris Jewelry and Sophia Webster heels! Serena on the other hand wore a crystal embezzled mesh dress with a satin drape ballgown skirt courtesy of her stylist Jason Bolden.
5. Taye Diggs in Armani and Apryl Jones in Jean-Louis Sabaji
Taye Diggs, who hosted the Critics Choice Awards this year for the second time in a row, was looking dapper in a purple velvet Giorgio Armani suit, Hulbot watch thanks to his stylists Zadrian Smith and Sarah Edmiston. His date Apryl Jones had a styling team of her own, Seannita and Eric Burns, who put her in a lavish custom Jean-Louis Sabaji purple plumage dress, Saint Laurent heels and Tom Ford bag!

On Ariana’s hair, Takisha Sturdivant-Drew performed her magic while she was made up by Andrea Tiller!

This moment, styled by Jason Rembert, was a hit on the red carpet. Daniel Kaluuya’s Prada ensemble was pulled fresh off the runway of Milan Fashion Week. The Fall-Winter 2022 ready-to-wear number could have easily worn him, but these tones of blue suited him to perfection and wore it with the right attitude and finesse!
3. Lady Gaga in Ralph Lauren
Gaga stunned in a custom gown by Ralph Lauren tailored to the T by Laran Jensen. For accessories, a classically extraordinary selection of diamonds and emeralds from Tiffany and Co. was hand-picked by her stylist duo Tom Eerebout and Sandra Amador. Her hair was coiffed by Frederic Aspiras and make-up done by Sarah Tanno.
4. Naomi Campbell in Burberry
Naomi was the essence of elegance on yesterday’s carpet! In a black velvet floor-length gown with dramatic sleeves and Fawaz Gruosi jewelry, the entire ensemble was effortless and entirely regal from head to toe. We expect nothing else from the Queen herself!
5. Zawe Ashton in Emilia Wickstead
Zawe Ashton truly stole the show in a gracious pink next to her beau Tom Hiddlestone. The look, styled by Holly White, was tastefully accessorized with Cartier jewelry. Her glam was executed by Kim Kiefer and complimented the outfit impeccably.

Heavy metal hardware bags are set to be huge for SS22, so here’s a deep dive into the trend, the styles to watch and how to wear them.
There’s one trend that made the ultimate style statement at the Spring/Summer 2022 shows — and that was heavy metal hardware bags. From single chunky chains to countless standout studs, if your next handbag doesn’t feature sublime gold and silver detailing then — quite frankly — we don’t want to know.
Not sure whether you’re a fan of these bold women’s bags that make the fashion crowd stop and stare? Spoiler alert: by the end of this article, we might just change your mind.
First things first, studs and chains aren’t a new concept in the fashion world. These sharp, unapologetic details have been around since the sixties when punk rock was rife and it became cool to dress like you listened to The Sex Pistols and Ramones (even if you didn’t).
Naturally, throughout the years, metal materials dipped in and out of the mainstream. However, there’s one accessory that just can’t seem to let go of punk-inspired elements — and that’s the humble handbag.

Likewise, Gucci and Bottega Veneta showcased large-loop chain straps on the SS22 catwalks with luscious, slouchy-leather shapes.

The scent concentration is usually listed beneath the name of the perfume on the bottle. The strength of the scent is measured by its concentration.
More perfume oils and less alcohol are found in perfumes with a greater scent concentration. Parfum, Eau de Parfum, Eau de Toilette, Eau de Cologne, and Eau Fraiche are all fragrance concentration catégories. So, to assist you in finding the appropriate scent for you, we’ve broken down what Eau de Parfum is.
Eau de Parfum (EdP) is a kind of perfume that is somewhat more fragrant than Eau de Toilette, Eau de Cologne, and Eau Fraiche.
Eau de Parfums contain a higher concentration of aromatic chemicals up to 15 percent to 20 percent and can stay longer on the body. Some individuals save their Eau de Parfum for the evening and only use an Eau de Toilette during the day, but the scent has no restrictions!
As perfumes get more concentrated, costs will inevitably rise and container sizes will decrease. Don’t worry if you believe you’re getting ripped off; many people consider Eau de Parfum to be a fair value for money.
Consider this: a few dabs provide a rich, deep aroma that lasts all day and doesn’t require reapplication. You may layer it up for a big event or apply it softly for regular use.
Eau de Parfum comes in stoppered bottles due to its high concentration, but sprays are still quite popular: they’re merely 1-2 oz. instead of the 3-oz. bottle, you’d find with an EdT.
The typical duration of Eau de Parfum is ten to sixteen hours. Even though Eau de Parfum has a larger alcohol content than Parfum, it is healthier for sensitive skin than other scent categories. Eau de Parfum is a popular type of fragrance that is ideal for regular use.
Eau de Parfum, often known as EdP, is the second most concentrated of all the fragrances.
EdP fragrances are inherently more costly than EdT scents, but they stay longer, up to 10 hours on skin and roughly 16 hours on clothing. Its price is justified by its longevity.
A decade ago, Eau de Parfum was solely available in lady perfumes. But, thankfully, more and more EdP scents are becoming offered to men, and those who have gotten on the EdP bandwagon will never look back!
So, why would anyone want an EdT perfume anymore? The solution is because it is one of the freshest perfumes among others currently on the market. Eau de Parfum fragrances are often significantly stronger, and not everyone can tolerate the aroma of a powerful perfume. You also wouldn’t want to wear an exceedingly strong perfume in hot weather or in locations where you spend most of your time, such as a tiny workplace with few people.
However, not all EdP scents are overpowering; some might be as delicate as EdT.
Eau De Parfum is a must-have if you’re going out on a date or for any other special event. EdP perfumes have a stronger effect and linger longer; they also don’t fade over the day. This makes Eau de Parfum an excellent choice for passing the time over a few beers.
Women’s Eau De Parfums are frequently far more powerful and richer than men’s, which is why they are often saved for nighttime wear; however, there is no hard and fast rule!
