I was at the blog My Mood is Music, and saw they posted the following MTV Video:
I loved Danity Kane, I still work out to “Hold me Down”! Do you guys think the group can patch things up?

I’ve admitted to suffering from Herve Leger overload before–it seems every celeb opts for the short tight cocktail for club events. But leave it to Beyonce to wear an alternative:

She rocked a grey banded Herve Leger gown for jeweler Lorraine Schwartz’s dinner party in NYC a few days ago.
Hot or Hmm?
PS Dawn had the following to say about Herve, “I have like five Herve Leger dresses, and people tell me all the time, ‘Chill out with the Herve!‘ But I say wear what the heck you want…it fits curves great. It sucks in all the excess, so I say as long as you’re killin it…rock it!”
Aside from making waves as a talk show host and creator of American’s Next Top Model, Tyra Banks made history as the first black model to appear on the covers of GQ, Sports Illustrated‘s swimsuit issue, and the Victoria’s Secret catalog in 1996 and 1997.

The California girl, who once said, “I’ve always seen modeling as a stepping stone,” used her experiences to catapult her into magazines and onto television screens around the world.
Fierce!

Evian has collaborated with designer Jean Paul Gaultier to create this one of a kind Haute Couture Water Bottle...
Premiering this week, luxury retailer Bergdorf Goodman will be the first U.S. location to show this exclusive bottle. Only five Evian Haute Couture Bottles will be released worldwide, where they will travel the world before returning to France to be auctioned off to raise funds for wetland preservation.
Hmm, even water is getting an upgrade, huh?

The Wall Street Journal reports that label ABS by Allen Schwartz is rushing to create dresses inspired by Michelle Obama’s inauguration day ensembles…
Knock offs of the Jason Wu number will run about $300, and an ivory adaptation of the Toledo dress will go for about $200.
Though I thought Michelle looked radiant on Inauguration day, I’m not too sure I’d be running to buy a knock off of her dresses. I dunno, I like to do my own thing. What about you?
Parisian designer Paco Rabanne, who made a name for himself in the 60’s with his space-age inspired fashions, was the first designer to use black models in his shows…

Left to Right: Paco Rabanne Fashion Show; Donyale Luna wearing Paco Rabanne
His defiance of popular norms almost resulted in his dismissal from the Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne.
We had to start somewhere!

Fashion Bomb reader Veronica recently put me on to a t-shirt line called The Original David…

…Started by a Nigerian designer, the t-shirts are fun and cooky, and reflect the goofy kid in all of us. Q-Tip and Trey Songz are fans!
