The Top 5 Shows at Men’s Fashion Week Spring 2023: Kenzo, Louis Vuitton, Givenchy, Versace and Fendi

London, Milan and Paris Men’s Fashion Week have collectively set the month of June ablaze! Between all three cities, there were many shows, a whole crop of stars in attendance and a huge set of trends to emerge from style moments both on and off the runway. Today, we’re here to talk about the top 5 shows over the past month and what stood out:

Kenzo

The Kenzo menswear show was a memorable one featuring both male and female models in clothes for both genders. The concept of the collection pulled inspiration from the 1980s show by Kenzo Takada based on a sports day at school. This time, the graduation ‘Class of 2023’ theme took us back to the good old primary school days. The graphic animal prints and 3D florals were a play on archival designs from the Takada era, and Nigo kept it playful yet all grown-up.

Louis Vuitton

Gone but never forgotten, a live marching band and performance by Kendrick Lamar swept the runway during the LV menswear fashion show in memory of Virgil Abloh. Just like Virgil, the designers behind the show knew no bounds as they designed the collection upon the concept of free play. The end result was a series of imaginative and creative garments including wavy baggy trousers, boxy and cropped blazers along with vibrant color choices contrasted against muted ones.

Givenchy

In a strong catwalk presentation, Givenchy added their touch to the menswear style scene. Each garment was a thought-out balance of soft and harsh elements incorporating rips, tears and hardware to otherwise delicate and clean looks, while adding pastels or mesh to those in need of a lighter air.

Versace

Donatella Versace returned the masks of Pompeii from the archive for this collection, but this time with a twist. Vivid hues of neon green, blue, pink and orange make up the new color ways of the emblematic print. Additionally, the collection was a play on textures, mixing laser cutout latex with delicate knits and snakeskin with stripes!

Fendi

Workwear meets skate wear in Fendi’s mid ’90s, California inspired menswear showcase. In the designing process, Silvia Fendi expressed her enjoyment creating denim illusions throughout the collection, placing fringes and blue dye on materials that don’t usually boast such features. The Spring 2023 lineup also offers a range of accessories from handbags to jewelry, timepieces, skater shoes, moccasins, slides and others!

Why are Online Casinos so Popular?

Online casinos are now at the forefront of popularity. Although land-based gaming rooms are gradually opening up, allowing players to gamble, online betting squeeze most of the audience. What is the reason for this bet online casino trend? What attracts online casino users around the world?

Top 5 Reasons for Online Casinos to Replace Land-Based Houses

  • Bonuses, rewards, and prizes

Bonuses should be out in the first place because this is what distinguishes land-based and Internet gambling clubs. Online casino bonuses are unique and allow users to receive valuable prizes and benefits as newcomers just getting to know a new hobby. Those who have been gambling for a long time also find many lucrative bounties.

  • Slots diversity

A wide range of virtual slot machines is another factor in which online casinos are far superior to their brick-and-mortar competitors. Agree that placing thousands of slots at a real casino hall is tricky. Online casinos come in many variations, having detailed descriptions including features and settings. The availability of demo versions that let you get acquainted with slots is a nice touch.

  • Playing anytime anywhere

Comfort is another argument in favor of online casinos. Gamblers do not need to go to land-based casinos to relax and spend time gambling after work. The gameplay can be accommodated on computers, laptops, and mobile devices.

  • Safe environment

To visit a real establishment, you need to get to a particular point on the map and spend a lot of time instead of starting the game at once. In addition, land-based casinos are crowded with people of different backgrounds who neither follow social distance nor use personal protective means. Besides, you’ll never know who is nearby and their intentions. Many people also experience emotional discomfort when feeling someone looking over their shoulders.

  • Tournaments and contests

You’ll get regular invitations to tournaments. Many virtual casinos offer their players to participate in various events with massive prize pools. This is a great opportunity to diversify leisure and make the pastime more interesting.

Should You Choose an Internet Casino to Gamble?

A legit and well-established online casino provides the bells and whistles of land-based houses, excluding the latter’s downsides. They ensure secure betting and financial transactions when you deposit or withdraw money. Besides, virtual gambling platforms work around the clock. They have responsive customer support instead of creepy eavesdroppers walking around offline casino halls. You are in a digital world in which everything depends on your luck. Now, you can enjoy full privacy and feel no pressure, whether plying for free or placing real-money bets.

The most popular stylists among Hollywood actors

Sometimes it can be hard to keep on top of who is stealing the show when it comes to Hollywood actor stylists. There is an endless list of popular stylists that have had a huge impact on the $2.4 trillion fashion business; however, below is a list of those considered at the top of their game when it comes to the best stylists among Hollywood actors.

From extravagant dresses crafted to perfection and worn on the red carpet all the way to Hollywood actors wearing men’s Superdry jackets, style comes in all shapes and sizes. Let’s see who has pulled off the best look, thanks to their amazing stylist.

Ilaria Urbinati

Ilaria Urbinati is a stylist based in Los Angeles who played a huge role in creating costumes worn in world-famous movies such as A Star Is Born as well as Bohemian Rhapsody. She styled the clothes worn by Bradley Cooper, who played Jackson Maine, and Rami Malek, who played Freddy Mercury. In addition to these notable accomplishments, the popular stylist also was one of six stylists to take part in the creation of outfits for the Oscars, which was sponsored by Walmart.

One of the most memorable pieces of fashion created by the fantastic Ilaria Urbinati was the blue tuxedo worn by Donald Glover at the Cannes Film Festival, which had the internet going crazy for the actor/singer.

