The New York Times’ Cintra Wilson wrote an interesting article on shopping at beauty juggernaut Sephora:

She says, “Sephora has such nonstop traffic and is such a hands-on finger-painting studio of test powders and open palettes of sticky red matter that there is a constant mess; one display bleeds in greasy, opalescent smears and snail trails of gelatinous pink goo into the next; confused and hapless boyfriends stumble around in the harsh light, squeezing in their shoulders, trying not to touch anything.”
Quite a fun read. Check it out here.

If you’re an America’s Next Top Model addict, get ready for all ANTM, all the time! America’s Next Top Model: OBSESSED is a compilation of ANTM marathons, past contestant updates, insider gossip pieces, and live-blogging from cast members (including Tyra herself)! OBSESSED debuts on Oxygen January 18, and last night the ANTM crème de la crème came out to celebrate!

Tyra Banks got her sexy siren on with this fluid, magenta-hued floor length gown that hugs her fabulous curves. I’m feeling the the lavender eye shadow and matching lipstick, too. Looking Hot, Tyra!
ANTM Cycle 8 winner Jaslene Gonzalez sparkles in this playful, strapless, feathered frock with silver peep-toe heels. Her gorgeous, natural-like makeup balances the dramatic dress beautifully–Hawt!
Cycle 6 winner Dani Evans sports a rock-chic look with black leather accents and a jersey-like mini-dress. It’s a Hot look on its own but next to Tyra and Jaslene’s more formal outfits seems a little underdressed, Hmm…
And ya know Miss Jay was in the building, Minnie Mouse ears and all!

Fashionista.com reports that Scott Schuman, also known as the Sartorialist, has inked a book deal with Penguin Books:

Not familiar? The Sartorialist snaps shots of the most fashionable subjects in the streets, then publishes them on his world famous blog. Now his readers get to see his pictures in print form, with a 500 page book set to hit bookshelves in September 2009.
Now that bloggers are inking book deals, the little wheels in my head are turning. Would y’all buy a book on black style?