Rebecca Corbin-Murray

Perhaps not a name everyone has heard yet, Rebecca Corbin-Murray is certain of a promising future. She rose to fame as a stylist in just the last year after her impressive efforts in the show Crazy Rich Asians, as well as knocking it out of the park for outfits tailored for the red carpet.

She is described as being innovative and a boundary pusher in the fashion industry and is backed by people with a lot of power in that field. Some of the most notable figures to recognize her potential include Sandra Choi, the creative director of Jimmy Choo, as well as luxury brand companies such as Louis Vuitton and Valentino. At the premiere of Crazy Rich Asians, Gemma Chan wore a stunning glittery dress that caught the eyes of many attending. This was co-designed by Rebecca Corbin-Murray and solidified her start in the fashion industry.

Elizabeth Stewart

Elizabeth Stewart is a stylist based out of Santa Monica who has played a big part in creating Julia Roberts’s style. She has been around for a significant amount of time and first started working with the world-famous American Actress way back in 2007.

Some of Elizabeth Stewart’s most recognized works included a gown that was hand-embroidered with floral designs and took over six months to make. It was worn by Cate Blanchett at the Cannes Film Festival in 2018, and needless to say, it blew people away.

Petra Flannery

When it comes to stylists who are consistently killing the game, Petra Flannery is one of the names that springs to mind. She played a massive part in creating the fashion worn by Emma Stone in the popular TV show The Favourite as well as Amy Adams’s outfits for the popular comedy/drama film Vice. In just two months, Petra managed to produce nearly 100 different looks used for the productions, and every piece was as good as the last.

She’s worked with influential figures in the fashion industry, including the creative director of Louis Vuitton, Nicolas Ghesquiere. She has also worked very closely with luxury brands such as Alexandre Vauthier, Versace, and Celine. Her accomplishments speak for themselves, and she has rightfully earned her place on this list of top stylists among Hollywood actors.

Erin Walsh

Erin Walsh is a stylist based out of Brooklyn who has had roles as part of the fashion team for the popular show Westworld. More specifically, she created the outfits worn by Thandiwe Newton at the Golden Globes and the Cannes Film Festival. The dress designed for Newton’s appearance at the Golden Globes was likened to an elegant disco ball that caught the eye of just about everyone attending. For the Cannes Film Festival, she created a magnificent gown by Vivienne Westwood, which had characters from Star Wars on it, for the premiere of Solo:A Star Wars Story. Her influence is unquestionable, which is why she has quite comfortably made this list of top Hollywood actor stylists.

Last week we saw a number of celebrities show love to their preferred designers in Milan and as Men’s Fashion Week rolls on, Paris is the next hot spot for star style sightings. This week, model, actress and swim designer Draya Michele was seen in leaving the Amiri fashion show looking pretty in pink.

On the StateofFashion.Bulletin.com: FAMU’s Marching Band Performs at Louis Vuitton’s Men Spring 2023 show + France’s Historical Appreciation of Black Culture

Visit and Subscribe to TheStateofFashion.Bulletin.com to read about FAMU’s Marching Band’s rousing performance at the Louis Vuitton Men’s Show and France’s historical love and appreciation of black entertainment.

I write, “This show, as well as others, paid tribute to the genius of Virgil Abloh, a Chicago raised Ghanaian American who gave Louis Vuitton a swagger and cultural resonance that will be hard to replicate. He, along with many black artists, gave the Parisian house an aura of cool, something the French have historically not been afraid to embrace. In 2013, Rick Owens, an American designer who has long lived in Paris, had steppers introduce his show. France’s embrace of black culture goes way back to the days of Josephine Baker, who, after experiencing racism in her home country in the 1920’s, became an international superstar while in Paris, first appearing at the Revue des Negres at the Theatre de Champs Elysees. In a 1974 interview with The Guardian, Baker said, “No, I didn’t get my first break on Broadway. I was only in the chorus in Shuffle Along and Chocolate Dandies. I became famous first in France … I just couldn’t stand America and I was one of the first colored Americans to move to Paris.””

Hanifa ‘Live Out Loud’ Summer 2022 Collection: A Vibrant Invitation to Be Bold

Anifa Mvuemba is no new-comer to the worlds fashion and technology! The first time we got to witness her designer label Hanifa in full action combining both spheres was back in 2020 in a virtual showcase that set the standards for metaverse fashion presentations. This summer, Hanifa has made a timely comeback to the digital fashion scene with yet another collection inviting you to be playful with color and cutthroat in silhouettes.

With nearly 30 looks of glamorous details, dramatic movement and bodacious shapes, ‘Live Out Loud’ captures the essence of everything we loved from yesterday with a fresh, contemporary take. This collection feels like the 90s. It feels like Y2K. Yet, admirably, the lineup offers something new to the eye of the beholder.

As a ready-to-wear release, this collection has it all! From gowns to mini skirts and dresses, bra-tops, cargo pants, wide-leg pants, lounge wear and have even returned staple fan favorites in new colorways. A whole array of sizing to fit all body types awaits shoppers of the collection. This speaks to the trajectory of the brand over such a short amount of time and how well they’ve catered to the Hanifa woman.

The digital fashion show aired live on YouTube on June 21st and the collection was made available for sale and pre-order right after. It was then followed by a live shopping event and Q&A the very next day. While Hanifa is known for their impressive online showcases, this was the first time the brand introduce an interactive component to the virtual experience! We applaud Hanifa for the constant and consistent innovation in efforts to push the envelope of fashion tech.

There is no denying it; this is the collection of the summer! While truthfully we love every look, here are some that live rent-free on our conscious:
